*"Mean" Jean Carter opens up the show standing in the studio dressed up in an expensive-looking business suit and sporting a priceless smile*
[MJC:] "Welcome to the second Amplitude of 2008!!"
*MJC leaps enthusiastically but composes herself*
[MJC:] "We've got a great show for you tonight. And while I promised General Celes and myself that I wouldn't get emotional, this is actually my final night as host. So let's try to make this the best Amplitude ever, ok!? You, the viewer, and me!! And if you're not already nodding 'Yeah Jean, let's show them fat cats in Washington how it's done', well then check out THIS CARD!"
*A graphic comes on the Amplitron*
- Naomi vs. Patty Sirloin
- Hiromi/Keina vs. Reed Sisters
- Kristin Blade vs. DARKNESS Diva
- Lina's Open Challenge
[MJC:] "We have a huge main event for you tonight, or um, at least we HOPE we do! Lynn "Lina" Malloy has made an Open challenge for tonight. Anyone on the Amplitude roster can accept it!! Whether your name is Yoyo Banzai or Jenna Stone or Natalia Nogaard or even Lina...no wait...hmmm"
*MJC looks confused and contemplative*
[MJC:] "THAT's not right, she can't accept her OWN challenge, can she?"
*MJC looks off screen and then nods*
[MJC:] "Ok, right so anyone on the Amplitude roster OTHER then Lina can accept Lina's challenge."
*MJC blushes*
[MJC:] "Heck, even someone who has already wrestled tonight can accept her challenge! So maybe one of the two wrestlers in the next match would want to! Especially Patty Sirloin who is expected in this next match to effortlessly bowl over the timid Naomi of KENTA! Army. Naomi has been training hard but I've gotten word from Shino that Naomi still has a long way to go before she, and I'm quoting Shino here, "stops making KENTA embarrassed with sad humiliation over her and Keina's passionless and skill-less matches." Ouch, tough 'love' from KENTA! Army 'den-mother' Shino. But I agree that Naomi is gonna have a tough encounter here against veteran power brawler Patty Sirloin. Can the small-statured but big-hearted Naomi manage to come out of this match with victory, or even in one-piece? Let's find out!"
*We hear an off-camera female voice saying "Good analysis, Jean." to MJC who smiles in return*
Match #1: Naomi vs. Patty Sirloin
Patty is leaning against the corner with a big smile on her face, almost one that you'd see before she's about to eat a big meal. Naomi looks oddly brave and appears ready to get this match started. Naomi's bravado lasts about five seconds after the bell rings as her attempted running dropkick bounces off an unharmed and laughing Patty. Naomi's mood takes a turn for the worse as the poor girl turns pale in response to Patty licking her lips. (Somewhere, Mr. Figaro just fainted).
After Patty pushes another few weak attempts at offense away, Naomi starts looking hopeless. Unfortunately this happens right when Patty appears ready to stop messing around. With Patty Sirloin now on the prowl, Naomi begins using her agility to just survive. She's doing tumbles underneath Patty's altnerating attempts to grabbing and lariating her. The crowd cheers watching Naomi do her best but it's clear Naomi is too scared to do anything other then escape. Finally Patty catches her and throws her against the turnbuckles hard, eliciting a very sympathetic "OWWWWWW" from Naomi. Patty chops her on the chest a few times and yells that if she stays put, Patty will end this quickly. Patty backs up so she's about in the middle of the ring and then begins running with outstretched arms and an intimidating battle cry to Naomi....who cartwheels away at the very last second, leaving Patty to run chest first into the turnbuckles! Patty roars in anger and pain, leaving Naomi to yelp in response. Patty recovers, as Naomi doesn't dare attack her after the missed splash, and hits a running shoulder block on Naomi. At this point, Patty is keeping Naomi very close to her, not allowing any more missed chances. But seeing as she's quite angry from that blown splash before, she looks to want to finish Naomi quickly, After a backbreaker over her knee, she then pulls Naomi up by her hair and motions for a powerbomb.
