(Borrowing a brilliant idea from Twinky, I will be coding this PPV to make it
easier to navigate throughout. There will be certain "codes" that you can
type into your web browser's "FIND" function to get you to certain parts
of this PPV immediately without scrolling. So if you want to just check
out the matches, go right ahead (though the story DOES help!). Or if you
want to go straight to each new match set-up/intro by the announcers.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr. Clyde: "Welcome everyone to the third ever OG-FPD PPV to take
place, Darkness Falls. I'm Mr. Clyde, and I'm here with
my broadcasting partner, Mr. Figaro."
Mr. Figaro: "It's VERY exciting here tonight, that's for sure! And
we are coming to you live tonight from Orochi-O's Land
in Peter Venkman Memorial Arena! Yes, that's right, we
are at the same exact arena that was used for the Team
Orochi vs. Team Ryder Survival Match not too long ago!"
Mr. Clyde: "Will you enlighten the audience as to why we are here?"
Mr. Figaro: "Certainly! This arena was hand-picked by Holly, the
Marketing Director of Orochi-O's Inc, Vice President of
OG-FPD, and tonight's challenger to the Joshi Belt. Holly
chose this arena for one reason and one reason only:
Mr. Clyde: "She likes the bold comedic/"busting" style of Mr. Venkman?"
Mr. Figaro: "No. Rather, this arena was the VERY place where Holly
made OG-FPD Joshi Champion Dizzy submit during the
before mentioned survival match. That submission led to
Team Orochi's victory and Holly's sole survivor status
Though I'd like to think you, me, and Geese helped out."
Mr. Clyde: "We did. But Holly did secure and earn the final victory."
(For more on that epic match, go to:
www.pw-wild.com/cgi-bin/wild/YaBB.cgi?board=un;action=display;num=1116006584)
Mr. Clyde: "So Holly tried to use superstition in her favor and chose
this arena, hoping to make history repeat itself so that she
could beat Dizzy again. But if she beats Dizzy TONIGHT,
then not only will the match be hers, but so will that OG-FPD
Joshi Title that both Dizzy and Holly fight so hard for."
Mr. Figaro: "In addition to that match, which happens to be our main
event of the evening, we also have five more exciting
matches for you, with a LOT of gold on the line tonight!"
(Code DFJCINTRO )
Mr. Figaro: "Ok...let's get to the next match which is to decide
the #1 contender to the Joshi Championship. Who ever
wins this match now will automatically get a Joshi Title
shot during the next OG-FPD PPV. Whether that champion
will be Dizzy or Holly, will be up to them later on."
Mr. Clyde: "Not only is this match for a Joshi Title shot, but
it is ALSO both womens' OG-FPD Debut match. We have
seen both women wrestle in their highlight videos,
but tonight we see them in a full match: and against
each other. Kaori NIGHT has the experience edge...
Mr. Figaro: "Did you just say EXPERIENCE EGG!?"
Mr. Clyde: "No...I most certainly did not..."
Mr. Figaro: "Good...cause that could cause a problem since I already
have two relics equipp..
Mr. Clyde: "AHEM! As I was saying, Miss NIGHT has the experience
edge but, from what we've seen from Haley's video,
she is very dangerous in that ring. Her moveset is
based on submission, grappling, and suplexes and she
has many knockouts on her win/loss record from her
home country of England. Remember, just because she
is somewhat new to OG-FPD does not at all mean that
she is new to getting in a ring, fighting, and winning."
Mr. Figaro: "On the contrary, it appears that she is well versed
and extremely confident. We all saw what she had to say
about Kaori a few weeks ago and one does not show that
kind of confidence if they can not back it up."
Mr. Clyde: "But she is up against one of the women who has defined
Joshi wrestling in recent years, Kaori NIGHT. Kaori
is here in OG-FPD to continue the huge success that has
followed her everywhere and I don't think it got
lost while coming to OG-FPD Joshi. And now it is
time to get to the match and see what these two can do"

#1 Joshi Contendership: Kaori Night vs. Haley Cannon
Kaori NIGHT vs. Haley Cannon
*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "WHAT A MATCH!!! WHAT A DEBUT MATCH!!"
