From: Coach Carter, of course!
To: OG-Joshi wrestlers and fans
Subject: Amplitude, Illumination, match interference.
First I wanted to thank everyone who showed me support at Amplitude! I want to be the best Coach I can be and doing it with your confidence is key! We may not always agree but please believe me when I say that no one is a bigger fan of OG-Joshi then I am and that goes for its wrestlers and fans. In fact, even if I don't get along with all the wrestlers, every one of them has something about them I respect. I hope that we can have a good relationship that focuses on the positive and moves OG-Joshi forwards.
Overall, this week's Amplitude was a great start. Just about everyone was on their best behavior and wrestled really hard to show what they could do and entertain the fans.
Of course, I was very unhappy with the actions of Shino and have decided to give Naomi a chance shut her up through her growing in ring abilities. If Naomi can beat Shino at Illumination, then Shino no longer has any claim on her as part of Shino Army. There's no other stipulation here if Shino wins. I simply will not force a wrestler to be part of a group they don't want to. So sorry Shino, your only chance to get Naomi back is by convincing her it's the right thing to do. If you use violence or threats, security will step in. As for Keina, I really don't know what side you are on. If you want to be free from Shino, I can make that happen too. But as I am still figuring out what your dealie is, both you and Hiromi are banned from ringside during this match. To be fair, I will say the same about Ayame even though I know she wouldn't interfere.
There's one more match I want to make for Illumination after what happened at Amplitude. Tigerfly Sword and Gabriella Breeze put on quite a match and it looked like Sword was finally getting momentum but Gabi was too much for her. I know there's some bad blood there even though no one did anything wrong, but the fans loved the match so much that it's only right to give them another chance to see it. I also know how hard Tigerfly has worked since getting to OG-Joshi as well as the fact that the Royal Deities were waiting a long time for their spot on the roster. Gabi has taken the initiative for them and her reward is the first spot on a PPV for one of the Deities. So this completes the list of matches for the Illumination PPV:

I also realize that there is a bit of an imbalance between the Voltage and Amplitude roster so I want to remind everyone that changes will start to be made. If there's one thing that being a Secretary for UBL has prepared me for, it's trying to make sense out of hundreds of wrestlers in different places on the roster! (sorry Drake!) Thankfully our situation is much more under control and over the next few months I will be looking to see which show is the best fit for each individual wrestler and team. For those on Voltage that end up on Amplitude, don't see it as a demotion as much as a new opportunity to face some very hungry new wrestlers looking to prove themselves. For those on Amplitude that end up on Voltage, don't let it go to your head because you'll have plenty of rivals looking to turn your confidence against you.
The last thing I want to talk about is physical interference in matches and new rules for OG-Joshi. Two Amplitudes ago, someone from the crowd named Judy Bones decided to punish Gutter by, among other things, attacking Jenna Stone. This caused Gutter to get disqualified even though she didn't WANT Jenna attacked. And something similar happened...and kept happening...and happened for like two years during the UBL Battalion League. I know cause I was there watching it and complaining.
Listen, we can't just have people manipulating other people's match ups. It's way too easy and unfair to just attack the opponent of your enemy to get your enemy disqualified! And while it's up to Drake, and Geese, to make that rule in UBL, Geese said I could make my own rule here.
For now on, if you are on the roster and you interfere in a match, you're gonna get punished:
- If you have a title shot or a #1 contender shot, you're gonna lose it.
- If you are the champion, you'll be forced to defend your title on the next show against someone I choose.
- If you're just generally on the roster, you'll get suspended for 2 formal Voltage or Amplitude shows (and not be allowed to appear on O's TV til your suspension is over).
- And if you aren't on the roster, you won't get to be on it by interfering. You have a problem with someone that wrestles here, then you come to me and convince me you belong here. Why would I want you to be here if you already have no respect for the wrestlers, management, and the audience?
As for the wrestlers already in the ring during an interference, the match will end in an automatic draw. No one should benefit from a match ending like that. It doesn't help OG-Joshi as a whole or your legitimacy, whether you planned it or not. So you will get a rematch at the next show. If I find out that someone in the match set up the interference, you will be subject to the same rules I stated above. You are just as guilty!
We can't let people just go around willy-nilly messing with how we do things. I wish Celes had already made this rule but I guess she thought she could control people on a case by case basis. But you know, we really need to make this perfectly clear to everyone that there will be repercussions if you mess up the ONE thing this promotion is meant to do - put on excellent and fair matches.
That's what the people and I want to see. That's what Geese wants to see. And that's what the majority of the wrestlers backstage have come here to do. So let's make it happen!
This is Coach Carter wishing you all a good game!!
