OG-Joshi Amplitude: September 2010 - "Time to go to school, Woo!"
Location: The Amplitheater, Peter Venkman Memorial Arena, NY.
The show starts and Inza G. comes out to VERY heavy fan applause for our first match of the night. She is accompanied by Holly (herself greeted with heavy fan 'reaction' that isn't quite applause) who is giving her a pep talk..er pep slap on the butt. Multiple ones. But is it really a slap if she doesn't let go right away? Deep questions for Inza to ponder later. In the meantime, she looks very motivated and appears to be responding well to what Holly is saying despite the fact she's also pretty much copping a feel. Lisa Robinson comes out next and immediately starts going after Holly, who gets behind Inza (either to hide from Lisa or to keep touching Inza?). Lisa has been nursing a grudge with Holly for over three years ever since Holly had Lisa attacked on Voltage to advance her own agenda. However Lisa has never really gotten a chance to get a 1 on 1 match with Holly for various reasons, so facing her current student is a chance to her to get even to some degree. Lisa has already picked up one victory over Inza at the recent Orochi-O's TV and she is clearly trying to lord it over Holly. However Holly shouts to Lisa: "How's your brother's unemployment going?" This does not sit well and Lisa responds by punching Inza in the face.

After a very hard fought match where Lisa busted Inza G. open with various forks, Inza was able to hit her finisher for the win. But Holly is none too pleased at the abuse she took at the hands of Lisa, who almost won the match by faking out the referee with a chair! As Holly helps Inza up the ramp, Lisa is seen smiling and wanting more. This appears to be far from over.
Inza G. (O) ["Cherry Popper" - 13:12] (X) Lisa Robinson
And right now we have Juli Tanaka making her long awaited return to the ring, after an injury sustained in FPCPP by Jakob of Furis, to a tremendous showing of support from the crowd. She is teamed with Kristin Blade who is a friend of hers since their work together in the McPro promotion. Kristin had a lot of momentum in OG-Joshi before Jenna Stone beat her at Renaissance to win that spot in the Battle Royale. Since then, Kristin has been quiet but hopes to get a rally going here with the returning energy of Juli. Sako and Hae Won come out to molten heat after what they did to Yuri and Yaoi at the August Amplitude. It's shocking that Yaoi is even able to compete in the main event tonight considering the beating she and her partner sustained at the last show. Sako gets a microphone:
[Sako:] "Well at least we got more serious competition this time."
[Hae-Won:] "An injured wrestler and one who's done nothing for a year?
[Sako:] "Come on - it's a step up from Youch and Yurine."
Hae Won shrugs and the two get into the ring. Hae-Won blows a snot rocket at Juli and that is enough to start the festivities here as Juli goes after her only for Sako to intercept. Hae-Won laughs and goes to her corner as Juli and Sako start the match.
Match #2: Juli Tanaka/Kristin Blade vs. Sako Dasumi/Hae Won

And it looks like the former bullies of "SHINO Army" now mean more business then ever before. Kristin Blade is on the mat knocked out after that "Wanton Kick" and Hae-Won and Sako are looking out to the crowd, proving to them, and the locker room, that the fun and games are over. Juli and Kristin put up a helluva fight as they always do, but with Juli returning from injury and Kristin having a long break since her last match, they weren't as well oiled a machine as Sako and Hae-Won.
Juli/Kristin (X) ["Wanton Kick" - 25:55] (O) Hae-Won/Sako
As Hae-Won and Sako walk back up the ramp, familiar music starts up. Music that has played a hundred times for them but this time, it's not theirs. It belongs to their former teammate, Keina, who now comes out to ringside. There's a staredown and you can see Keina trying to keep her emotions in check as she puts on as stoic a look as she can. However, one tear rolls down in spite of her efforts, and Hae-Won and Sako just smirk and shoulder their way past her, knocking her back a bit. However, before Keina can get too upset, the crowd comes to her rescue with signs saying: "We still love KENTA!" and "Keina's heart lives on!". Keina gives a quick "1-2-3 KENTA!" which gets the crowd further into it and she gets into the ring.
And we are next joined by Eris Byrne, the recently crowned OG-Joshi Amplitude Champion, who is set to face Keina in this non-title match. Eris appears disinterested in Keina's fan interaction and demands that the referee hold the ropes open for her as she enters the ring. Keina doesn't know how to respond to this but holds her hand out for a shake with Eris. Eris looks at the hand, shakes her own head in disgust and slaps away Keina's offering while laughing at her. Let's get to the match!

Keina just gave the best effort of her career and came within milliseconds of defeating the Amplitude Champion! But Eris showed her resilience and reached down to finish Keina off with the Ravenstone Tombstone, her finisher and the most feared move on the Amplitude roster. But you have to respect what Keina did here and how she has rebounded from the dissolution of KENTA! Army.
Keina (X) ["Ravenstone" - 16:13] (O) Eris Byrne
And now it's time for the main event which is a Battle Royale consisting of members of the best and most established teams of OG-Joshi. There will be another Battle Royale on Voltage and each team's members are split into the two Battle Royales. The winner of Battle Royale 1 will have her team face the team of the winner of Battle Royale 2 to determine the new #1 Contender for the OG-Joshi Tag Team Championship. The last occasion where so many teams has had such a short road to the Titles was in the initial Tag Team Championship coronation tournament years ago so no one wants to squander this chance.
Jenny McLanahan comes down first. Her J*NiGHT team were the former Champions before the Reed Sisters beat them at Illumination. She and Kaori are also just coming off at loss at the August Amplitude against Chanel Melendez and Lorelai. And Chanel just happens to come out next as Jenny eyes her. Teresa Tanaka is next and looks Chanel up and down. These two women are no strangers to each other in the ring. And then, Jane Dod, who points to Jenny's waist and laughs at the lack of Title. No love lost there. Kellie Boone is out next and looks really happy to be here and have this opportunity. The same goes for Valencia Cruz who just wrestled an incredible match at Voltage against Tigerfly Sword. Darkness Diva is literally kicked onto the ramp by her partner Yoyo Banzai, and then we see Yaoi walking slowly to the ring after the assault she suffered at the August Amplitude. All eight wrestlers are here and are ready to go!

Y(a)ou gotta hand it to Yaoi who gave an extraordinary performance given the beating at the last show and the level of competition here. To outlast and defeat so many top wrestlers, in a row no less, is an accomplishment but Jane Dod was unimpressed and won decisively with that violent finisher of hers.
Order of Elimination:
Jane Dod (O) ["Dod-DT" - 11:46] (X) DARKNESS Diva
Chanel Melendez (O) [La Majistral - 13:52] (X) Valencia Cruz
Yaoi (O) [Rolling Heel Hook - 20:00] (X) Chanel Melendez
Yaoi (O) [Rear Naked Choke - 20:10] (X) Jenny McLanahan
Yaoi (O) [Rolling Heel Hook - 23:41] (X) Kellie Boone
Jane Dod (O) [German Suplex - 23:0] (X) Teresa Tanaka
Jane Dod (O) ["Dod-DT" - 16:13] (X) Yaoi
Winner: Jane Dod of the Dod Squod
We will find out who the Dod Squod faces for the Title shot when the second Battle Royale occurs next month at Voltage! And join us at the next Amplitude in October where the #1 Contender to the Amplitude Championship will be decided between Gutter and Jenna Stone!
