Destiny Unknown PPV

This is the Orochi-O's Zone show for this month: An OG-Joshi PPV that never had the chance to happen. All of the videos were done for it and it was MEANT to be posted last summer, but things obviously changed course.
I never did the full commentary for it and it seems silly to rectify that now for a show that does not count. However, there are a number of *notes* that I had ready for the show (to help me write it) that I am keeping into the write-up so you have an idea of what was meant to happen. I also am including a few "explanation/reaction" lines from O's Zone version, Jean Carter. These lines were not meant as part of the show but imagine her as a current day narrator helping to explain some stuff that you may have forgotten or didn't know.
This is kind of a hodge podge but for a show that never actually officially took place. I think that's ok. Really, I'm just posting this for those who wanted to watch the video matches (which you can still enjoy here) and see what was planned for the future (before it changed) and I think that much will be clear. There were a lot of big angles on this show that I really wanted to see happen and work with, and I apologize to those who were involved in them. This show represents what OG-Joshi had coming up...and honestly, it kicked ass, even if the presentation of it in this post leaves a bit to be desired. But I'm gonna make it up to you guys...with like chicken sandwiches or something.
OG-Joshi: "Destiny Unknown" "Ruby ruby ruby Mor-eno"
*Start PPV with modified "Destination Unknown" lyrics and end ppv with "time to say goodbye"
*Possible show opening with Kuro's band "Rozen Grave" performing song.*
[Jean:] "That's right! We were gonna have Kurobara's band play the opening song for the PPV! Holy big budget, Batman! I heard Kuro was even gonna let Xander play to get Eris Byrne's attention!"
Dark Match: Kellie Boone vs. Takako Fuyuki (Debuting)
(Dragonkin wrote this match!)
First down to the ring is Kellie Boone, looking energetic and upbeat as
she comes down the ramp with a spring in her step. Next out is newcomer
Takako Fuyuki in sharp contrast, sauntering down to the ring. She is
looking completely disinterested, barely acknowledging the presence of
referee McGuirk, the crowd, or her opponent. Kellie offers a handshake,
but Takako just spits her gum out into the outstretched hand, slapping
her surprised opponent straight across the face. By the time Kellie
snaps out of the shock, Takako is leaning back in her corner and McGuirk
calls for the bell before the action starts anyway.
Kellie and Takako square off in the centre of the ring, Kellie giving up
a good four inches to her opponent but refusing to back down. Fuyuki
seems to be goading her on verbally, even slapping the smaller woman
across the face again before Kellie answers back with a big forearm
strike. Takako seems unfazed, firing back with a big elbow that knocks
Kellie off her feet. Kellie is then stalked by her opponent, who circles
her with measured kicks and stomps until she hides under the bottom
rope, finally making McGuirk step in and separate them, letting Kellie
get back to her feet.
Kellie finally gets her head together enough to start using her speed
game at this point, finding some success dodging incoming attacks and
hitting a quick headscissors, but the early match beatdown has worn her
down enough to slow her down a bit. As Kellie ducks under a lariat and
comes off the rope with a wheel kick she gets caught, bouncing off
Takako's knee as she is dropped her straight down into a backbreaker.
Fuyuki immediately mounts her, pounding her into the mat with a series
of big elbows before covering Kellie, who squirms out at a two count.
The end comes soon after. Kellie tries once more to mount a comeback,
reversing a whip into the corner and going for a monkey flip, only to be
dropped throat first onto the top rope. Takako powers her into the
corner, pummeling her stomach and face with vicious knee strikes before
hauling her out into the middle of the ring. She grabs Kellie in a
gutwrench, powering her up onto one shoulder. Turning slowly, she points
out into the crowd and finally up the ramp before bringing Kellie down
with a thundering powerbomb, covering her with a single hand for the
three count. Xiang Li comes down after to check on Kellie and help her out of the ring.
[Jean:] "I got a feeling watching this match that Takako was going to mean trouble for OG-Joshi..."
[Jean:] The next, and well, FIRST official, match of the PPV involved Lina being able to pick any partner she wanted to face the OG-Joshi Tag Champions, the Reed Sisters!! In the months leading to the PPV. I allowed Lina to team with a few potential wrestlers to see if there was any chemistry between them. So who did she choose?!

But they would have won the Tag Titles had OG-Joshi not been sold to Ruby Moreno. [Jean:] "I have nothing to say about the next match. Even in hypothetical form, it makes me sad it was booked."
March 2: Yardsale Deathmatch: Gutter vs. Judy Bones
(OctoberRaven wrote this match!)
Ring crew members bring out a dozen tables and place them around the ring, and then start collecting weapons from the fans. Some are simple, chairs, bats, lighttubes and such; some are more unusual to wrestling like a Sega Saturn, a length of extension cord, even a couple glass coke bottles; and some fans even brought custom-made weaponry.