Mr. Clyde: "If these two continue to bring to OG-FPD Joshi
what we just saw in that ring right now, then
not only will they have storied careers, but
OG-FPD Joshi will become a legendary promotion"
Mr. Figaro: "For Haley to dominate early, and for Kaori to mount
what seemed like an impossible comeback, both women
deserve kudos and they are getting it from the crowd."
Mr. Clyde: "Although Haley won this match, Kaori certainly showed
the kind of heart and skills she had. And I'm sure
she will get another chance at that #1 contendership,
and most likely even the Joshi Title. But for now,
let's congratulate Haley Cannon on her tremendous
and artful performance in that ring tonight. And let's
pencil her in as one half of the next Joshi Title match."

Mr. Figaro: "And now we come to the MAIN EVENT of the evening!"
Mr. Clyde: "This is Dizzy's first Title defense of her BELOVED
OG-FPD Joshi Title. A title that, although fairly
new, has been making waves in the wrestling community
based on the talented wrestlers vying for it and the
quality of the Joshi Title match at Murderers Row: A
triple threat match that redefined, in many people's
minds, just what joshi wrestlers were capable of.
Easily the match of the Murderers Row PPV. And so
OrochiGeese decided to make this Joshi Title match
the main event of tonight's PPV."
Mr. Figaro: "His reasoning was well thought out. And despite the
last match being off the charts amazing, I do have
confidence that these two young ladies will raise
the bar from even the prior match. Or at least,
Holly made me say that...either way, I guess"
Mr. Clyde: "With that, let's get to the competitors. The challenger
tonight is Orochi-O's and OG-FPD's own, Holly. Although
she has not been wrestling for very long, she has pulled
off impressive victories in prior matches against more
experienced wrestlers. She was the sole survivor in the
before mentioned Team Orochi vs. Team Ryder match. And
despite her apparent short time in the ring, she has
already developed into a very dangerous competitor
with an interesting mix of in-ring talents."
Mr. Figaro: "Holly can be downright dirty in that ring but she has
also learned how to wrestle a very technical style.
And one of her main targets is a point of interest in
this match, due to Dizzy's offense. Holly likes to target
the legs of the opponent and try to set them up for
her "H-Lock 69" modified figure four move."
Mr. Clyde: "What makes this crucial to the match is that Dizzy's
arsenal is based on very fast, VERY FAST, offensive
moves. Moves like hurricaranas, top rope maneuvers,
and quick kicks. If Holly can immobilize Dizzy's legs,
then Dizzy's offence is substantially cut down."
Mr. Figaro: "But that's not all Dizzy has to contend with. As I said
before, Holly can be CRUEL in that ring when she wants.
She will mash your face in with her kicks and her
"Loser's Lunch" faceplant finisher can knock you out."
Mr. Clyde: "One thing going for Dizzy is that she has already wrestled
Holly twice and Dizzy knows she can beat her cause she
has in the past. Dizzy is more multi-faceted then she
seems as well. Although a lot of her style is high-flying
based, she also has excellent submission training.
Remember, "Lucha" style isn't only high-flying, it's
also varied submissions and quick pinning. Dizzy can
get you out of nowhere with a pin. You saw Dizzy's
highlight video, after all, didn't you?"
Mr. Figaro *laughing* "Holly was NOT happy with the fact OG captured one of
her more embarrasing moments in that video..."
Mr. Clyde: "The fact is...Dizzy earned that OG-FPD Joshi Title
by beating both Jo Ryder AND Holly in one match.
That shows that not only is Dizzy multifaceted,
but that she is extremely skillful in all the styles
she uses. AND it means she has a very strong ability
to react and adapt to her opponent's variations."
Mr. Figaro: "Well, I think we just about discussed all their,
skills, so, how about their motivations?"
Mr. Clyde: "I would say that, even though their motivations are
very different, they are both equally intense."
