Mr. Clyde: "Hello and welcome to Emergence: Evolution. This
is the first round of the OG-Joshi Tournament
for two talented wrestlers to earn a spot in
the OG-Joshi Match at Evo.R."
Mr. Figaro: "We have 4 first round matches tonight and the
winners will face off at Emergence: Revolution
next week. The two winners of those matches
will have earned their spot at Evo.R and
will compete against each other."
Mr. Clyde: "And while competing in Evo.R is an honor in
it self, OG-Joshi wanted to give some extra
incentive to compete in that match. And so
the winner of the Evo.R match will get their
very own "OG-Joshi Evo.R Trophy."
Mr. Figaro: "And although we are both employees of the
wonderful Orochi-O's Cereal Corporation,
we do urge the winner of the Evo.R Trophy
NOT to put cereal or milk in it."
Mr. Clyde: "Did OG tell you to caution people about that?"
Mr. Figaro: "No, I came up with it myself!! A Figaro
public service message!"
Mr. Clyde: "I think the best public service message
is not to listen to such ramblings."
Mr. Figaro: "FINE...if you're going to be mean right
off the bat..."
Mr. Clyde: "No, I plan to be "nice" and immediately
transition into our first match of the
night. Azumi Oonishi faces off against
the very first OG-Joshi Champion,
Diane "Dizzy" Cavuto."
Mr. Figaro: "History buffs...and anyone with a memory
dating back a year, will recall that it
a year from this weekend, yesterday
actually, that OG-FPD held its second
PPV, Murderers Row. On that show, the
first OG-Joshi match was held for the
OG-Joshi Title in which Dizzy defeated
both Holly and Jo Ryder in a Triple
Threat match. A match that many have
called the best match in OG-FPD history."
Mr. Clyde: "And no doubt Dizzy would love to have
success a year later and compete for
the chance to have yet another honor
added to her young career, being
a part of Evo.R. But she will have to
make it past a very determined wrestler
in her own right, Azumi Oonishi."
Mr. Figaro: "Azumi Oonishi is coming off a loss
in a very close match at the OG-Joshi
Emergence PPV two weeks ago. Yoyo
Banzai, who we'll see later tonight
narrowly defeated her in a very
exciting encounter. I also should
point out that Dizzy also came up
short in her match against Holly."
Mr. Clyde: "We will not be seeing Holly in
this tournament due to Celes and
OG ruling her incapable of properly
representing OG-Joshi due to her
actions at Emergence. In fact, Celes
told us to keep Holly's mention at
a minimum so that she not gain too
many supporters for her cause."
Mr. Figaro: "You're supposed to say that with
the same sarcasm Celes told you.
It doesn't come across as funny
if you don't use sarcasm!!"
Mr. Clyde: "Dizzy is looking to prove tonight
that her loss to Holly had very
much to do with the attack she
suffered right before the match,
We've seen Dizzy beat Holly before
as she has beaten many others in
OG-Joshi. But she has never faced
off with Azumi Oonishi, a wrestler
who we see as a rising star."
Mr. Figaro: "Let's go into detail about the
many ways Dizzy and Azumi could
wrestle each other and trap each
other's tawt bodies in the ring..."
Mr. Clyde: "Let's get RIGHT to the match as
we have a lot to get to tonight,
and getting sidetracked is not
in our plans. Yes, you heard
that all right, no OrochiGoose
appearances tonight."
Mr. Figaro: "Can't argue with that..."
Match 1-1: Diane "Dizzy" Cavuto vs. Azumi Oonishi
*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Clyde: "Dizzy with an incredible manuever..."
Mr. Figaro: "What the hell was that!?"
Mr. Clyde: "She somehow managed to jump OVER
Azumi onto the top turnbuckle in
ONE leap. Then she balanced herself,
and jumped backwards, catching Azumi
with a hurracarrana for a pin."
Mr. Figaro: "Man, I don't know why, but seeing
that and hearing you say it makes
me want a cigarette!"
Mr. Clyde: "Eew...i suddenly feel so dirty..."
Mr. Figaro: "What matters is that Dizzy has picked
up the victory in an amazingly
exciting match and has advanced to
the next round! What a match!"
Mr. Clyde: "The two really gave their best out
there with some real nonstop action."
Mr. Figaro: "What do you mean "real" nonstop
action. I'd say it was tota..."
Mr. Clyde: "Shhh!"
Mr. Figaro: "Sorry, sorry.."
Mr. Clyde: "We have to commend Azumi for putting
on such a great fight against Dizzy
who is seen as the OG-Joshi Ace.
Azumi gave her heart out there
and has nothing to be ashamed of
in losing such a match to Dizzy."
Mr. Figaro: "I think Dizzy agrees with you..."