She lifts Naomi up for the powerbomb but a funny thing happens: Naomi is able to wiggle her right leg free and get it under Patty's left arm. Patty doesn't seem to realize what's going on here until Naomi then locks her own feet together and grabs Patty's arm at the same time, HOLY F'N SHIT...Naomi of KENTA ARMY, yes,...THAT KENTA ARMY, has just put Patty Sirloin into an aerial version of the TRIANGLE CHOKE And the pressure that Naomi is putting on Patty's arm and neck has caused her to lose her balance and fall down right into Naomi's surprisingly decent guard, completing the triangle choke position.. The crowd is stunned absolutely silent, you could hear a pin drop. So it's quite a loud sound that occurs ten seconds later when Patty Sirloin's hand smacks the mat 3 times to tap out.
Naomi (O) [Triangle Choke - 9:10] (X) Patty Sirloin
Naomi lets Patty out of the choke as Patty stares up at the lights, wondering what the HELL just happened. Naomi slowly gets up and turns to the crowd who then give her a HUGE ovation! You'd think this girl just won the OG-Joshi World Championship or something cause of how much support the crowd is giving her. For her part, she still looks shocked that she was able to pull it off, but she does give a little jump and yell out: "I SUBMIT TO KENTA ANY DAY!" before running to the back, around the same time as Patty finally gets up looking enraged at getting one-upped and surprised.. We go back to the studio to find a happy MJC.
[MJC:] "It looks like a lot of heart mixed with a great technique and the element of surprise can make anyone here in OG-Joshi a winner! Good work to Naomi and I'm sure KENTA is proud of her, regardless of what others may say! And KENTA is sure a lucky guy, as he now has two more women striving to please him...uh, through their in-ring efforts! As the next match pits Keina and Hiromi of KENTA! Army against Melody and Harmony Reed. And seeing as there aren't that many tag teams yet on Amplitude, there is actually a lot on the line here. Confused? Let me explain!"
[MJC:] "When the roster split first happened, General Celes stipulated that wrestlers from both Voltage and Amplitude could compete for the OG-Joshi Tag Championships, recently won by J*NiGHT. If a team impresses Celes, then they will get a shot at the Tag Titles on their native show or on a PPV. Hiromi and Keina hope to continue the KENTA! Army success started by Naomi earlier tonight. Meanwhile, The Reed Sisters have been trying to get some momentum in OG-Joshi and managed to do so against Kat Black and Kim Cross during Voltage matches in late 2007!! Can Keina and Naomi make it a clean sweep for KENTA! Army tonight or will the Reed's continue their rhythm of victory! Get it, "rhythm"...cause the Reed Sisters have names based on music and stuff? Ahh shucks, let's just get to the match!"
Match 2: KENTA! Army vs. Reed Sisters
KENTA! Army makes their way to the ring to "Freckles" and are in good spirits after Naomi's earlier win. (Keina appears to be a bit more enthusiastic then Hiromi.) They find the Reed's waiting for them. The Reeds apparently opted out of a musical ring introduction for tonight and are all business.
Due to Hiromi's participation, this match became a bit different then KENTA Army's usual outings. While Keina's speed was in usual display, Hiromi's power and impatience allowed them to keep the Reed Sisters a bit more off-balanced then expected. Everytime Keina was in some kind of trouble due to one of Melody's holds or pins, Hiromi would march right in and break it up. This would irritate the somewhat shorter-fused Reed Sister, Harmony, who would use her speed to dropkick Hiromi out of the ring. And this isn't just one spot I'm referring to, this was pretty much for five whole minutes! Melody began sensing that the crowd was getting irritated and so switched the pace up, allowing Keina to tag in Hiromi. Melody then began an assault on Hiromi's leg, hitting a variety of dragon screws and sweep kicks on it. Hiromi tried to use her power but to no avail against the technical expert Melody, and it finally took Keina starting to cry at her team's troubles before Melody got visibly frustrated at the situation and tagged in Harmony.