Mr. Figaro: "Holly wants to win this title because she feels it is
HER title. After all, she was partially responsible
for getting Geese to make a Joshi Division. So she
feels the belt wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for
her. Also, since Dizzy has become a member of Team
Ryder, run by Holly's hated rival, Jo Ryder, Holly
would like nothing more then to make Jo suffer by
taking the title from them. It makes me wonder
how much Holly is seeing Jo Ryder in the ring
rather then Dizzy who she is actually wrestling."
Mr. Clyde: "And that can lead to problems for Holly. She has
to be prepared for DIZZY in that ring regardless
of her outside motivations. As for Dizzy, she
also appears to have many motivations. This is
the first major title she has won and she is so
proud of it. She would hate to lose it so soon,
or at all, one would imagine. She also seems
to really enjoy the fans cheering and accepting
her. She is still young in this business but has
already gained so much momentum, she'd hate to
see it all go away, with her title, if she loses."
Mr. Figaro: "And I think that about sums it all up. Two women,
two skill sets, two motivations, ALL desire."
Mr. Clyde: "So now it is time to get to our main event."

OG-FPD Joshi Championship: Diane "Dizzy" Cavuto (c) vs. Holly
MAIN EVENT: Holly vs. Dizzy for OG-FPD Joshi Title!
*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "Is it possible to have like 4 "matches of the nigh"?"
Mr. Clyde: "Well..."match of the night" kind of implies a
singular nature, having too many cheapens the idea."
Mr. Figaro: "Fine...well then chalk up this match, this main event,
this battle of wills and skills, chalk it up as the
match of the night for me, that and Regal's"
Mr. Clyde: "Damn it...i said only ONE match of the night"
Mr. Figaro: *Snickers* "Yeah...I heard you!"
Mr. Clyde: "And I will say that I agree with you in your
assessment, this was an excellent match. And even
though I know Holly is going to be angry, both
women should be extremely proud of the performance
they just put on. But this, just like Murderers
Row, was Dizzy's night. She has retained her title,
and did so in an emotional and skilful display."
Mr. Figaro: "As annoyed that Holly will be that she lost the match
to begin with, can you believe Dizzy actually had the
GALL to taunt her right before the pin?!"
Mr. Clyde: "Dizzy isn't a vindictive girl, I'm sure she was just
caught up with the roar of the crowd and all of the
excitement of the moment. She KNEW she had won after
she hit that "Snack Wrapper"
Mr. Figaro: "SNACK WRAPPER?!"
Mr. Clyde: "Dizzy uses the "Snack Wrapper" move as a tribute to
her beloved trainer, Twinky Mclanahan."
Mr. Figaro: "Oh no...not THAT Twinky!? The one with the...
Mr. Clyde: "Hamburglar comic and mangled Orochi-O's toys?"
Mr. Figaro: "Yes..THAT one...?"
Mr. Clyde: "Despite THAT little episode, Twinky is a legendary
professional wrestler and was Dizzy's trainer. She
respects him very much and uses that move in homage
to him. And I'm sure he'll be very happy that Dizzy
retained her title with that very move."
Mr. Figaro: "The man mangled a slinky worse then I ever imagined..."
Mr. Clyde: "Yes...that was an indeed unfortunate undertaking."
*End Post Match Spoilers*
Mr. Figaro: "But mangled slinky's aside...
(Wow...anyone who didn't read the spoilers must be totally confused now, LOL)
Mr. Clyde: "We are now at the end of Darkness Falls. And although
it is often the habit of wrestling commentators
to unequivocally call the latest show the best show,
I do believe this has been OG-FPD best PPV in terms
of the sheer amount of excellent match quality."
Mr. Figaro: "I completely agree. Hmm, speaking of wrestling
commentators and the annoying, sycophantic
things they say...do you think it would be funny
if we open up the next show by yelling:
"It's a new day for WCW!"
Mr. Clyde: "Do that and I will leave and NEVER come back"
Mr. Figaro: "Do you know how many times you've said that and
we ALWAYS seem to find you somewhere!"
Mr. Clyde: "Not this time. No "Schiavone'isms" on this show."
Mr. Figaro: "Fine, fine. Well folks, we hope you enjoyed the
show and will join us next week as we kick off
OG-FPD Battlebowl 2005! See you then!"
