The Night After

[OrochiGeese]

*It is late at night, twenty four hours after the September Voltage. General Celes is sitting in her office when the door suddenly opens. A very angry OrochiGeese storms in and begins to open his mouth in what appears to be a forceful admonition. Celes immediately gets out of her chair and marches across the room. She swings her hand in anticipation of slapping Geese and he looks on in shock.*

[Celes:] "THAT will be for the disrespect you have just shown me and have planned to further demonstrate. Now, listen carefully. If you have any designs for discussing things rationally and productively, you'll sit in that chair right now. Otherwise, just fire me now and get it over with. But if I hear one word from YOU blaming me for what happened, you will have a new bruise to go along with those scars."

*Celes points to Geese's forehead.*

[Celes:] "Sit down, Geese."

[Geese:] "The patience i have with you is staggering..."

[Celes:] "Likewise. Now sit down."

*Geese does the same and sits across from Celes as she goes back to her desk.*

[Celes:] "Now we can go back and forth screaming at each other but it's not gonna help the situation."

[Geese:] "Yes, you can afford your poise right now. I would also be calm and content-"

[Celes:] "If you think for ONE SECOND that what happened last night was to my liking, you are GRAVELY mistaken. Geese...OG-Joshi Voltage is my project and I've made it my lifeblood for these last two years. You, on the other hand, only check in and show your face when your precious champion is in trouble."

[Geese:] "That's not true at all-"

[Celes:] "You've shown it to be so. Now, understand THIS- I had no idea or desire that Dizzy would be returning with...with that thing. I had no idea that Azumi Oonishi planned to use her challenge as a way to lure in Juli and Holly. And if I did...I would have put an immediate stop to it. What happened at Voltage was one of the most despicable and heart-wrenching situations I have ever witnessed."

[Geese:] "Please...like you didn't relish every second of that attack and Holly's reaction."

[Celes:] "I was too busy registering the morbid fact that Diane "Dizzy" Cavuto had just wished death on OG-Joshi, her old home and place she loved. I was too busy feeling sick to my stomach watching both her and Alicia Gordon, two friends of mine, become twisted individuals thanks to Holly. And finally, I was too busy making preparations to do my best to contain that MONSTER that Dizzy has unleashed on all us. So no, Geese...I didn't give Holly's reaction the slightest thought. I didn't laugh, I didn't smirk, I didn't even CARE about her. This isn't ABOUT Holly, it's NEVER been about Holly. This is about OG-Joshi."

[Geese:] "So what do you intend to do to protect it."

[Celes:] "I know you don't give a damn about the safety of anyone in OG-Joshi other then Holly. But it just so happens that your agenda and mine happen to have something in common."

*Geese's eyes light up*

[Geese:] "Is that so?"

[Celes:] "Nicole Dramesi has been brought in to destroy OG-Joshi and she will likely start at the top. OG-Joshi isn't about Holly, but Nicole's reason for being here is. However, I simply can not afford to have Nicole destroy Holly: at least not when she holds the OG-Joshi World Championship."

[Geese:] "Very pragmatic for an idealist such as yourself."

[Celes:] "My motivations are born from idealism. I can not have our World Championship, the title representative of all the BEST in OG-Joshi, fall to violence and CHAOS."

*Celes gives OG a sharp look which he just ignores*

[Celes:] "Visper Karr has worked her way up through OG-Joshi the RIGHT way. And when she beat Haley Cannon at the PPV, Visper earned that Title shot. I despise Holly but what would sicken me most would be to rob Visper of the chance to beat Holly the RIGHT way and become our deserved champion."

[Geese:] "You put your confidence in the wrong people, as the previous year has clearly demonstrated. However, I believe your motives to be honest and helpful to mine. That said, I question your means."

[Celes:] "After last night's show, Juli Krieger was a beast backstage. She was more enraged then we had ever seen her. She wants a piece of Nicole Dramesi and plans to destroy everyone in OG-Joshi HERSELF if she doesn't get Nicole in the ring. The fact is Geese, the only way to control Nicole and Juli right now is to give Nicole an OG-Joshi contract. I can keep her busy with Juli, to ensure Nicole doesn't get to Holly before Visper does. That won't be such a hard plan to engineer since Juli was technically the one to injure Dizzy. I am sure Nicole will not rest until she completely destroys Juli"

[Geese:] "And what happens if she does so.?"

[Celes:] "Then we re-convene to discuss the situation at that time. But I will personally ensure that Nicole does not get to Holly before Visper does, even if I have to stop Nicole with Clyde and Figaro..."

[Geese:] "No....even if I have to stop Nicole with Kyle and Genji Security. Yes, Celes, as long as Nicole Dramesi is here to wreak havoc on Holly, Genji Security will be present on shows."

[Celes:] "On one condition...they do more then just protect Holly, they protect ANYONE in the warpath of Nicole Dramesi and Juli Krieger. That goes for wrestlers, staff, ANYONE."

[Geese:] "Fine, if it means having your assistance for a change."

[Celes:] "Then that is all we have to discuss for the moment."

[Geese:] "It has been a rare pleasure seeing things from the same perspective as you..."

[Celes:] "No, Geese, not the same perspective. If Nicole didn't have her sights set on Holly, you wouldn't even be here right now. You'd have your head in the stars, or the moon, or wherever you are going."

*Geese gets up out of his chair and approaches the door. He turns and with a smile says*

[Geese:] "Quite true, and I'll be sure to send you a postcard when I get there."

*Geese leaves as Celes shakes her head in exasperation.*
