"I call shenanigans"

*We fade into Coach Carter's office during late afternoon on Monday. She has her brow furrowed over what looks to be paperwork while Luke Kisiera is reading the newspaper. There is a knock on the door and they both look up.*

[MJC:] "Yes?"

"I'm coming in."

[MJC:] "Who-"

[Luke:] "What-"

[MJC:] "When-"

*The two smile at each other but their expressions quickly change when they see who has joined them: Alicia Gordon.*

[Alicia:] "Don't call security. I'll do what I want before they get here anyway."

*Luke quickly gets up and stands in front of Jean.*

[Luke:] "We don't want any trouble but you don't get free reign."

[MJC:] "He didn't back down to Kyle Walker-"

*Alicia laughs*

[Alicia:] "That little sh*t? Congratulations on not being afraid of half-pint hatred."

[MJC:] "Ok, that was actually kind of funny."

*Alicia's expression tightens.*

[Alicia:] "Oh what a 'great' honor! I may be from LAWL but I'm not here to entertain you, Carter. Now I demand to know what the hell is going on here. Moreno got me back in OG-Joshi. And you know full well what happens-"

[MJC:] "Yes, I know I agreed to your return. You don't have to emphasize that you're back on the roster. But your contract here is no different then any other wrestler when it comes to me putting you on shows."

[Alicia:] "Right. I'm not an idiot. There has to be shows for me to get on them. So, 'Coach', where the hell are the damn shows!? What happened to Destiny Unknown? Where are the O's TV's? I'd settle for a UBL show to f*ck up that blowhard, Ward."

*Luke appears favorable to that idea but Jean answers Alicia with as business-like a voice as she can muster.*

[MJC:] "I am unable to discuss any details with you about our upcoming schedule."

*This pisses Alicia off enough to start walking to Jean but Luke holds his hand out.*

[Luke:] "I think you could hear her from the distance you were at."

[Alicia:] "I'm losing my patience. So if I don't find out what's going on now, I am trashing you both. I have plans for my return and I will not allow you to sandbag them by pulling shows from the schedule."

*Jean looks surprised and exasperated.*

[MJC:] "You don't...you can't possibly be arrogant enough to think that the reason we haven't had any events recently is because I wanted to keep you off them? Is that it, Alicia? You think I'd hurt OG-Joshi by keeping it inactive just to take you out of the equation? I'm not like Ruby Moreno and you're not as important as you think you are."

*Alicia looks stunned to see MJC mouth off to her and begins tensing up her body as if she's going to fight. But before she has a chance to wind up, Marie Reyes, walks into the room and is startled by the scene.*

[Marie:] "Alicia!"

*Alicia is beyond stunned. Her expression has graduated to shocked due to her (maybe still?) best friend suddenly appearing an entire US coast away from where she expected her to be. Alicia turns around but doesn't smile.*

[Alicia:] "Huh? Marie!? What are you doing here?"

[Marie:] "I have a meeting with Miss Carter. The question is what are you doing in fighting stance?"

[Alicia:] "Talking."

[Marie:] "I know you and that's not talking."

[Alicia:] "Well, maybe you could show me how to talk to Carter and ask her why the hell I'm not being booked."

[Marie:] "If you calm down, you can talk to me."

*Alicia looks even more surprised now.*

[Alicia:] "How would you know what's going on here?"

[Marie:] "Like I'm sure Coach told you, it's not something that can be discussed now. But we still need to talk. And we both know I'm not going to just stand here and let you do what you were about to do to them. So let's walk out of here the right way."

*MJC looks as grateful as she can look and smiles at Marie with relief.*

[MJC:] "Thanks, Marie. We'll reschedule, ok?"

[Marie:] "Of course, Jean. Luke, always a pleasure."

[Luke:] "Say hi to the potatoes for me."

*MJC lets a laugh sneak out and Marie smiles*

[Marie:] "Will do. Let's go, Alicia."

*Alicia doesn't budge and Marie looks more insistent.*

[Marie:] "There's a lot I have to say to you and I'd rather not do it in front of them, for your own privacy, Leesh. Now I'm willing to forget you came in here to intimidate them but it's over now. Come with me, cause we have to talk and I'm not walking away until we do and they are safe. Let's go, enough of this. Leave them alone."

*Alicia still doesn't budge so Marie walks right in front of her, looks her in the eyes, and slaps her. MJC and Luke brace themselves for Alicia's reaction but she just shakes her head, as if snapping out of a trance.*

[Marie:] "I got your attention now? We're getting out of here and talking til you understand why I had to do that."

*Alicia follows Marie out of the room as Jean and Luke take a deep breath.*

[MJC:] "Remind me again why we don't lock that door when we're here?"

[Luke:] "Ghosts."

[MJC:] "Touche."

*The scene fades as Luke goes over to give Jean a back rub.*