The objects were put on the tables as "Threshold" by Slayer hit and Gutter made her way down the ramp. Usually she takes her time getting in the ring but tonight she sprints into the ring, and holding a piece of rebar with her.
After Gutter makes her way to the ring, "All Within My Hands" by Metallica would play as Judy came out, escorted by two police offers and in handcuffs. The officers took the cuffs off of her and she made her way to the ring, taking her time, circling the ring and looking over the weaponry available, grabbing a novelty street sign that reads "PAIN ST" before heading into the ring.
Gutter vs Judy: "Yard Sale" Death Match
Judy charges right at Gutter who swings the rebar at Judy, but Judy sidesteps and belts Gutter with the sign, making Gutter drop the rebar as she ended up draped on the second rope. Judy spanked Gutter with the street sign a few times before punting her in the ribs, pulling Gutter up against the corner and swings the rebar across her ribs!
Gutter clutches her ribs in pain as Judy tosses Gutter through the ropes, stepping outside to pick out some of the weaponry. A brick catches Judy's eye first as she hammers Gutter over the head with it, then takes an extension cord to choke her until Gutter elbows Judy a couple times to get free. Gutter grabs a light tube but Judy uses her arm to block it, it breaks over her arm but she doesn't get cut due to her prison jumpsuit. Judy responds with a teddy bear wrapped in barbedwire on a sick, holding it by the stick and swinging it HARD at Gutter's head, knocking her onto the other various weapons on the tables.
Judy picked up Gutter by the hair now, and Gutter's face is covered in blood at this point, and Judy would throw Gutter backward into the apron, Gutter staggering forward right into Judy's arms, and she hits a vicious spinebuster through the table! Judy follows up with her 'Lockdown' submission hold. The referee goes outside to ask Gutter if she wants to quit, but before he gets a chance, Judy lets go, yelling out "THIS IS OVER WHEN I SAY IT'S OVER!"
Judy now grabs a baseball bat with shards of glass glued to it, Gutter getting up slowly only to get the bat in the midsection, doubling over and allowing Judy to club her in the back now. Judy tosses the bat aside as she rolls Gutter back into the ring, taking a kendo stick with light tubes duct taped to it and a cookie sheet with thumbacks glued on one side as well. She hits Gutter with the stick, causing glass shards to fly everywhere as she hits Gutter until all the tubes are broken, then picks Gutter up and gives her the 'Bitch Breaker' (piledriver) onto the shards of broken glass! Now she finally pins Gutter... one... two... and Gutter gets her shoulder up!
Judy doesn't seem too upset by this... in fact, she's SMILING. She picks up Gutter and gives her a spinebuster onto the thumbtacks, then holding onto her she delivers ANOTHER spinebuster on the tacks before grabbing Gutter's legs for the Lockdown! Gutter refuses to tap out, even FLIPPING OFF THE REF when she can't verbally refuse to quit.
Eventually she goes limp, and the ref starts to check her arm... but Judy reaches back and grabs the ref by the collar and pulls him away from Gutter, WHILE holding on the Lockdown, so he can't stop the match!
(Carter should start crying about now)
Judy finally lets go of the Lockdown, and Judy drops to a knee... pulling up one of the legs of her jumpsuit to reveal a pair of handcuffs. At this point the ref just keeps into the corner to avoid Judy's wrath, and Judy drags Gutter to the ropes, propping her up and putting the cuffs on behind Gutter's back, using the top rope as an anchor to keep Gutter from moving at all. Gutter is completely defenceless now, and starts slapping Gutter in the face until she finally stirs and opens her eyes... then Judy grabs her by the hair and starts MAKING OUT with her, Gutter struggling and eventually managing to kick Judy off! Judy responds by punching her in the temple and then starts throttling Gutter with both hands until Gutter passes out again. The ref slowly moves in, but Judy shoots him a glance and backs off. Gutter starts to get blue in the face when...Jean Carter runs to the ring and throws in the towel!
The ref quickly rings the bell and gets the HELL out of the ring as Judy's police officers move into the ring.
Gutter X [11:03- Stoppage] Judy Bones O
Judy doesn't let go and the cops move in to separate her, but they can't pry her hands off of Gutter! Finally Genji Security members rush to the ring, one of them with a TASER and this finally gets Judy from choking Gutter to death. EMTs rush in now as one of the police officers picks the locks of the handcuffs, and after the EMTs assure that Gutter still has a PULSE after the choking, put her on a stretcher and rush her out of the building as Judy is DRAGGED to the back.
[Jean:] "This next match is the result of Natalia and myself helping Yoshi break free from Matsuki Holdings. Narai was looking to get some revenge on both while Yoshi and Natalia wanted to continue their friendly rivalry.