Hiromi limped away and tagged out as well and finally Harmony was able to match up against Keina. And the fans were in for a treat here as the two really went at it, a classic speed vs. speed matchup. However, it was Harmony's superior intelligence that allowed her to gain the edge in that battle and she proceeded to wow the crowd and keep Keina off balance with a number of high flying flipping dropkicks and various body presses. Keina started to get scolded by Hiromi on the apron and tried to tag out but Harmony wasn't allowing that so easily, or at all. It took an incredible show of agility on Keina's part to float over an attempted Harmony splash in the corner and then do a tumblesault to tag in Hiromi.
Hiromi started punishing Harmony with a number of backbreakers and slams, before applying a camel (KENTA!?) clutch and REALLY wrenching back. She kept yelling: "YOU SUBMIT TO KENTA, YES/NO!?" to which Harmony predictably said: "No, and STOP SHOUTING!" Harmony was able to escape the hold before Hiromi burst her ear drums. However, Hiromi still had control and dragged Harmony to their corner. She lifted Harmony onto her shoulders and signalled for Keina to climb the turnbuckles. Keina took a bit of time here in posing for the fans and leading them in a "1-2-3 KENTA!" chant. But as Keina finally went to hit a flying knee, Harmony was able to escape Hiromi's grasp and fall forwards into a Victory Roll, capturing a surprised Hiromi in a pinning predicament! Hiromi was strong enough to kick out at 2, but by this point, Melody came in (hoping to even the double-team advantage) and joined forces with Harmony to hit a lightning quick "Duet" (Total elimination) on Hiromi!! Keina was still down from the missed flying knee and was unable to get up in time to stop Harmony from covering Hiromi for the 3 count.
Keina/Hiromi (X) [Duet" - 14:30] (O) Harmony/Melody
[MJC:] "A very strong win for the Reed's here. Melody's earlier leg work certainly softened Hiromi up for that "Duet" and Harmony is gaining quite a reputation for her impressive reversals! But you know, I'm getting a strange feeling about KENTA Army tonight. Something tells me that Shino isn't gonna be AS upset with Keina and Hiromi losing as she was with Naomi WINNING with a move that didn't look anything like we've seen her use before. I guess we'll have to hear more about THAT straight from Shino's mouth before I speculate any more and get myself into trouble!! Speaking of trouble, no wait, i don't have a great segue here, sorry. But speaking of great, we're about to go to a commercial for the recent FPCPP PPV, entitled "Testing In it" that our fearless owner OrochiGeese took part in!!"
Testing In it thread and video links!
*We cut backstage to one of the many corridors of the Peter Venkman
Memorial Arena, where interviewer and general's understudy "Mean" Jean
Carter is talking into a cell phone*
[MJC:] "What do you mean she's not here? I was going to talk to her about the
contract... no! Don't ask the General about it, I'm sure she's far too
busy. Did she call in sick or something? Try to get hold of her and keep me informed..."
*Jean ends the call, a look of mind panic on her face*
[MJC:] "Oh man, General Celes won't like this..."
*She continues walking backstage looking a bit nervous when she happens to see recently signed OG-Joshi wrestler, Gutter, watching from the backstage monitors, sipping a burger joint soda. Smiling when she sees a familiar face, MJC walks in from behind Gutter and puts a hand on her shoulder. Gutter then wheels around and nearly takes a swing at MJC before just barely stopping when she sees who it is.*
[Gutter:] "Oh, it's you. What do you want?"
[MJC:] "Just wondering how you liked the setup, if you were getting along with everyone!"
*Gutter just shrugs and turns back to the monitor*
[MJC:] "You know, you could AT LEAST say 'thank you'"
[Gutter:] "Fer what?"
