*It's around mid-day Monday and Jean Carter is hopping around the OG-Joshi wing of the Peter Venkman Memorial arena with her to-do list in hand.*

[MJC:] "Ooh, gotta help get Amplitude ready. Find out where Mr. Kisiera went to. Call up Dr. Schassborg...berg...the doctor to see if Furis is ready to be visited. Oh my, what a day!"

*Jean stops short suddenly when she peers around the corner and sees Alicia Gordon looking at the bulletin board. She takes a few silent steps back. An odd look appears on Jean's face, not quite a frown but an indescribable look of discomfort. She begins to back-peddle but Alicia calls out.*

[Alicia:] "Leaving so soon, Carter?"

*Jean blushes, knowing Alicia saw her. She peers around the corner and smiles...slowly walking to talk.*

[MJC:] "Oh I was just..."

[Alicia:] "Trying to avoid me?"

[MJC:] "No well, why would I...well, kinda...I know you don't like to talk to the press."

[Alicia:] "You're not press anymore, at least not in OG-Joshi."

[MJC:] "True but....I was just running errands and didn't want to bother you. I know you don't come by so often since you're in Californy most of the time..."

[Alicia:] "I'm only in NY cause Sabanim just had his match at the Open Show and Thunder and I went to support him. I figured I'd come by here to see if there were any news. As for you, the only way you can really bother me is to disrespect me...you know, like by not looking at me when we're talking."

*Jean gulps and blushes again. She looks up but still not really at Alicia.*

[Alicia:] "Listen...I'm not here to win any popularity contests, I really don't care who likes me or doesn't. But if you have something to say to me, SAY IT."

[MJC:] "Um, what would I have to say to you?"

*Alicia gets a little closer to Jean, sorta cornering her against the bulletin board.*

[Alicia:] "You were always friendly to me up until the OG-FPD 4th Anniversary PPV. I'm not stupid. It's clear to me why you want nothing to do with me. I'd just like you to have the guts to actually say it to my face."

*Jean frowns and she looks away again.*

[Alicia:] "I didn't want to see it happen to her either but it wasn't my fault. At first I though it was but-"

*Jean raises her voice.*

[MJC:] "Just STOP, I don't want to talk about it! Or to YOU."

*Jean goes to walk away but Alicia gets in her way*

[Alicia:] "One day you'll have to confront it AND me."

*At that, another woman comes into the hallway, Gutter. She takes out a switchblade.*

[Gutter:] "I'll give you something to CONFRONT if you don't back the (rhymes with "DUCK") UP!"

[MJC:] "Oh am I glad to see you. I...

[Gutter:] "got into trouble?"

[Alicia:] "No trouble here. Just a friendly little talk."

[MJC:] "... it's over now. Nothing more to say about it."

*Gutter turns to Alicia*

[Gutter:] "Then why are YOU still here?"

[Alicia:] "I have business with Celes to attend to."

*Gutter turns around for a second and then back to Alicia.*

[Gutter:] "She ain't here, I just checked. You can leave now."

[Alicia:] "I think I'll double-check, thanks for the help. Always a pleasure."

*Alicia begins to walk away*

[Gutter:] "Pleasure's all mine, just wish you had another title for me to take away."

*Gutter smirks as Alicia freezes in place. After a few seconds she shakes her head and continues walking. Gutter looks disappointed while but Jean's expression is unreadable. After a few seconds, she perks up.*

[MJC:] "Can you let me take you to Bennigans for lunch now?"

[Gutter:] "Yeah, let's go."

*Scene fades*