Mr. Clyde: "And now we're seeing some real
sportsmanship as Dizzy has come
over to Azumi and is shaking her
hand. The two exchange a look of
respect, pat each other on the back..."
Mr. Figaro: "Oh, go lower, go lower, this is so HOT!"
Mr. Clyde: "This has been an honorable display by
both women after a fantastic match."
Mr. Figaro: "It's a real ring of hon..."
Mr. Clyde: "Enough, enough. Orochi-O's lawyers
are already working around the
clock compensating for the last
year of Holly activities."
*END POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "And we are up to the second match for
the evening, and it's the first of
what I like to call the "Split Tag"
match from Emergence."
Mr. Clyde: "Those of you who saw Emergence..."
OG-Joshi Emergence
Mr. Figaro: "Pimpin ain't easy.."
Mr. Clyde: "Wh..WHAT?"
Mr. Figaro: "Ahem, those of you who saw Emergence
witnessed a thrilling tag team match
between Tigress Mask and Visper Karr
facing off against Jenny McLanahan
and perennial coffee drinker, Kaori
"HiGHliGHT of the NiGHT" NiGHT."
Mr. Clyde: "While Kaori and Jenny were victorious
in that match, Tigress and Visper
put up quite a fight. General Celes
wanted all 4 of these women in this
tournament and decided to make things
extra interesting by splitting up
the teams and having the opposing
sides face off against each other
in singles competition."
Mr. Figaro: "So the next two matches will feature
Visper Karr facing Jenny McLanahan
and then Tigress Mask facing Kaori
NiGHT. Let's get right to Visper
Karr vs. Jenny McLanahan. Drop
it like it's hot Clyde!"
Mr. Clyde: "Wh...where do you even come up with
these phrases, not to mention have
the nerve to say them?"
Mr. Figaro: "I've been watching MTV!!!"
Mr. Clyde: "Celes and I are worried about you,
you know. We think you've been
absorbing TOO much culture from
this world. We might have to
swap you out for your brother
just to let you get back to normal."
Mr. Figaro: "So no more straight droppin like
its hot? No mo lo-down ho's?"
Mr. Clyde: "You're on notice pal."
*Mr. Figaro gulps*
Mr. Clyde: "So let us talk briefly about Visper
Karr and Jenny McLanahan. There is
certainly history between them as
both have trained at the McPro Gym
as well as have wrestled on McPro
cards. Visper is even the McPro
"Pants" Champion. But this is
their first 1 on 1 encounger in
OG-Joshi. Furthermore, this is
Jenny's first actual 1 on 1 match
in OG-Joshi. She officially debuted
at Emergence as Kaori's mystery partner."
Mr. Figaro: "Jenny has a lot of momentum having just
debuted on a PPV and being part of the
victorious team. Not to mention being
handpicked by Kaori NiGHT, one of the
top wrestlers in OG-Joshi!"
Mr. Clyde: "But we can't overlook Visper Karr as
she did just recently beat Holly
to win that "Queen of Pants" McPro
Title...and those filthy gym shorts
from Generalissimo McBlackmage."
Mr. Figaro: "I get uneasy whenever you mention
a "Black Mage." Let's...not."
Mr. Clyde: "Jenny has a very fast paced style
and arsenal of lucha based
submissions. She appears to be
able to twist people in just
about any position..."
*Mr. Figaro takes a handkerchief and wipes his brow*
Mr. Clyde: "You...ok?"
Mr. Figaro: "It's getting hot in here..."
Mr. Clyde: "Well then, let me talk about Visper.."
Mr. Figaro: "That's not gonna help...she's like
a furnace of desire!"
Mr. Clyde: "Enough. Visper Karr is a deadly
kicker and is quite well versed
in suplexes as well. Her main
goal is to really, just kick
people in the face. A noble goal."
Mr. Figaro: "Well neither of them are Patty Sirloins,
but they both turn the heat up in the ring!"
Mr. Clyde: "I think each of them would have to combine
their food intakes for a day to match
Patty. She's certainly robust."
Mr. Figaro: "She's a lot to love, Clyde, a lot to love."
Mr. Clyde: "Let's get to Visper vs. Jenny...NOW."
Match 1-2: Visper Karr vs. Jenny McLanahan
*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "What a war these two just had!!"
Mr. Clyde: "These two battled it out for 19 minutes
to see who could advance to the next
round. Finally, Visper Karr managed
to apply a very quick victory roll
to get the flash pin. Jenny did
not see it coming and, by that point
in the match, probably did not have
a whole lot of energy to fight out of it."
Mr. Figaro: "You got that right Clyde. After going
for 19 minutes in a grueling match
like that, your body can just stop
working and be unable to kick out.
Jenny put up a helluva fight though.
She took Visper Karr, one of OG-Joshi's
fastest rising stars to the limit!"
