First, I'd like to wish everyone here a Happy New Year. EVERYONE. I just hope that for those currently in disagreement with me or in violent conflict with others, that they can get some proper joy into their lives rather then siphoning it away from the world. For those who performed well over the last year, especially at Ragnarok, I hope you've enjoyed the holiday break.

Ragnarok was a tale of two different worlds and reconciling the two has been next to impossible. But I knew that when I accepted this job and I will not back down. I have so many thoughts running through my head and I don't even know how many to share.

As a result, this will be a multi-part Coach's Corner. Hopefully no more then four corners or else we may be in 3d! (Luke thought that would help break the ice). Let's start with an injury and missing persons report.

- Haley Cannon is going to be ok but is currently in a lot of pain and experiencing bouts of vertigo. She suffered a concussion and neck injury as a result of Alicia Gordon's attack, specifically the AK-47. We expect Haley to be back sometime in the Spring. Despite this prognosis and her present physical discomfort, she is in remarkably good spirits and actually made me feel better when I visited her.

- Drake Yoshida and I agreed not to speak much about what happened at the very end of Ragnarok as we believe that is Geese's right to inform the world as to the health of his girlfriend. However, for OG-Joshi purposes, just assume we will not be seeing Holly in that ring for at least a year. While the history between her and myself is well known, and well shown at the end of Night 1, I am very sad that she was attacked at all. And especially to this degree. That's not how pro wrestlers or people are supposed to act.

Whether you believe it or not that she was trying to improve her life and was being truthful to Celes, the point remains that what happened to her was a heinous crime and something I never want to see again. I have heard rumors that Geese will be launching a full scale investigation involving certain roster members as suspects. I will do the best I can to make sure it is fair. But please realize that there is a very angry Orochi Geese and Kyle Walker lurking around right now and act accordingly.


- Celes is gone. As is Clyde and Figaro. I have not been able to contact them nor have I heard anything regarding them since the end of Night 2 when I glanced at them leaving the building. While Celes was never officially a wrestler here, it looks like she will not ever be around here again. As the former General, I think we owe her a public goodbye, thank you, and good luck.

- Nicole Dramesi is also gone. Geese has refused to answer me about where she was taken but assured me that we have seen the last of her in OG-Joshi or UBL. I do not know if I am relieved or scared for her but when I tried to contact Dizzy to inform her of her friend's abduction, she did not return my calls. So there's that.

- Alicia Gordon is suspended without pay. I try not to make any major decisions when angry so that is why I didn't outright fire her on the spot. I need some time to mull it over and quite honestly will be basing a lot of my decision on her upcoming LAWLiday match against Jenny McLanahan for the OMG Title. I want to see if Alicia Gordon still remembers why she is a professional wrestler.

We'll get to talking about those who DO remember why they're here in the next part of this Corner this week.

Actually, before we get to the fun part, let's get to some things that have troubled me over the past few months, even pre-dating Ragnarok. Given how busy things got in late November and December for us, I didn't have time to organize my thoughts until now. But events in OG-Joshi range much wider then what just occurred at Ragnarok and I need to address them.


- Firefly, you are rude and mistaken as to what you have said about me. I got appointed Coach through my hard work and dedication to this roster and views about pro wrestling. And if you are threatening me with violence despite me never doing anything to hurt you, then you are clearly part of the very problem you brought up. In fact, your recent message is as corrupt and wayward as anything that Holly has ever said before. Let's just hope you regain your senses and reflect properly on my behavior before you do anything similar to what she has actually done in the name of her twisted philosophy. You won't find anyone on this roster who has been more disgusted by her actions then your Coach so why punish me for what she did? I'll give you a chance to think it over. Provided you don't act on your threats, you may continue your rivalry with Heather Heaton at Amplitude and we can put this behind us.

- Miss Asako Matsuki. I will not tolerate another "SHINO! Army" situation and it bothers me that your treatment of Yoshi Hattori is starting to resemble the way Shino and Hiromi harassed Naomi and Keina. I will not allow bullying no matter where it comes from: adversary, ally, or manager. Yoshi's performance at previous Voltages were by no means perfect. After all, who ever is perfect? But her victories deserved more accolades then criticism. You should be spending more time helping the challenged Narai Kaeo acclimate herself to different wrestling styles rather then harassing the increasingly successful and popular Yoshi.

