*Amplitude starts in the same "studio" room as from
it's premiere episode. The "AmpliTV" is showing various
short clips from the previous Voltage. We then see Drake
Yoshida, OrochiGeese's choice for host of this show,
walk onto the set with a big, enthusiastic smile.
Drake: "Welcome fans of OG-Joshi to the second Amplitude.
Allow me to introduce myself to those who have
been truant in their Voltage watching duties.
My name is Drake Yoshida and I am an old friend
of OrochiGeese. Actually *Drake pauses and then laughs*
I was his old boss in the UBL. Now that he is
my boss, we'll all find out if I treated him right
back then! So I would like to thank him and General
Celes for giving me the opportunity to host this show."
Drake: "I ran a tight ship in UBL and I am not one for
talking. So allow us to show you the matches we
have scheduled for tonight."
*The camera pans to the AmpliTV as we see 4 matches listed*
-- Jenna Stone vs. Darkness Diva --
-- Patty Sirloin vs. Hiromi --
-- Sandy Morton vs. Naomi --
-- Jane Dod vs. Keina --
Drake: "Our first match for tonight will feature the
debut of a new OG-Joshi superstar named Jenna
Stone. OG-Joshi has already gotten a brief
introduction from Jenna this previous week.
Drake: "Her opponent for the night will be DARKNESS
Diva, who did not fare too well against Lana
during their match at the previous Amplitude. We
will see if Diva can use her superior OG-Joshi
experience over Jenna Stone or if Jenna's
charisma and energy will take her to victory."
Match #1: Jenna Stone vs. DARKNESS Diva
*Camera zooms into the AmpliTV and we're then "magically"
transported to the arena where we see Darkness Diva warming
up. "Freya" by The Sword, hits the speakers as a young
blond woman in spectacular physical shape comes bouncing out
to the ring ramp. She's smiling widely as she hears the
fans reacting to her energy as she bounces to the ring.
She leaps over the top rope and shakes the hand of the
ref (Guybrush) and then goes over to try to shake Diva's
hand, which is met with a slap to the face and an audible
shout by Diva of "calm the f*ck down, NOOB!". Jenna looks
shocked and then IMMEDIATELY hoists Diva up onto her shoulders!*
The bell has run and this match is officially under way,
despite the fact that one participant started the match
while airborne! Jenna uses this position to launch into an
airplane spin, notable for her perfect balance considering
her size and the speed she is performing the move with!
She spins for a good 20 seconds and then finally places
Diva down. Diva continues spinning and then flops face
down as Jenna claps, the audience joining in with her.
Jenna, to her credit, shows no signs of any vertigo.
Looks like SOMEONE took their Dramamine before the match!
Jenna raises Diva off the mat but Diva is still barely
able to retain her balance. Jenna goes over to the corner to
watch Diva literally just spinning around in a confused
state. Jenna then explodes out of the corner and nails
a lightning quick superkick!! ("FMB" - "Face Meets Boot")
Her speed is amazing for a woman that can be considered
a heavyweight on OG-Joshi's light roster. Jenna goes
for the pin but just gets a 2 count. She goes to pick
Diva up but is met by a low blow. Diva tries to run
the ropes but is apparently STILL dizzy and somehow
manages to run face first into the turnbuckle! How
does THAT happen? After bouncing off the turnbuckles,
she goes careening backwards but is caught by
Jenna who puts her into a full nelson! Stonelock?
NO! Full nelson slam!! Diva's back is driven into the
mat and Jenna covers for the 1-2-3. Jenna wins!
Jenna Stone (O) (Full Nelson Slam - 8:05) (X) DARKNESS Diva
*Jenna celebrates by running around the ring and
getting up on each turnbuckle to salute the fans.
She yells out a big "BOOYA" that the fans then return!
Jenna is clearly excited to have won her debut match
in OG-Joshi and enthusiastically high fives all
the fans near the ring ramp as she leaves the ring.
We then go back to the studio with Drake "Please
don't call me a plot device yet" Yoshida.*
Drake: "An impressive debut for Jenna Stone.