Mr. Clyde: "I'm sure we'll see seeing them go
at it again many times in the future.
I hope so too as that was a very
fast paced match with a lot of will
shown by both competitors."
Mr. Figaro: "But for now, Visper Karr has advanced
into the next round of the tournament."
Mr. Clyde: "Visper Karr will be facing Dizzy next
weekend at Emergence: Revolution. The
winner of that match will go to Evo.R."
Mr. Figaro: "Now let's get to the rest of the matches
tonight to find out who will be competing
next week for that other Evo.R spot
in the same match Dizzy and Visper will
be competing to get into!"
*END POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Clyde: "And we come to the third match of the
evening, and perhaps the feud that has
the longest history behind it."
Mr. Figaro: "Great taste vs. less filling?"
Mr. Clyde: "?"
Mr. Figaro: "Soup or salad?"
Mr. Clyde: "No..I was referring to..."
Mr. Figaro: "Spit or sw..."
Mr. Clyde: "NO, NO. Tigress Mask vs. Kaori Ni.."
Mr. Figaro: "Well from what Holly told me. perhaps
Kaori NiGHT is involved in the great
feud I was about to mention..."
Mr. Clyde: "Tigress Mask and Kaori NiGHT have been
opponents for each other ever since
the "Kaori NiGHT Invitational Tournament
of last Fall. Tigress Mask won that
prestigious tournament and went on to
face Kaori NiGHT at the OG-FPD 2 Year
Anniversary show on 12/13/05. Kaori won
that match but Tigress came away looking
great for being able to compete at Kaori's
level. Tigress challenged Kaori to a tag
match, which they had at the aforementioned
Emergence PPV. This is a chance for Tigress
to get a singles win over Kaori to even
out their 1 on 1 record. Not to mention
the chance to advance to Evo.R."
Mr. Figaro: "And I think that's why this match favors
Kaori. Kaori has been around longer in
Joshi wrestling and has more experience
in these big match situations with so
much on the line. Also, since Kaori
is such a giving person, from what
Holly told me, you know she'd want to
give Evo.R a great match through her
presence there. She's a humanitarian!"
Mr. Clyde: "An appearance at Evo.R for Tigress would
be an amazing feat for her as well, one
that would further launch her career.
Keep in mind she has already won one
tournament in OG-Joshi, the KNIT, she
could just as well go on and win this
Evo.R tournament as well. But she first
has to get past Kaori NiGHT. Let's
see what transpires in their match."
Mr. Figaro: "What 'transpires?' Damn, Clyde. I might
say some sick things but you just drop
some weird verbal science sometimes."
Mr. Clyde: "Let's just get to the match."
Match 1-3: Tigress Mask vs. Kaori NiGHT
POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "And Kaori NiGHT was just unstoppable there!"
Mr. Clyde: "Kaori NiGHT looked very impressive in this
match and won with a devestating looking
brainbuster. Kaori NiGHT advances to
next week's Emergence: Revolution round."
Mr. Figaro: "Tigress looked good too and not to take
away from her, but honestly, Kaori knew
what to do in a huge match situation with
so much on the line. Kaori wants to be in
that OG-Joshi Evo.R match. As the self
proclaimed Queen of Pro Wrestling, she
feels she belongs there. And from her
performance here, it's hard to argue."
Mr. Clyde: "Tigress Mask still showed me how much
potential she has for the future though.
She might have lost here but don't
count her out of future OG-Joshi success.
She looked great at Emergence as well
and has an impressive arsenal of weapons
that makes her hard to match up with.
But Kaori used her superior experience
and big match poise and got the win."
Mr. Figaro: "It was interesting to see Kaori bounce
back from some very painful moves early
on. Tigress had Kaori reeling at points
during the match but Kaori shook it
off, regained her focus, and got the win.
Tigress has a lot to be proud of in this
match, and hopefully she can continue
to improve even more and one day beat Kaori."
Mr. Clyde: "Very sporting of you, Figaro."
Mr. Figaro: "Tigress has a great as..
Mr. Clyde: "Back to the show."
*END POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Clyde: "And our final match tonight is between
Yoyo Banzai and Lisa Robinson."
Mr. Figaro: "And like we said about Kaori/Tigress,
this match also has a lot of history to
it. It also dates back to the KNIT and
is one with a bit more aggression to it
then Kaori vs. Tigress."
Mr. Clyde: "Lisa and Yoyo plain do NOT like each other.
In one of the KNIT triple threat matches,
Yoyo had manipulated Diva Dynamite to
do a lot of her bidding and take out Lisa.
Yoyo saw Lisa as a stronger opponent and
used Diva to soften her up for that match
and the following match between Yoyo and
Lisa. A match that Yoyo ensured by turning
against Diva behind her back and stealing
the win. So not only was Lisa annoyed
that Yoyo and Diva had double-teamed her...