- The Heckions. You are getting close to being on my watch list. I don't appreciate the way you have bullied our camera team or the things you have said about your opponents. I know they are just words and you haven't done anything illegal in or outside the ring. But what upsets me is that you both clearly have a lot of talent and now that you have moved beyond the 'Shino' and 'Hiromi' roles, I'd like to see that talent mixed with actual dignity in how you view yourselves and your fellow competitors. Take a page out of your former Army team mate's book, Naomi, and work hard to earn the respect of the locker room and fans.

- Lina, I'm sorry that you had to experience your fans temporarily losing their minds and sense of right and wrong during Amplitude last year. Minerva, I'm even sorrier that you had to be attacked as a result of that. I don't want to see fans get hurt but under the circumstances, I can understand the anger that your husband Athrin showed. He was there to protect you and once he neutralized the crowd jumper threat, he stopped his attack. That was the key to me. As violent as we've seen him get in UBL, I actually have to commend him for keeping his actions in check in protecting you. So there will be no ban on him here or penalty to either of you. The same goes for Lina as it was not her fault this happened.

That said, we can't have this happen again. Lina, you are one of my favorites to watch in the ring with how you energize the crowd but I will not be able to keep booking you if we see this again. This isn't your fault but anything you can do to calm your fans down would help you. And as to her fans in the L-Section or any section, please don't punish the wrestler you love by costing her opportunities to wrestle. She's a top contender for the Amplitude Title but if her fans can't control themselves during a regular encounter, how can I put her in a Title match without expecting a total riot? Lina, I'll work with you here and do what I can but we have to ensure the safety of our wrestlers and peaceful, behaving fans before we risk another crowd-jumping incident. I'm considering ways to keep you active while diluting the effect you have on the crowd just for everyone's safety.

Just as I was ready to get to the fun part of this corner, this weekend brought us Emperor's Lament. I don't have much time to follow FPCPP, although I hear their joshi division is growing which I'll be keeping an eye on, but Drake told me what happened to Geese. The fact is that Geese has always been kind to me and I am crushed that he was hurt, especially during a speech that really moved me. I hope you're ok, Geese. But I'm going to do what you always told me to do and carry on with business here.

*Deep breath*

So let's get to the fun part of this Corner.

- Visper Karr, Eris Byrne, and the Reed Sisters. Bravo. You all once again proved to the world not only why you wear those Championship belts around your waist, but why they are coveted by everyone else on the roster: Because of your efforts and those who have come before you. And that sentiment goes equally for Kat Black, Gutter, and yes, even the Dods. Without your high level of competition trying to earn those Titles, they would have no meaning. Every single one of you performed at a level that stole the show for OG-Joshi. I could not thank you enough and neither can the fans. I was informed that the online voting for "Match of the Night" had OG-Joshi dwarfing UBL by a landslide and our Title matches were definitely the reason.

- My favorite moment of the night was Naomi becoming Tigress Mask II. You've come a long way, my friend. Everyone is rooting for you to be the best you can be and you're doing just that. There wasn't a dry eye in the house when you put that mask on.

- I'd like to take a moment to welcome Luke Kisiera to OG-Joshi. He is my new secretary and personal security guard. He is also a UBL wrestler so I would think twice before storming into my office whether you intend violence or not. Special advice to Naomi and Keina: just don't run in so fast and loud and there won't be any problem. Just assume...uh, "pizza snack night" and knock first.

Luke also entertained me on commentary and I am considering making him the new host of Amplitude. However if he is doing commentary then I will have to make alternate arrangements for security during those shows. The bad news for those who dislike me is that alternative arrangements mean Goro Yamashita or Marauder. So...don't make things personal, girls.


- The full schedules for the first Voltage and Amplitude are now posted. Once we see how those go and who is practicing the right behavior, we can continue from there. I do have some exciting news coming up for Amplitude but I'd like the wrestlers there to first work past some of their rivalries dating back to last year. Once everyone is free and clear, we can move forward.

Voltage fans, you're in for a treat as the promise I made at Ragnarok will indeed occur. Kat Black will get a World Title rematch with Visper Karr in the main event of the February Voltage!! And one of the following shows will bring the promised Team Chuu Chuu shot against the OG-Joshi Tag Champions, the Reed Sisters. Title shots are not limited to PPV's and special shows so if you can impress me, I'll reward you any time I can with a Championship match. That goes for everyone here.

Let's make 2011 an even better year then 2010 and keep the momentum of Illumination and Ragnarok!