[MJC:] "Bringing you into this company, DRIVING you all the way here, getting you a hotel room....with a mini-bar! A MINI-BAR!"
[Gutter:] "...So what? You said it yourself, you were doing it because the high-ups told ya to. Why should I thank you for doing your (rhymes with 'trucking') job?"
[MJC:] "Hmph! I just thought you'd appreciate it a little, I mean, I DID help you pack..."
[Gutter:] "Nobody asked you to. 'Sides, coupla months and I'll be able to drive myself. An maybe I can listen to something good on the radio."
*MJC shakes her head, stressed out even more after this encounter, and walks off while Gutter burps. When MJC sees that the camera is upon her again, she blushes and fumbles for her mic, bobbling it a bit a few times (with requisite "whoa whoa whoa" sounds) until finally catching it,*
[MJC:] "Uh we're back!! And ready for our next match! We're about to watch DARKNESS Diva in action against Kristin Blade! And I gotta say, the recent buzz around OG-Joshi is that Kristin has been reminding a LOT of people of OG-Joshi icon Dizzy when she first got here. Let's see if Kristin can show some *looks faintly in Gutter's direction* good manners like Dizzy always did!! AND if she can win, since Dizzy did that a lot too! Especially against quick and tricky opponents like DARKNESS Diva!
Match #3: Kristin Blade vs. DARKNESS Diva
Diva's already in the ring, with Yoyo Banzai as her "ring second". A betting pool opens immediately in the crowd as to how long it will take for Yoyo to interfere in this match. If you want in, it's too late, this event already happened. (try to keep up ) Kristin comes down to the ring next and she's definitely confident but is exuding yet another emotion that the crowd can't quite wrap their mind's around yet. After all, everyone is still a bit confused as to WHAT to make of this woman. What is her purpose here? What kinda music does she like? Into long walks on the beach? Likes to "cyber?" It's gonna take a while to figure this relatively new OG-Joshi talent out but the crowd seems to be enjoying the ride here.
ANYWAY, those who guessed 'immediately' for the 'Yoyo pool' win as she abandons caution and tries to quickly take Kristin out of the match even PRIOR to the bell. But Kristin is too fast here and side-swipes Yoyo's attempted running yakuza kick, while tripping her up at the same time. Fry, the ref, goes to send Yoyo to the back but Kristin stops Fry and laughs telling him to "let her stay, let's make this an actual challenge." Everyone looks shocked at this reaction, especially an angry Diva, but Kristin appears ready.
And a challenge is exactly what Kristin gets, as it ends up becoming somewhat of a handicapped match, just without Yoyo actually in the ring as a legal participant. Don't get me wrong, Kristin has FULL control of the match. It's just that every time she rolls up Diva after an offensive onslaught, Yoyo distracts Fry from making the count. Unfortunately for Diva, not only does this result in an extended beating for her, but she really seems to have no answer to Kristin's extremely slick execution of technical skills in combination with speed. Diva's only brief period of offense comes from her striking prowess but Kristin was able to fend that off, as well, while patiently waiting for Diva to make a mistake and then countering it into yet another pinning predicament. All the while, Kristin is grinning at Yoyo, which does not a happy Yoyo make!
Finally, after about ten minutes of Kristin outwrestling Diva but being unable to get the pin cause of Yoyo, Kristin pulls up the downed Diva and smiles. She then puts her arm around Diva and blows a fake kiss to Yoyo. And that's just the last straw rght there as Yoyo charges into the ring and goes to attack Kristin with a busaiku knee (one of Yoyo's specialties) only for Kristin to duck, causing the nkee to land square on Diva's chin. Yoyo looks down in horror at what just happened (notably more angry that Kristin 'played her' then that she hurt Diva) and so lets her guard down long enough for Kristin to render her a nonfactor for the rest of the match via high bridge snap german suplex. Kristin then casually walks over to the downed Diva and applies a jackknife pin (with an impressive bridge). It does NOT get broken up by Yoyo this time.
