Revenge is a dish best served on the side

[OrochiGeese]

*We see Holly in an unfamiliar training area. It doesn't appear to be in the Orochi-O's Inc. Building or in the Peter Venkman Memorial Arena so we can presume it's in a hidden base provided by Genji Security. She is laying into a heavy bag that has the face of OG-Joshi World Champion Visper Karr on one side and LAWL OMG Jenny McLanahan on the other. Her pace and rage intensifies as she has two TV's next to her, one with footage from Renaissance and another from DeLAWLiday. She is getting to the end of both matches and her face is red and twisted as she begins kneeing the bag where one's crotch would be...just as the bell rings in each match. Right then, she goes to bite it when a voice comes from behind her.*

"Holly?"

[Holly:] "Not no-"

*Holly recognizes the voice and turns around, seeing it's her brother Kyle. His own facial reaction to her facial expression causes her to try to compose herself. She shuts off the TV's.*

[Holly:] "Sorry-"

[Kyle:] "You don't need to apologize, sis. I know it's been...a tough month."

[Holly:] "I don't like you seeing me like this but I need- I need to work harder then ever. What was mine has been taken. Not just my Title, but my very identity as Champion."

[Kyle:] "You'll always be my sis."

*A smile cracks onto Holly's serious face.*

[Holly:] "I know but - in the ring. Kyle, I was Champion for 3 years - I RULED this world."

[Kyle:] "You still do. Your loss was a fluke and your shoulder wasn't healed by DeLAWLiday. We all know it."

[Holly:] "I shouldn't have fought Jenny til I felt better. I was just....so *grits her teeth* ANGRY about losing to Visper that I wasn't thinking straight. Geese tried to convince me to wait til I was healed but I wouldn't have it. Still, it's not enough to rationalize a defeat, I have to make it right."

[Kyle:] "Well I don't wanna get in the way of your training but well, I'm here about me."

*Holly moves over to him and puts her hand on his shoulder, looking concerned.*

[Holly:] "Are you ok?"

[Kyle:] "Oh yeah, nothing bad. It's just that - well, Geese told me to talk to you about this cause I didn't like his answer and he thought only you could make me understand it."

[Holly:] "You always have my full attention, Kyle."

*The two sit down in nearby chairs.*


[Kyle:] "That Battle Royale-"

[Holly:] "Yeah! Yanno? I don't know what happened there, myself! You had like two days warning before it occurred. I know Geese likes doing business with other promotions but it would have been nice if you had more notice to train and come up with a plan to beat the shit out of Jason Hyde without getting in trouble!"

*Holly laughs*

[Kyle:] "No no, it's not that. I didn't mind the short notice. And well, I don't even mind Jason anyway. In fact, when he had his problem with Geese, he was just sticking up for and protecting his sister. I know how that is, after all. My problem isn't with him or anyone in the match."

[Holly:] "Ok-"

[Kyle:] "I didn't want to be in the match at all, in fact."

[Holly:] "If you would have won and advanced in the Tournament, you'd have been the new DragonHeart Champion. You haven't won a singles title yet and that would have been a great one to start with."

[Kyle:] "It's a distraction. No disrespect to Dragon Pro or Marauder or anything but sis, I got one mission now. Take out Jeremiah Jones. I don't want Geese or Drake putting me in any more matches til I retire Jones and make an example out of him of what happens when someone hurts you."

*Holly sighs deeply, looks at her brother and seems visibly upset.*

[Kyle:] "What's wrong?"

[Holly:] "I've been so happy the last few years that you're wrestling and part of our team, but...I guess I just haven't fully realized the toll it's taken on you. This isn't you, Kyle."

[Kyle:] "Whaddya mean?"

[Holly:] "Revenge - it doesn't look good on you. And it doesn't look good on anyone when it's all they wear. I see now why Geese sent you to me. We definitely need to talk."

[Kyle:] "Jones put his hands on you-"

[Holly:] "What he did to me was in the bottom 50 things on the list of how people have mistreated me."

[Kyle:] "That doesn't make it right! He should pay!"

[Holly:] "And he will. I already told you that you can do what you have to do and I won't stand in the way of a match but what I'm telling you now is that it can't be ALL you do. The fact is Kyle, you can't get consumed by revenge against everyone who have wronged me or will wrong me or will wrong you. As angry as Geese and I can get at people, even we don't let our primary motivation be revenge."

[Kyle:] "Geese has done some pretty bad things to people."

