On a balcony overlooking the New York City streets, OG-FPD Joshi Champion Dizzy and Team Ryder member Frog Jones stand side by side looking over a railing, talking quietly.
[Frog:] Okay, tell me about... that one.
Frog points down at at ground level, and Dizzy follows his pointing.
[Dizzy:] That guy? Blue suit?
[Frog:] Yeah.
[Dizzy:] He's trying to catch a cab because his car broke down, that it did. He has a cat, and he calls it "Steve."
[Frog:] Steve the Cat?
[Dizzy:] Sure. He's getting home to Steve the Cat and when he gets there he's going to call that girl from the concert he went to last night-
[Frog:] Who'd he see?
[Dizzy:] Uhm, uhm... who played last night?
Frog shrugs.
[Dizzy:] Probably some local band then. He's gonna call that girl from the concert he went to, and she'll answer, and they'll talk - it'll be awkward, 'cuz he stutters when he's nervous - but they'll arrange a coffee date; and then they'll fall in love and get married and live happily ever after!
[Frog:] Making the stories up for other people is weird, Diz.
[Dizzy:] Well, everybody has a story, Froggy. Just because you don't know it, doesn't mean it's not going. Like... before you met me, I had a life.
[Frog:] No kiddin'.
[Dizzy:] Well, if you hadn't met me, my life would still be going on. And, it's the same for everybody in Team Ryder, in OG-FPD's Joshi division, in pro (e) wrestling, in New York, in THE WORLD! Just because we don't know them doesn't mean they don't have their problems, that they don't have their successes...
[Frog:] ...that they don't have their Matt Lauer hatred?
She giggles and playfully pushes his shoulder weakly.
[Dizzy:] Stop. I'm kinda sensitive about my schooling, that I am.
[Frog:] Kinda VERY sensitive, I guess. Never seen you so upset.
[Dizzy:] It happens. I get angry too, you know.
[Frog:] Yeah...
[Dizzy:] But, lots of people get angry and upset. And sometimes, you can't really know what it is that'll make people mad.
[Frog:] Like, say, Holly?
[Dizzy:] Way to transition, loser.
She slugs him in the shoulder, and he laughs, rubbing where she punched.
[Frog:] I'm serious. She's like, WAY freaked out - she didn't like that you were all "Woo! 'sup crowd?" before you pinned her.
[Dizzy:] The Dizzaroos needed to hear that their leader was as excited to see them as they were to see me!
[Frog:] The Dizzaroos, eh?
[Dizzy:] Be nice, please? See... there's all sorts of fans, right?
[Frog:] Yeah.
[Dizzy:] And, if you wanted to see say... a band! A good one! A great band, they played lots of music and such! And they looked like they were having fun, right?
[Frog:] Yeh.
[Dizzy:] What if they weren't having fun, just pretending they were?
[Frog:] That'd suck, I guess.
[Dizzy:] Yeah! When I wrestle... I want people to have fun. And I want them to know that I'm having fun too.
[Frog:] So, happy endings all the way around?
[Dizzy:] I like to pretend there are. But, the only happy endings are the ones you make - and I heard that massage parlors have happy endings too, but I guess the happy ending comes when you see the bill and you're like, "Oh! That was way less expensive than I thought!"
[Frog:] You've lived a sheltered life, Diz. Just wanted you to know that.
[Dizzy:] Well... everybody has a past right? The big thing is whether or not people try to get PAST that, to constantly improve themselves and make their life better - and this is how people get their happy endings.
[Frog:] I'd sure like a happy ending. You up for it, Diz?
[Dizzy:] ...I'm not charging you money.
Frog laughs a little bit, before turning and walking away as the scene fades out.
