::Gutter was in the back reading a Curious George book, when Jean Carter entered the locker room::
Carter: Hi there! How's the book?
Gutter: I think I'm getting the hang of these now... can I try something else next time?
Carter: Sure! Ooh, you should TOTALLY read Nancy Drew! But there's something I need to talk to you about... I'm doing your taxes, and I need to know... what do you spend your money on?
Gutter: Buh?
Carter: Well, you need to give some money to the IRS, and the more things I can have written off as expenses, the less money you owe! Let's see... I got your gas budget figured out and that's written-off, your food budget, and you spend fifteen dollars a week buying CDs... but you make a LOT of money, Gutter... where does it all GO? I mean, you're not buying new clothes... are you giving it to charity? ...No of course not...
Gutter: Charity?
Carter: You know, donating money to places like, say, Big Brothers...
Gutter: Big Brothers? Yeah, I give to that.
Carter: Wait WHAT? Gutter, I'm so PROUD of you! You've gone a long way! How much?
Gutter: ...All of it.
Carter: ...ALL OF IT? Wow. I mean... it's a really super nice gesture and all, but why all of it? You don't want a house or a better car or new clothes?
Gutter: I don't need that ("split"). I got all I need.
Carter: Okay... but can I ask... why?
Gutter: Look, I don't like the way I live. I hate it. It's miserable, I'm always miserable. But you know what, Carter? I can handle with it. I'm used to it. But I don't want anyone to go through what I've gone through. That's why I do it.
*Carter goes to give Gutter a hug, but Gutter puts her hands up and Carter backs up*
Carter: You know, I'm sure fans will love you once they hear about...
Gutter: No! I mean... I don't want that. I want... I need to be hated... I dont want people to like me... I mean, besides you of course.
Carter: But why? I mean, everyone likes being liked!
Gutter: It's complicated... look, I don't want to talk about it...
Carter: Okay, fair enough. I'll go get the paperwork done, then we can go to the bookstore together! Brb!
*Carter heads out to the lockerroom, then to the hallways, but stops at a familiar voice from the shadows*
Clyde: ...I don't believe it.
Carter: Someone owes me a coke!