Kristin Blade (O) [Jackknife Pin - 12:25] (X) DARKNESS Diva
*We go back to the studio as MJC has a bag of popcorn and is looking earnestly at the screen*
[MJC:] "Wow! Kristin just did what few have ever done in OG-Joshi - get the upper hand against Yoyo Banzai in a game of the MIND!! "Mind games" for those of you playing along at home. We're still getting to know Kristin's but she's got some spark to her, that's for sure!!. And speaking of SPARKS, you should all use this time to review your fire safety cards! Cause it is NOW time for the main event! Shortly after Lina's debuting victory at the previous Amplitude, she made made an Open challenge to the OG-Joshi lockerroom for a match. We still do not know who is going to take her up on it but General Celes was so intrigued by her MOXY that she wanted to give her the main event in hopes someone of merit would have the GUMPTION to face her. Ok, ok, Celes would NEVER say "moxy" or "gumption" but I'd like to imagine she's at least THINKING it when she says the things that make us all respect her so much! GO Celes! And let's GO to the arena to find out who is ready to step up to the challenge of this plucky newcomer named Lina!"
*"Step Up" by Drowning Pool blasts into the arena, as Lina comes down to the ring, mic in hand. Like last time, her entrance causes one section of the crowd in particular to go absolutely ballistic. Lina lets her hood fall back and surveys the crowd, waiting for the cheers to quiet down a little before raising her mic.*
[Lina:] "So it's been a little while, huh guys?"
*The crowd erupts again, "L Section" especially, as the camera zooms in for a moment on a sign reading "Throw shirt here or they'll throw me out again" with a big arrow pointing down, amongst various other Lina related signs in the section.*
[Lina:] "Yeah, I missed you guys too. But you know, last time I was in front of you all, I rocked it, right? Not a bad debut for the little redhead from Motor City, huh?"
*Once she finishes egging the crowd on, she raises the mic back to her mouth.*
[Lina:] "But lemme tell ya, since then, I've been a little confused. So... someone wanna tell me somethin'? Why haven't I heard anything from the Amplitude girls, huh? I seem to remember making a certain challenge..."
*L Section starts to cheer again but are interrupted as the music of Eris Byrne hits. After a few seconds she steps out onto the ramp, mic in hand*
[Eris:] "A certain challenge, huh? Think it went something like this..."
*Eris snaps her fingers, and the OrochiTron comes alive, showing Lina standing with Mean Jean*
[OrochiTron Lina:] "So here's how it's gonna go. I'm issuing a challenge to the OG-Joshi locker room. I want to see who rocks this place! Next Amplitude, I'll be ready to take on whoever comes out of that entranceway to accept my challenge."
*Eris waits for L Section to quiet down before continuing*
[Eris:] "You're new here, girlie... so I'm gonna 'tell you something'. I'm Eris Byrne. The Goddess of Chaos. I. Rock. This. Place. Simple enough for ya?"
*A moment of quiet tension follows, when to the surprise of everybody in the building, Lina laughs.
[Lina:] You know what? I like your style. I think this is gonna be some fun.
*Lina drops her mic, cracking her knuckles and gesturing Eris toward the ring.
Match #4: Lina vs. Eris Byrne
Eris gets into the ring and doesn't appear to be as impressed with Lina's style as Lina was with Eris'. Rather, Eris wants to show that Amplitude is HER show. The only wrinkle here is that Lina isn't too interested in being pigeonholed as "supporting cast". As we now have a STAREDOWN at the start of the match: Eris' stare being completely serious while Lina's being tinged with an excited smile.
