Sister spat

*It's 8pm on a Saturday night at the LAWLatorium. We see Grace Reyes in old workout clothing (grey sweats and an old faded black tanktop) walking into the building and then entering the office. After a few seconds of conversation with one of the secretary (an intern dressed as a celery stalk), she nods her head and goes to leave. But while she is still in the hallway, a voice comes from behind her.*

"Not even going to say hi?"

*Grace frowns and stops, then turns around to see her sister, Gloria, the head of LAWL.*

[Grace:] "I'm in a rush. I just had to check that the show was still on."

[Gloria:] "And why would it not be?"

*Grace's eyes form a scowl*

[Grace:] "Orochi Geese wanted to cancel it or something. He probably thought LAWL was doing too well."

[Gloria:] "He has been supportive of the show. Regardless, Orochi Geese has no control over LAWL."

[Grace:] "Yeah whatever, keep telling yourself that. I gotta go-"

[Gloria:] "You seem to be in quite the rush."

[Grace:] "I'm tired, I've been training all day-"

[Gloria:] "Really? Cause Celery said you just arrived a few seconds ago. And I was in the LAWL gym all day,, really the entire weekend helping out new talent, and didn't see you ONCE."

[Grace:] "I never said I was training HERE."

*Gloria looks incredulous*

[Gloria:] "So the leader of "Let's Maul all Outsiders" isn't even training in the LAWL gym anymore?"

*Grace's face gets a bit flushed*

[Grace:] "What? NO! I didn't say I was wrestling training today, i was doing other stuff."

[Gloria:] "Interesting gear you've got on for "other stuff".

[Grace:] "See, THIS is why I wanted to get out of here. I KNEW you'd give me a hard time-"

[Gloria:] "Yes, some of us Reyes girls are known for giving our well-meaning sisters a hard time. I think Marie and I can attest to experiencing that phenomenon in the past."

[Grace:] "What the f*ck Gloria? If you got such problems with me, why even pick me to represent LAWL against LLAMMA Pro's Cutie Boobies or whatever her name is-"

[Gloria:] "Cutie Booties. Booties. And for your information, she is quite the talented fighter. I hope you are preparing for her unique combination of striking and grappling-"

[Grace:] "Heh, yeah, i'll be ready for any grapplers."

*Gloria raises her eyebrow, interest piqued*

[Gloria:] "Really? Cause you don't have the experience OR training partners for that. Cynthia knows nothing of even basic mat techniques besides "prison ground and pound" and Lupe only knows high flying and submissions. The less said about the LAWLunkaloompas grappling, the better."

[Grace:] "That's your problem, Gloria. That's the whole Reyes family problem - always underestimating me, always doubting my potential. Well, I think you're gonna see a new side of me at the show next week, sis."

*Grace turns around and goes to leave. But Gloria isn't done yet*

[Gloria:] "I've said numerous times that I've thought you had the most talent potential out of ALL the Reyes, and you know that. I've always been impressed and proud of your abilities but-"

*Grace stops mid-stride, turns around and looks at Gloria with a pained look*

[Grace:] "Saying all that praise is empty when you still TREAT me like a baby."

*Gloria sighs*

[Gloria:] "Cause you just keep acting like one."

*Grace turns around again and storms out of the LAWLatorium, leaving a frustrated Gloria*