Hopefully General Celes will get her
some tougher competition in the weeks
to come. As that Diva was not very
impressive in this match at all."
*Angry clearing of the throat is heard off camera from a female voice*
Drake: "I see. Our next match includes a member of KENTA!
Army, Hiromi, taking on Patty Sirloin. Hiromi
suffered a tough loss at the hands and feet of Eris
Byrne at last weekend's Voltage. You can even see
the remnants of the battle on Hiromi's face after
a particularly brutal assault while tied up in
the "Tree of Woe." Patty Sirloin is coming off
a win against Lisa Robinson that occurred at
the debut edition of Amplitude a few weeks ago.
Let us get to the match and see what transpires."
Match #2: Hiromi vs. Patty Sirloin
*Camera zooms into the AmpliTV and we're once again "magically"
transported to the arena. We see Patty Sirloin stretching out
as Hiromi comes down to the ring accompanied by Keina. The
referee for the match is Fry and we're about to get started.*
Hiromi attempts to offer Patty a handshake, which is graciously
accepted...and then turned into an irish whip!! Keina screams
"BOO!" on the outside as Patty follows up with a big shoulder
charge, sending Hiromi down to the mat. Hiromi gets up and then
runs off the ropes, following up with a shoulder charge of her
own...moving Patty Sirloin back, oh...about one centimeter.
Keina yells out: "PUSH LIKE KENTA DOES!" which is immediately
received by the audience with nervous laughter and cat calls.
Hiromi runs the ropes again but this time Patty Sirloin attemps
a counter lariat...which Hiromi ducks! Hiromi continues running
the ropes and then manages to hit Patty with a shoulder charge
from behind...which sends Patty off balance into the ropes,
rebounding into a dropkick from Hiromi! Patty goes down! Hiromi
knocked the big piece of meat off her feet! Keina starts leading
the crowd in a "1...2...3...KENTA!" chant. Patty gets up and
is looking mighty angry, which should have been a sign to
Hiromi to back away. Instead, Hiromi makes the rookie mistake
of directly engaging the angrier, bigger, stronger,
pushed
press slam! Patty walks around the ring showing off her
impressive power and then launches Hiromi onto the ring post
of one of the corners! You can hear the nasty sound of face
hitting metal as Hiromi bounces back in pain! And the sound
of a woman's scream (Keina) signals that Hiromi has been
BUSTED open...and not in the way some of the fans dream of.
Hiromi looks to be bleeding around the same area that Eris
Byrne worked on last weekend. Patty's assault opened up
those wounds and now Hiromi is bleeding all over the place.
The ref is stepping in and gesturing ti Patty to wait in her
corner. Keina is screaming and crying that "KENTA NO RIKE
BROOD!! CREAN HER UP! MAKE HER PRETTY AGAIN!" Fry has a
towel and is trying to stop the bleeding. Meanwhile Patty
Sirloin is posing to the crowd and signalling that this
match is just about over...which seems almost prophetic,
if not entirely obvious to anyone over Keina's IQ level.
Fry manages to clean up the cut and stop the bleeding a
bit and Hiromi consents to the match continuing. But it's
clear that her head isn't in it anymore as she's lost
some blood. She wobbles over to Patty while attempting a
lariat but Patty is able to just scoop her up and drive
her into the mat with a powerslam, which gets an easy 3.
Patty Sirloin (O) (Powerslam - 6:10) (X) Hiromi
*Patty Sirloin shrugs her shoulders, wipes some of
Hiromi's blood off her attire, and then leaves the ring.
Keina then quickly runs in and starts cleaning up Hiromi's
face with another towel. She escorts Hiromi out of the ring
while totally covering her face (one might say HIDING it)
inside the towel and appears to be quite angry.*
*We head back to the studio where Drake Yoshida is waiting*
Drake: "It appears some women on this roster are
much more serious then others. Where I
am from, a little blood increases the
intensity of the fight, not ends it."
