Handler Name/Aliases: OrochiGeese, Motosada (creator), etc.
Contact info: You know the drill.

Edit Name: Jean Carter
Nickname: Mean Jean/Coach
Height: 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm)
Weight: 103 pounds (47 kg)
Date Of Birth: 5/1/1985
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Character Alignment: Face
History:
(Non-kayfabe version: Jean Carter was actually created by Motosada to be an interviewer and was used by everyone that wanted to for interviews. She has since been somewhat co-opted by me for "meanin on up" story reasons but is still available for others to use upon request if it fits her new role)
Jean Carter arrived on the OG-Joshi scene in early 2007 and was quickly taken a liking to by Visper Karr who dubbed her "Mean" Jean. After gaining respect throughout OG-Joshi for her enthusiasm and work ethic, Jean was given double duty by Geese and thrust onto the UBL interviewing scene as well. Her continued success got her the job as the official host of OG-Joshi Amplitude and the various Universal Battle League shows.
Of note is that she is one of the only people in the Orochi-O's organization to be liked and respected by BOTH General Celes and OrochiGeese. As such, when it was time to choose Celes' eventual successor, Jean was immediately the leading contender. However, in order to prepare Jean for her potential future role of new General, she has had to recently give up her interviewing and hosting roles. While this is a source of sadness to Jean, she looked forward to challenges of being the understudy to both Celes AND UBL Sergeant Drake Yoshida (more the former then the latter).
Tensions between Geese and Celes finally boiled over during the March 2010 Voltage. Celes was fired after a fight with Holly and Jean was made the new leader of OG-Joshi, subject to Geese's oversight as Owner. Jean declined the "General" title and instead took on the less authoritative moniker of "Coach", wanting to help the roster reach their peak. Jean has spent her first year as Coach trying to get everyone fighting for the right reasons: competition and respect for the sport and each other. It has been difficult but she has persevered.
She has also gained the camaraderie of many of her fellow staff in UBL including Drake Yoshida, Goro Yamashita, and Luke Kisiera: the latter engaging her in a budding romantic relationship that everyone around them thinks is the amusing epitome of awkward young love.
Personality:
Despite her "mean" moniker, Jean is well renowned for being one of the most light-hearted, happy, charismatic, and patient individuals to work in a wrestling promotion probably EVER. She rarely utters a negative word about anyone and seems to get along with the majority of wrestlers. She is always happy to speak with her fans but is incredibly humble and considers herself to be 'one of the fans' as well. She places a very high premium on putting on a happy and energized face in front of the camera.
The only time that rule has ever been challenged was when Dizzy was injured at the 4 Year Anniversary PPV. On commentary, Jean was noticeably shook by the events and, since then, has passionately chaired the official Dizzy fan club, relaying all of the fan support (and friendship bracelets) to Dizzy.
Since being appointed Coach, Jean has become more confident in her public appearances believing that she can lead the roster to be at their best only if she shows how much she believes that herself. While she is still polite and cordial, she has learned to be more forceful with those who try to cause trouble for her and OG-Joshi, even Orochi Geese himself. Jean's rising confidence has inspired some while angered others and it is unclear if she can back up her ultimatums the same way Celes had. However, due to Jean's growing support club, she is gaining the security she needs to accomplish her agenda.
Above all, Jean is still happy to be in OG-Joshi and realizes that as hard as the role of "Coach" is, she is doing it to help those out that have inspired her in the past. She hopes to create an environment where the wrestlers have no obstacles to continue doing that to each other and the fans.
Titles Held/Other honors:
- Current OG-Joshi "Coach"
- Former "General's Understudy"
- Former OG-Joshi Lead Interviewer
- Former host of various OG-Joshi and UBL shows.