Mr. Figaro: ""
Mr. Clyde: "Ahem...she was also angry at how Yoyo
manipulated and double-crossed Diva,
who well, we all have our concerns about
as she's proven to be emotionally fragile."
Mr. Figaro: "Dude...the girl broke down crying in front
of General Celes...funniest thing I've
seen in months! Not just Diva crying
but Celes' reaction. Oh man...good stuff!"
Mr. Clyde: "Lisa's anger with Yoyo continued as Yoyo
targeted Lisa's injured leg during their
KNIT quarterfinal match. The leg that Yoyo
got Diva to help injure. Yoyo won the
match through targetting Lisa's leg. Lisa
and Yoyo also met up in a series of tag
team matches pitting Lisa and Azumi Oonishi
vs. Diva Dynamite and Yoyo."
Mr. Figaro: "In those matches, Yoyo did her best to
trick her opponents, and even protected
herself by sacrificing her teammate Diva!"
Mr. Clyde: "Diva should be just as angry at Yoyo as
Lisa is at this point."
Mr. Figaro: "If Diva can wipe the tears away, maybe
she can challenge Yoyo in the future!"
Mr. Clyde: "But right now, it's Lisa's turn to get
even. Keep in mind, that will not be
an easy task. Yoyo Banzai has shown more
then just trickery, she has shown skill.
She beat Azumi Oonishi at Emergence and
showcased her quick thinking, resiliency,
and athletic prowess. Yoyo is not someone
to take lightly in OG-Joshi."
Mr. Figaro: "Lisa Robinson has also showcased a lot
since her debut here. She is a tough
wrestler that isn't afraid to dig into
her, um, "bag of tricks."
Mr. Clyde: "Meaning?"
Mr. Figaro: "Meaning, she'll fork you until you blee...
Mr. Clyde: "While that sentence is true in the literal
sense...i'd rather you not use those words."
Mr. Figaro: "Fine, she'll "open you up" and..."
Mr. Clyde: "Lisa Robinson is a very focused individual
and will do what she needs to do for
victory. But in this match, it's also
quite personal between them."
Mr. Figaro: "I've talked to Yoyo and you know, she
doesn't seem all that concerned with Lisa.
She doesn't even seem to care that Lisa
has it in for her. She is the master of
mind games. Someone who makes it personal
but then doesn't feel it herself or let
it distract her from her goal."
Mr. Clyde: "If she is in that ring with someone who
is sticking a fork in her forehead, Yoyo
will let it get personal, believe me."
Mr. Figaro: "Well, let's see some forking!"
Mr. Clyde: "Let's get to the match."
Match 1-4: Lisa Robinson vs. Yoyo Banzai
*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "WHAT A MATCH!"
Mr. Clyde: "A hotly contested match with Yoyo
Banzai once again showing off her
mental edge over her opponents."
Mr. Figaro: "Lisa Robinson went for two powerbombs
in this match...and when you are facing
Yoyo...that's one too many."
Mr. Clyde: "Yoyo felt it and was able to reverse
it into a pin at the last second.
A very crafty manuever from a wrestler
that is showing a full range of talents
each time we see her. She is someone
to look out for in OG-Joshi and in
this tournament. Yoyo is on the rise."
Mr. Figaro: "And fall, and rise, and fall and rise!
Get it...like a "Yo-yo?"
Mr. Clyde: "Very clever."
*Mr. Figaro claps his hands together like a seal and laughs*
Mr. Clyde: "The question is can Yoyo outsmart and
outwrestle Kaori NiGHT next week?"
Mr. Figaro: "Well, you can never ever count Kaori
out of a match against anyone. But
Yoyo sure has a lot of momentum now.
We'll have to see who has the smarter
wrestling match next week, who can
be more opportunistic, and who can
get it done next week."
Mr. Clyde: "I have to note that Lisa Robinson
looked very good in this match. That
final powerbomb could have put Yoyo
away as Lisa was gaining some serious
momentum at that point. But Yoyo was
brilliant in her reversal."
Mr. Figaro: "I'm excited for next week!"
Mr. Clyde: "Next week we will have Dizzy vs. Visper
Karr and Kaori NiGHT vs. Yoyo Banzai."
Mr. Figaro: "Should be two excellent matches!"
Mr. Clyde: "Indeed."
*END POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "Four of the top names in OG-Joshi,
and four of the most well rounded
wrestlers! Wrestlers that can put
their opponents away with a variety
of moves, reversals, signature
maneuvers, the works!"
Mr. Clyde: "And we will have those matches for
you next week folks. The winners
will advance to face each other
at Evo.R in a match that represents
all of us at OG-Joshi."
Mr. Figaro: "We'll see you next week folks at
OG-Joshi Emergence: Revolution!"