Drake: "In any case, we are ready for the next
match. As another member of KENTA Army
faces Sandy Morton, who I believe will
be accompanied by OG-Joshi World Champion
and a good friend of OrochiGeese, Holly.
Holly has been training Sandy and is
clearly going to be an asset in her
corner, giving her valuable advice and
not at all getting involved in the action
as some might accuse her of. A Champion
must be given the respect she deserves!"
Match #3: Naomi vs. Sandy Morton
*More angry female murmering is heard on the set
but we quickly cut to the arena for the match. Naomi
and Sandy are already in the ring. Holly is also in
the ring giving advice to Sandy. Right before Coach
McGuirk starts the match, Holly winks to Sandy before
walking over to a naive and confused Naomi. Holly
starts shaking Naomi's hand and patting her on the
back saying that "I AM FAN OF KENTA! I SPEAK REAL
ROUD SO HE WILL MOREST ME! KNOW WHAT ELSE IS ROUD?
*Before Naomi has a chance to answer, Holly lets
loose with a thunderous slap that rocks the entirety
of Naomi's young body 180 degrees to the left. The
entire audience shouts out: "OH NO SHE DIN'T!"
When Naomi turns back around, we see a tear in her
eye and a BRIGHT red mark the size of Holly's hand.
Naomi begins crying and Keina runs to ringside
to try to calm her down. Meanwhile, Sandy and
Holly are laughing and pointing yelling "KENTA
BABIES." McGuirk ushers Holly to the floor area
and warns her that the only reason Sandy isn't
being disqualified is that he didn't start the
match yet. And that he thinks Naomi clearly needs
the tough love anyway if this was her reaction.
Hey, a soccer coach has gotta be TOUGH!*
The match starts as Sandy immediately starts
apologizing to Naomi. She even...get this,
offers a handshake. And for the THIRD time
in a row on this show, the handshake does
NOT happen (seriously, when did people think
this was 'OG-JOH'?)...and Sandy slaps Naomi on her
OTHER (facial) cheek. Naomi now has two huge
red WELTS on her face and Keina is nervously
shouting: "WATCH YOUR FACE!! HIROMI BREED
TONIGHT, NOT YOU TOO" The fans get a kick
out of Hiromi "breeding" but Keina is no
longer in a jovial mood. Naomi sees this and
then answers Sandy's slap with a chest chop
of her own, taking Sandy by surprise. More
chops follow as she pushes Sandy into the
corner. She then backs up and hits Sandy
with a running dropkicku! Sandy staggers
out into a armdrag by Naomi and the fans
are loving Naomi's intensity here!
Holly, on the other hand, is not. As she
then begins to chase Keina around the
ring...causing Naomi to be distracted just
long enough for Sandy to hit her with a
low blow (either not seen by the ref or
just appreciated by him). Sandy then goes
into CHINLOCK mode (to the surprise of no
one familiar with her character). She is
really working that chinlock, and by that,
I mean she is staring lacksadaiscally into
the audience looking for guys to "hook up"
with after the show is over. Naomi, perhaps
sensing Sandy's attention waning, or just
wanting to get the hell out of Sandy's
armpit, burrows out of the chinlock and
then dropkicks Sandy on the upper back/neck
area. OUCH. That made a sound almost as
ROUD as the slaps did against Naomi.
Naomi continues to attack that same upper
back/neck area with chops and even some
decent looking clotheslines for a woman
of Naomi's meager size, strength, and wit.
Naomi hits a snap suplex and goes to pin
but Holly quickly brings Sandy's leg up
to the ropes, stopping the count due to
Coach McGuirk getting a near "EYE MELTING"
view up Sandy's "shorts". As McGuirk stumbles
back holding his eyes in pain, Holly runs
rolls into the ring, kicks Naomi in the
stomach and then CRUSHES her face with
a "Loser's Lunch," leaving her knocked out."
