[Interviewer]: It has been a long time and perhaps too long, but it’s never too late. Talking for the first time on camera since her injury, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome NDP’s first ever Light-Heavyweight Champion, Kristin Blade!
[Kristin]: It has been awhile and I’m sure that everybody… Well, I can think of one that wouldn’t, but I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who are wondering what happened to Kristin Blade.
[Interviewer]: One? Who might that be?
[Kristin]: Oh, it’s nothing to be concern about, let’s just say she still thinks she is a princess. *laughs*
[Interviewer]: Ah, ok, let’s move on. Kristin, before you got injured, you were on the top of your game, beating opponents left and right and then capping it off by being the first ever NDP Light-Heavyweight Champion. But, that’s when all the rising stopped and you drove right into a wall. There were some things that happened to you that led to your downfall. First, the controversy between you and Aika after you crushed Megan Clinton with Colleen Dramesi and Roselyn Pride in the Devil’s Angels. Then you were dragged into the intense rivalry between Roselyn Pride and Jo Ryder where Roselyn held you hostage because you became a close friend of Jo. You were then indirectly raped by Kazen of Sin-Bound. Then of course, who wouldn’t remember what happened on the night where you lost your Light-Heavyweight Championship title to Akira Blaze. Princess Aika with the now Flash Sensei led an ambush resulting in you getting knocked out for months, but you disappeared for over a year until recently you reappeared in McPro.
[Kristin]: Stop. You’re making me dizzy.
Kristin starts to rub her head remembering the horrific night. The multiple chair shots to the head by Aika, being irish whipped into a shining wizard, and then being held up by the electric chair just to get knocked down again by a DEMOLITION-DEVICE-STYLE SHINING WIZARD. Kristin then moves her hand away from her head and starts rubbing her cheek remembering the hundred hands slap to the face by Aika before getting knocked over in the stretcher.
[Kristin]: That was… harsh.
[Interviewer]: Yeah, how you got ambushed by Aika and—
[Kristin]: No, that wasn’t it. You just told me everything that went wrong in my wrestling career, and I did not have a particular long wrestling career to begin with.
[Interviewer]: I was just doing my-
[Kristin]: I know, I know, you’re just doing your job and I did things that I’m not proud of, but please try to tone my negative moments down. Okay?
[Interviewer]: Um ok Kristin. There are many people out there wondering what happened to Kristin Blade after the injury because your injuries should’ve only put you out for a few months, but you ended up disappearing for over a year. Care to explain?
[Kristin]: Yeah it’s true that my injuries should’ve only put out for a few months, but management wanted me to improve on my skills some more. I wasn’t the most experienced wrestler out there at the time; I was even being trained during my run for the Light-Heavyweight championship title by Jo Ryder. My first stop was in Mexico and at first I thought it was a huge mistake. I did not know anyone going in, there was a language barrier, and plus, I’m a woman so that made it even harder to prove myself. Eventually, everything settled in and going to Mexico was one of the best learning experiences that I’ve had.
I then traveled around the world trying to gain any additional skills that I can gather. Traveled to places such as Europe, but wrestling skills was not the only thing that I was looking for, I was also trying to look for my brother.
[Interviewer]: You have a brother?
[Kristin]: Yeah, I’m sure you heard of him? Lance Blade?
[Interviewer]: Uh, can’t say I have.
[Kristin]: You haven’t? Lance Blade from M-DWF and FPN?
[Interviewer]: I know of M-DWF and FPN, but not Lance Blade.
[Kristin]: Um, well, I have a brother and his name is Lance Blade and he’s the reason I chose to get into wrestling in the first place. One reason, I thought I would bump into him if I tried wrestling, but I had no luck. Now he’s gone off somewhere.
[Interviewer]: Why are you looking for him? Why did he disappear?
[Kristin]: Um…That’s a little difficult to answer. We haven’t actually met each other before.
[Interviewer]: What? You haven’t met before? Are you even sure he’s your brother?
[Kristin]: It’s a really complicated story and I don’t think right now is the time to unfold the story to everyone. But I’ll say this; he was already gone when I was born. I can’t say any more so lets move on to the next subject.
[Interviewer]: Touchy subject, but we’ll move on. What’s in the future for Kristin Blade? Are you going to return to NDP?
[Kristin]: Returning to NDP is definitely a possibility; I can’t just leave the place that gave me my first shot just like that. Right now though, I’ll have to rebuild myself from the ground up. I’ve started to rebuild myself in McPro and now I think I’m a regular now for OG-Joshi Amplitude.
[Interviewer]: Yeah, have you heard about what everyone is saying in OG-Joshi about you!?
[Kristin]: Um…
[Interviewer]: Everyone is saying that you’re A LOT like Dizzy. The type of style and energy you show in the ring and—
[Kristin]: …yeah I heard a lot about Dizzy, but—
[Interviewer]: Yeah! The comparisons between you and Dizzy are—
[Kristin]: But, I’m not like Dizzy.
[Interviewer]: No way, don’t be modest! Dizzy is an amazing wrestler and being compared to her is—
[Kristin]: I have to go; you’re making me dizzy again…
[Interviewer]: See! It seems like the word “dizzy” is even in your daily vocabulary.
[Kristin]: Ugh…
Kristin starts walking away.
[Interviewer]: Wait Kristin! Where are you going? This interview isn’t over yet.
Kristin continues to walk away mumbling something to herself
[Kristin]: ...I’m not like Dizzy. And I did not get raped by Kazen…I’m still a virgin.
[Kristin]: It has been awhile and I’m sure that everybody… Well, I can think of one that wouldn’t, but I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who are wondering what happened to Kristin Blade.
