*Orochi Geese is in the UBL Dojo section of the Peter Venkman Memorial Arena sparring with Mr. Figaro.*
[Mr. Figaro:] "Less dancing and more prancing!"
[Geese:] "You said that on commentary once."
[Figaro:] "You remembered? Wait, you actually heard my commentary and didn't fire me immediately? Geese, you went loco years before we knew it!"
*Geese smiles and throws an elbow but Figaro catches it with one hand and pushes him backward.*
[Figaro:] "Focus on a sturdy center of gravity. Kyle is much shorter then you so if you over-commit to a strike, you're going to have problems. And you're actually quicker then he is, you don't need to throw haymakers. Nor does that young lady want you to."
*Geese looks surprised and turns around to see Robin "Holly" Walker observing them with a wry look on her face.*
[Robin:] "Figgy, take five. Geese, so much for only being able to wrestle one final match!"
[Geese:] "This is just low intensity training, my dear."
[Figaro:] "Better be. Cause you still need work... unless you're holding back."
*Figaro grins and Geese nods with actual modesty.*
[Geese:] "I've fought you more times then was appropriate, I've lost my taste for it."
*Figaro smiles but Robin looks mock offended.*
[Robin:] "Ohhhhh, I get it! So you wanna fight Kyle then, don't ya?
*Her feigned righteous indignation settles down as she shrugs her shoulders.*
[Robin:] "Well, kinda hard to blame you."
[Geese:] "I do not wish to fight him or anyone else again. But he leaves me no choice. Therefore, I'm not fighting against him as much as I'm fighting for us."
*Figaro moves over to the ropes, pushing the top and middle one apart so that Robin can walk through. Then Figaro exits the ring.*
[Figaro:] "I'll stand guard outside. You two discuss strategy, or smooch, or order me a pizza."
*Robin kisses Geese and smiles back at Figaro.*
[Robin:] "Maybe two out of the three. Either way, come back in thirty."
[Figaro:] "Or my pizza isn't free?"
*Robin stamps her foot with impatience, causing Figaro to laugh*
[Geese:] "Ahem, thank you very much for your assistance, my friend."
*Figaro nods to both of them and exits. Robin leans on one of the posts and looks at Geese with no expression. After a few seconds of attempting to comedically pose for her while mockingly bragging about being "Matsuki's latest acquisition", he stops and realizes she is serious.*
[Geese:] "Penny for your thoughts?"
*At this statement, Robin actually laughs.*
[Robin:] "Like you can afford it. Do you even have a penny left to your name!?"
[Geese:] "I do not. Celes has been most generous in providing for my meals the last month."
[Robin:] "So what are you going to do?"
[Geese:] "I was thinking Quizno's for lunch if you're buying."
[Robin:] "Not what I meant, Ohoagie Geese."
[Geese:] "I figured. You want my plan for facing Kyle."
[Robin:] "We'll get to that. But i mean what are you going to do now that you've given up your entire fortune for me?"
*Geese smiles and walks closer to her. He takes her hand and kisses it.*
[Geese:] "My dear, you are my fortune. And I plan on enjoying it all. I offer myself congratulations as I now have everything in the world I've ever truly wanted."
[Robin:] "Yeah, a sugar momma."
*Robin kisses Geese and hugs him tightly for a few seconds.*
[Geese:] "Money is not my concern. Not just because you retain your earnings from Orochi-O's and OG-Joshi, but because I know I can find work to support myself. Preferably, the kind of work that won't consume me or cater to certain competitive tendencies."
[Robin:] "Oh please, you're not going to have to work, Geese. You didn't give up everything for me just so I'd make you get a desk job or something. You took me in when I was an interview girl and I'm taking you in now that you've basically saved my life."
[Geese:] "Celes helped too, of course. But I suppose I ran outside interference in preventing your coma from winning a match with your consciousness. I even started chants."