Keina's mouth goes all (leading many a
fan to try to hop the barrier and make
use of this unique opportunity, but
getting stopped by security) and also
rolls into the ring. But by this time,
Coach McGuirk has recovered his vision
and will to live and maneuvers Keina out
of the ring again (not being too shy to
use his hands). Sandy goes to pin the
knocked out Naomi, but Holly shouts "NO!"
She instructs Sandy to pick Naomi up and
get the satisfaction of winning the match
with her OWN finisher. Sandy decides to
do just that and attempts an RK-HO...
amazingly BOTCHING it against a totally
defenseless opponent. Sandy asks Holly
what to do and Holly just shrugs her
shoulders and sighs...as Naomi then
falls to the ground again and the
referee counts the Knockout: SHOCKED
that Sandy's botched move caused it.
Sandy Morton (O) (Botched RK-HO - 11:43) (X) Naomi
*Holly and Sandy celebrate and walk backstage. For
the second time of the night, Keina rolls in to the
ring to help a fallen KENTA! Army member. Hiromi
manages to stumble to the ring from backstage, but
Keina sees her and YELLS: "GO BACKSTAGE!! YOUR FACE
IS STILL BROODY!! NO ONE SHOULD SEE YOU NOW!" Hiromi
runs backstage as Keina and Coach McGuirk help the
knocked out Naomi backstage. We go back to the studio.*
Drake: "Congratulations to Holly who is molding
Sandy Morton into a fine competitor."
*The show is then paused. When we come back, we
see an angry General Celes leaving the stage after
having just talked to Drake. Drake looks annoyed
but then puts on his best smile as he sees the
camera is recording again.*
Drake: "What I meant to say was that OG-Joshi
does not condone illegal interference
and the actions committed by Holly and
Sandy do not reflect the competition
that OG-Joshi regularly espouses."
*Drake sneaks a wink in and then clears his throat*
Drake: "We turn now to our main event of the
evening. As a woman we have seen many
times throughout the night, Keina,
faces OG-Joshi newcomer Jane Dod. Keina
is the leader of KENTA! Army but will
not have anyone in her corner for this
match due to the conditions of her fellow
team members after their matches."
Drake: "Meanwhile, Jane Dod just wrestled her
OG-Joshi debut match last weekend and
was victorious against Lisa Robinson.
While Keina has been in OG-Joshi longer
then Jane, Jane has been in professional
wrestling longer then Keina may even have
been ALIVE. Jane also comes from the
Dod professional wrestling family, one
that has a long tradition of breaking
the rules and their opponents. Except
for OrochiGeese who always beat th-"
Match #4: Keina vs. Jane Dod
*Drake is interrupted as the video goes right to the
arena where the match is about to begin. Jane Dod is
leaning back in her corner, getting stretched out and
loose. She's adjusting her arm pads while smirking at
her opponent: a very angry looking young woman, Keina.
There is no smile on Keina's face, just stress due to
the events of the previous few matches and their effects
on KENTA! Army. Keina is not even shouting KENTA's name
despite some of her fans trying to spur her on with that
familiar battle cry chant. Kenshin is our referee and he
is not even allowing a handshake attempt to take place
in this match, making him the only referee tonight that
clearly learned from the other matches. Good job Kenshin!*
Keina starts out the match a "house'a'fire" with a
lot of thrown kicks and punches...unfortunately for
her, Jane Dod is smart enough to get out of the way
and ducks her head out between the middle and top
rope. Kenshin keeps Keina away. Jane carefully
approaches Keina who is starting to throw small
leg kicks...but Jane catches one, gets a single
leg takedown trip and immediately goes for a single
leg crab. Keina quickly drags herself to the ropes
and Kenshin forces Jane to break the hold. They
get up and Keina is a bit more wary about throwing
kicks but she does manage a nice chop that sends
Jane to again use her "outside the ropes" strategy.
Only this time, as Kenshin is moving Keina way,
Jane reaches over the ropes and hits Keina with
a thumb to the eye, drawing the boos of the crowd.
