Eris Byrne: Illumination

Fade in in the parking lot behind the Peter Venkman Arena. Pacing restlessly in front of the camera is none other than the (self-proclaimed) Goddess of Chaos herself – Eris Byrne.
Eris: ”The Amplitude Championship. This summer will see the first champion crowned, and who else could it be but me – Eris Byrne?”
Stopping, she shifts our attention to a poster on the wall behind her, a poster for the summer's Illumination PPV. She turns to glance at it for a moment before facing the camera once more.
Eris: ”I will be facing Jenna Stone for the title. But Jenna, do you really believe that anyone thinks you can beat me?” Eris gestures to the black and purple Amplitude belt displayed on the poster. ”Look at it... that belt was practically designed for me.”
Eris turns towards us and smirks at the camera, head held high.
Eris: ”Not to mention, some of us had to earn the right to fight for it. You, on the other hand, conveniently had someone interfere and attack you... someone who was clearly more interested in attacking your opponent.”
Pausing for a moment, Eris glances over at the picture of the Amplitude belt once more.
Eris: ”I suppose I should feel safer now that Mic Girl put some new rules in place to stop people like you from gaining easy victories. Now, the title will be fought over as it should, and go to she who is the most deserving.”
Eris: ”Illumination comes, and Amplitude will be bathed in the light of chaos as the reign of the goddess begins...”
Fade out.