*Robin laughs and starts stomping on the mat rhythmically*
[Robin:] "Artfully put. Now, I don't know what Kyle is planning on doing but there's nothing he can accomplish in the ring that will make me give up on you. He's going to have to understand that some way or another. But the question is, what do we do after Immortal?"
[Geese:] "I suppose we should start with you since I am retiring from the ring. I assumed you were done with professional wrestling as well but that is your choice to make."
[Robin:] "You know, I heard that Luke Kisiera gave up pro wrestling since Jean isn't being allowed into the new OG-Joshi. I think it's romantic how they are getting a new start together. And you, you gave up your career, your everything, for me. So it's only fair-"
[Geese:] "It's only fair you do what you feel is right. I'll support your decision either way. I won't miss the ring at all, but maybe you will and already do."
[Robin:] "Honestly, I don't and won't. I have nothing left to prove. My very existence in that ring was to prove Jo Ryder and my detractors wrong. I did that, maybe not through means I'm entirely proud of. But when it came to the actual competition, I turned out far better then anyone could have expected: especially me. It just doesn't make sense to continue. I have more people who want to hunt me down or who could make a name for themselves beating me then I have goals left to achieve. The passion is gone. So it's time to hang up my sexy boots, Geese."
[Geese:] "Your reasoning is sound."
[Robin:] "So that means it's time for us to decide our next step. How will you enjoy your fortune. Geese? What will we do to make our legacy together exceed that of our careers?"
[Geese:] "I have a few ideas, but I think it would be best to decide that after Immortal-"
*At this, Robin's tone grows more anxious and insistent.*
[Robin:] "No. We do that before Immortal so you know what you are fighting for. I don't want there to be a second of doubt in your mind during the match that we have a future planned. Hopefully Kyle can be part of that future in some way, assuming his support of ours, but you can't stop fighting if he goes all Jinchuu on you. You can't assume I want you to stand down and let him do what he wants. I don't. I just...don't want you to hurt him."
[Geese:] "That won't be a problem."
[Robin:] "is it true you aren't ready, though?"
[Geese:] "I'm ready...to never face Figaro again. Kyle is my last opponent, my final fight, and he is the only one I will tolerate wrestling so that we can be free. I have special plans to ensure I go into that match with his health, my health, and our happiness as paramount priorities."
*Robin is quiet for a few seconds but then laughs.*
[Robin:] "You remember when Kyle first debuted in this business and the Brickton Curs from Valiant stuffed him into a burlap sack? I got furious at you for not telling me that you had hired them to protect Kyle. I didn't fully trust that you were going to do the right thing for him and value his health first. And that was before he tried to end your career."
[Geese:] "Right, I remember that quite well. Things are certainly different now and the stakes are higher."
[Robin:] "They are different. Because now I trust you completely. You don't need to tell me your plan. I just want to ensure you that I know you're going to do the right thing. I told the same thing to Kyle too, without mentioning the burlap bag incident."
*Robin lowers her voice to a whisper and looks around mock alarmed.*
[Robin:] "I don't know if you've noticed, but that boy tends to hold a bit of a grudge."
*The two laugh and Geese puts his arm around Robin.*
[Geese:] "As for our future, let's talk about this now. We're both done with professional wrestling, cereal, and hopefully theme parks, *Robin laughs* but two driven minds like ours will not be content doing nothing: even with your amassed funds to rely on."
[Robin:] "How would you feel about *Robin looks away* moving to Deadwood and starting over there? Aside from just being near my folks, some honest farm work could do us both good. Taking any anger out on bales of hay would be ok, I think."
*Geese holds her by the shoulders and kisses her cheek, letting her know he isn't upset. She smiles at him.*
[Geese:] "If you truly want to be near your family, I want us to attempt that. But I think we should see how Immortal plays out before we commit to this plan. Even if Kyle has a change of heart and accepts me, I am unsure of the awareness your parents have about the last few years between us three. And if memory serves correctly, your father didn't care for me when we met."