Jane shrugs her shoulders to dismiss their reaction
and starts going on the offensive with takedowns
and numerous kicks to the leg, mixing in some
single leg crabs and ankle lock variations. Keina
is being outwrestled here but her spirit is still
strong! She blocks a single leg takedown attempt
from Jane counters it into a very nice looking
double arm suplex! This gives Keina some momentum
and she begins using more of her suplex arsenal
due to her legs still being damaged from Jane's
earlier assault. Finally she shrugs off her
doubts and begins laying into Jane with kicks
and uses all the frustration she's had to deal with
tonight with what happened to her allies. Jane
is hanging on, looking for an opening and finds it
when Keina mistimes a kick. Jane counters into a
very vicious angled dragon screw. She bows to the
crowd with a sarcastic grin and once again
begins focusing on Keina's left leg with an
array of stomps, knee breakers, and elbow drops.
This continues until a patched up Hiromi
and a dazed Naomi (complete with KENTA!
icepack on her head) walk out to the ring
and begin encouraging Keina to fight her
hardest. This has the desired effect as Keina
begins
matwork and forces her back into a stand-up
game which Keina seems to have the advantage
in due to her seemingly endless energy and
passion tonight. Keina hits a KEINA rush and
is about to go for a Busaiku knee when...
ITS ERIS BYRNE! Eris Byrne just came out
from backstage and snuck up behind Naomi
and Hiromi...PLASTERING them both with chairs!
My lord, did you hear the shots on those!?
Both girls go down faster then...uh they go
down fast. And they are both knocked out, right
in front of Keina who is just staring SHOCKED
at Eris...but totally ignorant of a recovering
Jane Dod who has just rebounded off the ropes
behind her and gets ready to hit a debilitating
leg clip!! Zamph! (insert your random "Batman"
sound of choice) Keina gets taken right off
her feet as Eris begins laughing. Jane,
sensing this great opportunity, holds Keina's
leg and then transitions immediately into
her modified STF that she finished Lisa
Robinson off with at the previous Voltage.
Keina is screaming in pain as Eris is
right next to the ropes smiling at her
and taunting her. Kenshin doesn't see it
as he's facing Keina and has his back turned
to Eris. Keina even tries to grab hold of
the ropes but Eris is pulling them away
from Keina! Keina does not have the ground
prowess to get herself out of this situation
and has no choice but to tap out. And she does!
Jane Dod (O) (Modified STF - 14:20) (X) Keina
*Jane Dod leaves the ring after nodding
somewhat cordially (for a Dod, at least)
to Eris Byrne. Eris gets into the ring and
continues taunting the downed Keina as she
rolls holding her knee in pain. Finally, Eris
steps out of the ring. On her way back up the
ramp, she kicks Hiromi in the face, reopening
the cut from before. Eris holds her up for
Keina to see and then throws her back down
again and leaves for the backstage area.
Keina is left in the ring with a tear going
down her cheek but not dignifying Eris with
the usual KENTA! Army hysterical crying fit.
She's a brave girl, that Keina. Stay strong!*
*We go back to Drake in the studio*
Drake: "We hope you have enjoyed Amplitude
tonight and we welcome you to stay
tuned to OG-Joshi as Voltage returns
next weekend with four big matches.
If Naomi recovers from tonight's
beating, she will have the opportunity
to welcome a new wrestler into OG-Joshi.
We will not find out her identity until
next week, however. Also, two winners
from tonight will clash in a match as
Jenna Stone takes on Patty Sirloin.
There will be a 6 woman tag as J*NiGHT
takes on HAWT*Wing. And finally, in
the main event-"
*Voice from the studio: "That IS the main event."
Drake: "I see. In the semi main event to the
previous match, Orochi Army honored
member and commentator Mr. Clyde will
take on guttertrash, crowd hopper Jason
Hyde in a match that will allow Orochi
Geese his revenge over months of Jason's
disrespectful actions of tresspassing."
Drake: "Thank you for joining us and Amplitude
will return after the May 27th PPV."
*The show ends just as we see General Celes marching
up to the set to talk to Drake Yoshida. She looks a bit
angry but the video and audio cuts off soon after.*
*Fin*
