Scene opens in a room, shrouded in near darkness. The camera pans along the floor, passing a pile of discarded clothing and a shed mask, belonging to Piñata Mask. As our view rises we see two figures - one lying on a cot as if asleep, nothing more than a silhouette in the dim light. The figure sitting by her side however, we now know as Ayamarca. She starts to speak.
Ayamarca: "I searched for you for so many years. Every country. Every city. Every village... I cannot believe I finally found you. I ... cannot believe what they did to you."
Ayamarca stands, pacing back and forth while she speaks, growing gradually more agitated.
Ayamarca: "At first I didn't recognise you at all. Such ... such cruelty. To see you blinded by the lights, screaming your pain and confusion. All they did was laugh and cheer."
She stops, shaking her head and mumbling to herself. Trembling she picks up a nearby item (a purple Potatodora plushie - get yours today kids!) and hurls it at the wall with a scream.
Ayamarca: "They laughed and cheered at your AGONY! My dear, confused sister..."
Ayamarca turns away from us again, moving to the cot. She takes the figure's hand, holding it up to her masked face.
Ayamarca: "Even in the state you were in, you retained a little of yourself. That has to explain why even blinded and confused, you were drawn to the company of that llama. And today we celebrated the coming of Ayamarca in the old way, taking the heart of just such a beast as an offering."
She pauses, watching the figure for a few moments before standing.
Ayamarca: "Your mind is still clouded, dear sister. Let me be your voice of reason until the mist clears. Rest in the darkness, and recover your strength..."
