ALL YOUR OG-JOSHI AMPLITUDE ARE BELONG TO ME!!!YOu have no chance, make your time! ... Actually, yes, you have plenty of chances. In fact, let me tell you how. Geese and I have been talking for the past couple months about the transition here, and we are pretty sure it can be a smooth one. Maybe. We think. Uh... As far as wrestling credentials, if I may be so kind as to offer my input (or brag to make myself feel better) here's what I've wrote before hand to con Geese into giving me a show. spatulawrtdump.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=showsIts also a good opportunity for you to get a feel of the "new format" - I'll be emphasizing story over wrestling most of the time, so if you've found your wrestlers placed into Amplitude, don't worry about having to get me new edits every so often or anything like that. However, I do like it when people send me PMs because it makes me feel special, and it also allows you (the handler) to communicate to me (the show writer) any story ideas you have; it also allows me (the show writer) to communicate to you (the victim) any ideas I have that I will want to run with. Geese may or may not show up to validate this, but if not, you can TOTALLY TRUST ME DUDES, I'm not lying, like, at all, and also, I know this dude right, who has a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

My name is OrochiGeese and I endorse the above message. Ok, so for a few months I was actually hoping Joe would offer to write Amplitude. And amazingly, my mind powers twisted reality and got him to do so. Orochi Mentok = Results! There are two reasons why I was hoping he would do this: 1) Anyone familiar with Joe's storytelling can vouch that he's awesome at it. McPro is just one example but the fact is that he was the motivation behind the Holly/Jo story and really the motivation behind OG-Joshi as a whole. It was his idea in 2004 for me to start this and he's given me invaluable story and CHARACTER advice along the way. Not just for stories involving his characters but also for ones that don't. Simply put, he knows his e-wrestling incredibly well. He also knows how to build wrestlers very well and give a unique feel to a show. And perhaps most importantly, his match writing abilities runs circles around mine 2) I've taken on too much. First it was OG-Joshi, then LAWL, then UBL, then I SPLIT OG-Joshi and UBL, then I added an apple to LAWL, then a train going 40 mph...ok, you get the point. Shows have been taking longer to produce for me and sometimes months go by between one "brand" that I forget stories. Many of you have already witnessed my "ok what were we doing again for this story?" PM's. So while I was still planning to go at this pace, the offer from Joe for me to delegate Amplitude to him made a LOT of sense. With all that said, I just want to assure you guys of a few things. 1) I'm still gonna be actively involved in the Amplitude stories and you all can PM me as well as Joe. 2) I gave him a gigantic document of plans that I have I discussed with all for your characters. He knows all the stories for Amplitude leading up to now and for the future. While he already has come up with some very good applications or twists of these ideas, overall he is planning on keeping the "power structure" the way I was expecting to have it. As he said to me, he's not looking to change overall stories, but he does have plans that may change the order in which they happen. If you have ANY questions, please please PM him and/or me. I'm hoping you guys get comfortable discussing stuff with him, in addition to me. I think we're all in for a very entertaining show with him writing it. One of my priorities for OG-Joshi has always been maintaining a high degree of handler interaction and comfort level with how I use everyone's characters. That will continue under these new arrangements - OrochiGeese 5/9/2010 Update from Geese: While it should be pretty apparent, I figured I'd just be clear and mention that I'm back to writing Amplitude and have been for the last year or so. So I'm unstickying this thread.