[Holly:] "Yeah and he'll continue to. But to many of those people, what would upset them most is to know he really didn't care all that much about them. They were in his way, that's all. Everyone he hurt, I mean REALLY hurt, were not only in his way but annoyed him in some manner. And there are a very very select few people who have truly irritated him. I only need one hand to count them all. But even when he plots revenge on people like them, he does it with a greater eye towards his own success. That's the key to Geese. Even at his angriest, his most chaotic, he has his eyes on a material prize. A championship or some other objective achievement. And really, most opponents of Geese are usually not in harm's way, relatively."

[Kyle:] "With those moves of his, anyone is-"

[Holly:] "He only uses them fully when he's REALLY angry. Hell, look at the Midnight Hamburglar."

[Kyle:] "...Midnight Rambler?"

[Holly:] "Sure sure, him too. The Hamburglar had the FPCPP Championship but he didn't try to attack Geese or really mouth off to him. Geese beat him but didn't hurt him. That's cause Geese isn't motivated by revenge but personal success. That FPCPP Championship, any real world championship is his highest goal in this business. And if he can get it without destroying someone's spinal cord, most of the time he will. If not, so be it. But the point is - he doesn't live for revenge. And I don't anymore either."

[Kyle:] "Anymore?"

[Holly:] "When I started to wrestle, really started to wrestle, my only reason was to get revenge on Jo Ryder. That's what got me serious in training sessions. And the thing is, the first few times I faced her, I lost. You know why? Cause all I had on my mind was bringing HER down, not raising ME up. It was Geese that clarified that for me and once I realized that, I not only beat Jo, but I broke her control of me."

[Kyle:] "You...you were controlled by her even years after you left South Dakota?"

[Holly:] "I was controlled by my desire to hurt her. It wasn't an conscious effort by her any more, but it was a vestige of what she did to me and what I allowed her to do to me. But Geese asked me who I lived for - did I live for Jo or myself. And once I finally realized that it was ME who needed to get the victory more then Jo who had to get the defeat, I was actually able to beat her. But to get that far, I realized it was no longer about her, and then I was able to turn myself into something worthwhile."

[Kyle:] "You were always worthwhile!"

[Holly:] "Not to myself I wasn't. Not until Geese helped me see what I truly had to gain by losing my revenge as the primary motive to beat her. As the primary motive to LIVE. And ever since then, as angry as I've gotten at specific opponents, as much as it seems I live to torment them, it's not true. I only truly care about 3 people right now. And the fact that one of them is me has allowed me to become the person I am."

[Kyle:] "I guess I see."

[Holly:] "Kyle - it's in your blood too and not just cause you're my brother. But growing up, you always tried to be the best at whatever sport you wanted to play. Not to spite anyone else, but for your own enjoyment. That's what I'm telling you here. There will always be pissants like Jones - but there's only ONE Kyle. And the only way to make that Kyle the best he can be is to focus on achievement, not revenge. That means that Jones can't be your primary goal. Your own success has to be."

[Kyle:] "But hurting me is his primary goal."

[Holly:] "Wheeling Dizzy around and cleaning up her drool is."

[Kyle:] "Ouch."

*Holly purses her lips as if she knows she said something too mean and laughs it off.*

[Holly:] "See how ugly a remark that was? You want to turn into someone who says and believes stuff like that ALL the time? I can make a joke or two cause I don't really CARE about Dizzy. I never did. If HAWT*Wing hadn't been such an impediment to my total control, I wouldn't have taken Dizzy out. She was a road block that I cleared and nothing more. That's what Jones has to be for you. Don't make it too personal, Kyle. And the best way for you to avoid doing that is to give attention to your own success through other matches this year. Geese really was proud of your efforts in the SCW Trios Tournament. And if there are any other Title shots, take them. Cause your first priority HAS to be your own success."

[Kyle:] "I understand but-"

[Holly:] "Geese said something to me, Kyle, and it has stuck with me ever since. If the only thing you have to shoot for is revenge, this business will eat you alive from the inside out."

*Kyle looks on silently, brushing his fingers through his hair while thinking. After a few minutes pass by...*

[Kyle:] "Is that so? *Kyle smirks* Well, maybe it's time you stop watching them tapes, ditch your feud with LAWL, and start training to get your OG-Joshi World Championship back."

*Holly is taken by surprise but then smiles and nods.*

[Holly:] "I think that's the best idea I've heard all week."

*Holly rips the photos off the heavy bag, kicks the TV's over, and begins training in a more controlled manner as Kyle holds the heavy bag for her. Promo ends as we see Agent 0 looking on at their training.*