The two get into things and Lina takes control after Eris tries to engage in fist'a'cuffsmanship. She quickly learns that this is not the route you want to go to get the advantage over Lina, who the crowd goes nuts over whenever there is a brawl. After taking more then a few blows to the head and a few steps back, Eris goes back into the melee zone feinting with an elbow but then immediately dropping down to take Lina off her feet. This worked considerably better and Eris is able to mount Lina with punches, only to be reversed with authority by Lina's intensity and foot sweep. Lina gets on top of Eris and really begins going to town with punches, prompting the poised-under-pressure Eris to grab the ropes to force the break.
Whether it was Eris' defiance or the fact that Lina is still looking to make a strong impression, Lina has gotten the better of Eris so far and maybe even managed to get into Eris' head a bit. Perhaps that's an overreaction, maybe speculation...then again, it IS quite rare for Eris to GRAB A CHAIR just 3 minutes into a match with someone she has no real prior history with!! The ref (Kenshin) knocks the chair out of Eris' hands before she gets a chance to swing it at Lina, but Eris uses this distraction to thumb her in the eyes.
This gives Eris control and she immediately goes to work on Lina's leg: twisting and torquing with various maneuvers. Eris appears to finally have found her comfort zone in this match and whenever Lina tries to brawl her way out of it, Eris goes right back to raking the eyes or hitting a vertical chop right under Lina's throat. Eris' anger and violence is in full effect here and it's definitely keeping her in control. Strangely, "L section" is rather muted during this but in an unsettling way. As if they just know trouble is a'brewing in retaliation to the nefarious way that Eris is maintaining control in this match.
After Lina powers out of a single leg crab, Eris immediately goes over to grab her by the hair but Lina suddenly hits a chinbreaker. Eris lets out an audible "f*ck" (immediately censored thanks to this being a TAPED show) and Lina has a very motivated look in her eyes. That same "calm competitiveness" we saw at the start of the match turning into a "now you're toast" look after the way Eris has conducted herself. Lina takes the stunned Eris off her feet with a lariat and then mounts her with punches and elbows. Eris has no answer here and she's far enough from the ropes to use THAT as an escape again.
However, as fortune would have it, Eris' chair that was knocked down previously is actually in her reach and she uses it to shield herself from an attempted Lina punch. Lina's hand smacks the chair and she dismounts Eris in pain. Eris then clips Lina's leg from behind to continue the attack, transitioning into an inverted STF. When Lina audibly refuses to give up (and even mocks the hold), Eris gets impatient and picks her up. She's notable angry here, having not expected such fight from the newcomer. She nails Lina with a DDT and covers, but only gets a 2. Eris pulls Lina up by her hair and goes for a vertical suplex, but Lina blocks it...Eris then smiles and grabs Lina's leg, causing Lina to yell a bit in pain, and sets up for a fisherman suplex...and then hits it! But Eris only gets a 2 1/2 on the count and lets out her own frustrated sound.
Eris yells out "That's it" and hastly pulls Lina up. She gets her into bodyslam position and then begins manuevering her...wait, she's going for the Ravenstone!! (tombstone piledriver) But Lina is able to deftly escape and uses her understated agility to floats over and hit a reverse DDT. Both women are on the mat trying to recover and catch their breaths. Lina is first and nails Eris with some punches, then runs the rope and takes her down with a lariat. She runs the ropes again and pulls off a very impressive hurracaranna. Eris appears a bit confused after being whipped around so much and Lina takes advantage of this by going behind her and attempting a victory roll, but Eris was "playing possum" and still has enough of her wits about her to run backwards against the ropes, trapping Lina's legs under the top rope to stop the over-the-shoulder momentum of the move. Eris is then able to secure her arms around Lina's body and drop down into a modified Ravenstone! The crowd gasps as Eris goes for the pin but she amazingly only gets a 2.9!!