Alicia shakes Firefly's hand and two celebrate.
*Alicia gets on the mic and thanks MJC for letting her back into OG-Joshi in exchange for Yoshi Hattori's freedom from Matsuki Holdings. She asks MJC "is it worth it" and then says: "She'll make sure it wasn't."
[Jean:] "Ok, so for those who don't remember. Part of the arrangement to free Yoshi Hattori from Matsuki's management was to get Ruby Moreno to put the OG-Joshi World Title on the line against Narai Kaeo. In order to get Ruby to put her title on the line, I agreed to allow Alicia Gordon back on the roster. Ruby never told me why she wanted Alicia back in OG-Joshi but I thought it was worth it to free Yoshi who was tormented by Matsuki. Despite what happened in this match, it was worth it. Doing the right thing is always worth it."
[Jean:] "These next two teams had been feuding violently for months but also had a lot of momentum. And so the winner of this match would become the #1 Contenders to the OG-Joshi Tag Champions. This was a "no escape" match which meant that submissions were turned off and you could only win using a pinfall or knockout. The reason I went with a "no escape" match was because I wanted both teams to have to make a choice. If they continued to make each other suffer with submissions, it would put them no closer to actually winning the match. If they wanted to actually compete for the Championships, they'd have to put the bad blood behind them and try to win as quickly as they could rather then drag out the match to make their opponents feel more pain."
Match 5: OG-Joshi Tag Championship #1 Contender match: No Escape Tornado Tag:
Chanel/Lorelai vs. The Hellions (Sako Dasumi/Hae-Won)
Match 6: OG-Joshi World Championship:
Visper Karr vs. Ruby Moreno (c)
*This was meant to be a rather large dialogue angle that I am just going to summarize here. If you don't want to read it all, that's cool. But there's a little video surprise at the end of it ;D *
Ruby demands that her sister be thrown out of OG-Joshi. MJC says that no woman is bigger then OG-Joshi. Ruby counters with the fact that Jean is now too personally involved in the situation due to being friends with Rose. Her opinion is invalid. Jean says isn' about her being friends ,this is about her as the Coach not being threatened and the champ not being allowed to have leverage that no one else has. MJC refuses to fire Rose.
Ruby threatens to leave with the title, MJC says go ahead. OG-Joshi is about the spirit of competition and doing the right thing. Ruby isn't the best wrestler in the world, she only beat Visper once and did it by surprise under the mask when Kat was supposed to be the opponent. Then Ruby refused a rematch under normal conditions. If she was a real champion, she'd face Visper again and not try to blackmail OG-Joshi. Ruby never proved she's better then the top talent in OG-Joshi. Jenny McLanahan even beat her last year for the LAWL OMG Title. If Ruby wants to leave, she will be barred from competing in OG-Joshi, and OG-J will be better for it.
Ruby is shocked and is about to leave when the heels of the OG-Joshi roster comes out from backstage, forming a wall. They say that either Ruby defends her title now or they will end her wrestling career.
MJC doesn't want the violence and says Ruby's career is over anyway since she lost any trace of integrity she ever had. Jean gets confident and angry at Ruby says she's not a champion and doesnt deserve to be in OG-J. Kat Black is a champ, Visper is champ. even Eris and Lina are champs cause they legitimately won their match even if it was surprising. Ruby should get the heck out of here as any title she holds is now worthless. OG-Joshi will have a new champion they can be proud of. But first lets get rid of the riff raff. Starts singing "na na na na" and tells the heel wrestlers (who are now joined by the face ones in support of Jean) to clear a path for Ruby.
Ruby smirks and walks out, holding the World Title high and leaves. She says she just stole OG-Joshi's "light". The heels looks at MJC angry that the Title is gone, the faces look confused and unsure of what to do.
Jean smiles and announces an upcoming tournament for the vacant OG-Joshi Title. This was her back-up plan going into tonight. Everyone on Voltage will have a chance to win it. Everyone is happier.
But MJC doesn't want the crowd to go home tonight without a main event. So we're gonna have what we should have had for the main event of the first Voltage after Ragnarok: Visper Karr vs. Kat Black. No belt on the line...but something more important: the integrity of the promotion and entertainment of the fans!
Match 6B: Visper Karr vs. Kat Black
And that's it, folks. Ruby takes the title to LAWL (not all that different from what happened with the Immortal story, really) and OG-Joshi was going to crown a new Champion. I wasn't actually sure who that was going to be but top contenders in my mind were going to be Kat Black, Molly Cule, and heel Alicia Gordon (with her ally Firefly being in contention for Amplitude gold). Visper may have followed Ruby to LAWL to get her Title back.
So would Destiny Unknown have delivered? Maybe. But either way, Ruby made out like a thief in the night