*Robin sighs and reflects on the moment, rolling her eyes a bit.*
[Robin:] "Don't feel bad hun, he's not so fond of me either. And Kyle told them the whole story, from his perspective, when I was in the coma. They hate you, Geese. And, to be honest, my father almost hired a hit man to eliminate you but Kyle insisted on doing it himself."
*Geese's face contorts in discomfort as he rubs the back of his neck.*
[Geese:] "So...maybe we won't live in the same house as they do?"
*Robin laughs and hits Geese on the shoulder.*
[Robin:] "I'll talk this through with them. I know that living nearby will present some challenges. But if I'm ever able to fully accept myself, if I'm ever able to gain the full level of comfort and happiness that Jean Carter has, I have to at least try to patch things up with my parents. If we try it and it doesn't work, we move somewhere else. Your choice."
*Geese nods but then quiets down a bit. He looks Robin in the eyes.*
[Geese:] "You remember Celes' offer, right?"
[Robin:] "I wouldn't rule that out but I don't want to attempt it right away. It would require too big an adjustment and I'm still getting back into "real life" after my coma. Plus, she wasn't even sure if the idea was physically possible, but that she'd have to first 'do some tests'."
[Geese:] "So I won't bring it up again unless things don't work out with your parents."
[Robin:] "Sounds good. After all, we have a chance to start over but I can't do that until I correct the things that went wrong in my life to begin with. I know you can understand that better then anyone else. After all, you've made peace with just about everything in your life-"
*Geese laughs.*
[Geese:] "Far from it actually. But I'm more concerned with spending the rest of my life with you then apologizing to every person I've ever wronged. The money to Jeff Monroe was also intended as a gesture of apology to the wrestling world as a whole. I can''t spend the rest of my life atoning, that makes a man crazy. Instead, I will do everything I can to make us a happy life so that I won't be tempted into making the same mistakes. Together, with the realization of how our lives went off course, we can ensure that neither of us ever walk that path again."
[Robin:] "And that starts at Immortal."
[Geese:] "It already started. I'm completely ready, my love. Your brother will not be hurt, but he will be defeated. Nothing stands in between us anymore and I will show him the power of my dedication for you. Once he fully experiences that, he will stand down."
[Robin:] "I know you believe that. But he scares me. Even if you did accidentally hurt him, he wouldn't know it. It's like he can't feel pain anymore. At least not physical pain."
[Geese:] "He won't feel pain from my moves, he will feel recognition. This is the first time in my career I am not aiming to impact my opponent's neck, but reach their mind. His body may be numb with war, but I will bring feeling back so he can share in our peace."
[Robin:] "I sure hope so. I know you both love me but in the heat of the moment, I've seen each of you do some crazy things. And hey, I have too, so I'm not judging. I'm just worried, Geese. I can't lose either of you, and I can't have one be the reason for the other one's loss. Don't make a coma seem like an attractive alternative to a life with one of you broken."
[Geese:] "There will not be a moment where I will allow things to go out of control. Chaos is gone, propaganda is gone. Only we are left. I will do everything I can to protect that. You have my word. This is still my arena and I control the situation thoroughly in ways Kyle can't imagine. As long as you trust me, I will be at my most potent in seeing our plan is met."
[Robin:] "It would be nice to have an Anniversary show where none of us are injured or are responsible for anyone else's injury. That, alone, would be a victory. I guess that's one of the reasons I'm so on edge about this. Our own history haunts me."
[Geese:] "The past may haunt the future but it can't control it. Celes helped both of us change: you during an anniversary show, no less. And I will help Kyle change. Our world is different now, and I will prove it. Immortal and it's legacy applies to us, most of all."
*Robin kisses him one more time and the two hold each other in the ring as the scene fades to black.*
[Mr. Figaro:] "Less dancing and more prancing!"
[Geese:] "You said that on commentary once."
[Figaro:] "You remembered? Wait, you actually heard my commentary and didn't fire me immediately? Geese, you went loco years before we knew it!"