Eris in a VERY foul mood at this point, upset that this newcomer is putting up such a fight and trying to "show her up" after Eris' claimed Amplitude superiority. She brings Lina, who looks barely conscious from that Ravenstone, to the corner whille repeatedly slapping her. Eris then lifts Lina onto the turnbuckle and gets up herself...oh no, is she going for an avalanche Ravenstone here!? If she is, she better hurry it up cause Lina has just come to!! Perhaps she was woken up thanks to the very slaps that Eris used!! And just as Eris was able to use the ropes to help her out before, Lina done the same here and has grabbed the top ropes with her hands, blocking the avalanche Ravenstone!! Eris repeatedly tries to break her grip but, in doing so, doesn't protect her face properly and Lina bashes it with her knees while upside down!! This takes its toll, causing Eris to finally lose her grip on Lina and ....what's this? Lina is spinning her hips and is now facing outwards. She manages to do a pull up while Eris is still holding her...oh this is a bad idea, Lina could get powerbombed now in this position---NO! Lina jackknifes her own body downwards, sending her and Eris careening to the outside!! Lina just hit a makeshift avalanche hurracarrana to the outside on Eris!! The crowd is ON THEIR FEET! L-Section is going absolutely RABID for this "Lina-canranna."
However, this move definitely took its toll on Lina as well, and both are lying on the ground unable to move for the first 10 seconds of the ref's count. Finally, Lina stirs and begins getting up while Eris is still down. Lina is still slow but gets herself up solidly and crawls into the ring by the 18 second mark. Eris is still lying on the ground, her eyes look a bit glassy. She is not able to get in at 20 and the ref immediately calls for the medical crew who attend to her. The bell is rung (literally and figuratively for Eris!) and Lina has just won a HUGE match on only her second show here! The Open challenge was a success!
Lina (O) ["Lina-canranna." Count-Out - 18:15] (X) Eris Byrne
Lina uses the ropes to get to her feet and soaks in the cheers of the fans. As the medical crew helps Eris up, she realizes what has happened and slowly gets her wits back. She shoves the crew aside (to boos) and locks eyes with Lina (with much more anger then at the start of the match) before making a throat-cutting gesture. But its clear that Lina-caranna took enough out of Eris, as she isn't looking to get revenge right now but, instead, walks to the back. Lina continues her celebration, unfazed at Eris' threat.
*We go back to the studio where MJC is wide-eyed*
[MJC:] "Wow...what can I say to THAT! Lina just pulled of what many would consider an upset! Beating one of the top-ranked Amplitude wrestlers on only her SECOND show! But as I'm sure Eris will mention, it was a count-out victory rather then a pin or submission. But it sure took a lot for Lina to get back to the ring considering Eris couldn't. In any case, I think we just saw the start of a an exciting new rivalry in OG-Joshi!"
*At that, MJC starts frowning*
[MJC:] "I guess that makes it even harder for me too...as, I would have loved to cover this rivalry on each new Amplitude but...like I said before, you guys have seen the end of my hosting. You see, General Celes and OrochiGeese have given me a GREAT new opportunity and I don't want to let them down! But that means I have to concentrate on it fully and I won't have time for any more show hosting here and I have just two shows left for UBL. I loved being the host and I super super hope you guys will all continue to write me and ask nice questions like "what am I wearing" and "does size matter to you?" and my favorite: "can I send happy thoughts and friendship bracelets to Dizzy". I did so every time you asked! So don't stop writing... PLEASE! I love my fans!! I'm onto new things and want your support more then EVER!"
*General Celes then walks onto the screen, MJC looks surprised*
[Celes:] "'New things' doesn't just go for you either, but for this show too. Ever since Geese and I spoke with you, I have been working on a new style for this show. Frankly, there's no way anyone but YOU, Jean, could provide the energy we need for this kind of studio show. Without you here, it's pointless. So we will be switching to a totally new format starting at next Amplitude. See you then, folks. And we'll be coming to you with the next Voltage soon. And Jean, thanks again for your exemplary work as host here."
*A few stagehands give MJC a bouquet of flowers as she begins to get emotional*
[MJC:] "What a scoop!"
*The camera fades on that scene.*
*Fin*
