Mr. Clyde: "Welcome once again to the OG-Joshi Evo Tournament."
Mr. Figaro: "Tonight is the second part of this tournament,
OG-Joshi Emergence: REVOLUTION!"
Mr. Clyde: "And we have two extremely exciting...
Mr. Figaro: "LET'S REVOLUTE! Give a hoot, revolute!"
Mr. Clyde: "Looks like you're all hopped up on something...again."
Mr. Figaro: "I'm hopped up on this great tournament and
life in general Clyde! Its a great time to
be a overly enthusiastic giant of a man!"
Mr. Clyde: "That's...that's just great, Figaro."
Mr. Figaro: "I know, isn't it!! Gooooooo Team Orochi!"
Mr. Clyde: "Tonight we have two extremely exciting matches
with very much on the line. The winners of each
of these matches will face each other in
the OG-Joshi alotted match at Evo.R."
Mr. Figaro: "YEAH!"
Mr. Clyde: "And if that wasn't a big enough honor.."
Mr. Figaro: "And it IS!"
Mr. Clyde: "The winner of that match will get a special
OG-Joshi Evo.R Trophy, which may or may
not be used for eternal bragging rights."
Mr. Figaro: "Where's your warrior spirit, Clyde?! These
girls don't need that trophy to brag! The
girl that wins the trophy will fill it up
with liquer and drink with me til dawn!"
Mr. Clyde: "I sincerely doubt that will be the case."
Mr. Figaro: "That's your problem Clyde, no imagination!"
Mr. Clyde: "Now, let's get to the matches. They consist
of Diane "Dizzy" Cavuto taking on Visper
Karr and Kaori NiGHT taking on Yoyo Banzai."
Mr. Figaro: "I'd like to know what they will be taking off.."
Mr. Clyde: "All four woman had tough matches last week
at Emergence: Evolution but look to be
extremely focused tonight. Our first match
will be Dizzy taking on Visper Karr."
Mr. Figaro: "Dizzy has had a rough month with getting
attacked backstageat OG-Joshi: Emergence,
losing her match to Holly at that show,
and then also getting 'triple teamed' at
the McPro Vegas Show...in a match I was
victorious in, but that's hardly news!"
Mr. Clyde: "Yet through all that, she has managed to
stay optimistic, confident, and get a HUGE
victory over Azumi Oonishi last weekend to
advance to tonight's match. Dizzy has
gotten more intense over the last 6 months
and I think we saw what she could do last
week when in an even 1 on 1 situation against
someone who DIDN'T attack her before the match."
Mr. Figaro: "Agreed, what was Azumi thinking? Why the hell
didn't she take Dizzy's leg out last week
in the parking lot with a George Foreman grill!?"
Mr. Clyde: "wh...what?"
Mr. Figaro: "Those things are hella tough, Clyde!"
Mr. Clyde: "NO OUTSIDE PRODUCT ENDORSEMENTS."
Mr. Figaro: "Actually, that wasn't the point I was getting
at. I was going to transition into a truly
MOUTHWATERING Patty Sirloin joke thank you!"
Mr. Clyde: "Glad I stepped in then. Real glad."
Mr. Figaro: "As OrochiGoose's new bear friend has been
saying, you just made me a "sad panda."
Mr. Clyde: "That bear has already prevented ten
Goose-related lawsuits in the last two
weeks. I'm hoping he has an effect on you too.
Mr. Figaro: "Not bloody likely, old friend!"
Mr. Clyde: "Ok, so we all know what Dizzy, the first
OG-Joshi Champion is capable of in that
ring. Including stunning her opponents
with lightning fast intricate manuevers
like the "Spin Clyde" and the move she
beat Azumi with last week. Visper will
have to keep a close eye on exactly
where Dizzy is, every second of the match."
Mr. Figaro: "And I'll have to keep a close eye on Visper
every second of the match! I got us
covered Clyde, she won't disappear!"
Mr. Clyde: "Visper Karr has been voted "THE Woman
to watch in 2006" by no less then 4
insider pro wrestling magazines. Some
of them even believe she will be one
of the OG-Joshi wrestlers in the Evo match."
Mr. Figaro: "And with good reason. As she has been on
fire since the start of this year. She
literally wrestled away the McPro GHP
Title from Holly. And she now wears those
filthy pants on her head, which man, I gotta
tell you, turns me on like a freakin furnace!"
Mr. Clyde: "And Visper had an excellent showing at both
the OG-Joshi Emergence PPV and last week's
Emergence: EVolution show, beating Jenny
McLanahan in a match that tested both
women's endurance, drive, and desire."
Mr. Figaro: "So how do you see this match playing out?"
Mr. Clyde: "I think the obvious "tale of the tape here"
in terms of styles is that of Dizzy's lucha
speed, throwing quickness, and aerial agility
vs. Visper's bone breaking slams and brutal
kicks. But we also have to factor in more."
Mr. Figaro: "Dizzy's degree in physics?"
Mr. Clyde: "I guess that's always a threat to her
opponents if she starts to lecture them."
Mr. Figaro: "Then what is it Clyde!?"
Mr. Clyde: "Dizzy has been training heavily to add to
her already debilitating arsenal. Her
pipsqueak boyfriend Frog has been teaching
her his Frogsawa elbows. She has now become
quite adept and dangerous with them.
And we should not discount her suplexing
ability as well. She has an all around game.
Both girls match up well against each other."
Mr. Figaro: "Grr...Frog...I really hate that amphibian!"
Mr. Clyde: "Now, getting to Visper's ability, we should
keep in mind that Visper is quite adept at
overall striking: Specifically her kicks,
punches, and her sharp chops. Also, she has
a lot of moves on the mat that we haven't
even seen here yet. She has a technical
ability that is a sight to behold and
that gives her an advantage on the ground."
Mr. Figaro: "Oh, I'm betting on that Clyde, believe me!"
Mr. Clyde: "These two can really go in the RING and
I do not want to wait any longer to see
who will come out victorious in this match."
Mr. Figaro: "Yeah Clyde! Take the initiative!! Let's
get to the match!! YEAH!! PATTY!"
(Evo.R Tournament Round 2, Match 1)
Match 2-1: Diane "Dizzy Cavuto vs. Visper Karr
*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Clyde: "What an excellent match we just had there."
Mr. Figaro: "Dizzy gets the victory in around 16 minutes
with a beautiful back suplex hold!"
Mr. Clyde: "As we said before the match, Dizzy has a
complete game. In the final seconds of
that match, she used her lightning quick
speed to get out of a bad situation and
then turned it into her advantage with
that back suplex hold for the pin."
Mr. Figaro: "It all...it all happened so fast!"
Mr. Clyde: "And that is Dizzy's trademark. She has
so much in her arsenal, but the unifying
theme is that she does it all with a
speed that may be unmatched in OG-Joshi."
Mr. Figaro: "Visper Karr looked great out there tonight
though, we can't discount her efforts
despite her loss to Dizzy."
Mr. Clyde: "Agreed. Visper hung with the OG-Joshi Ace
for 16 minutes and was in literal striking
distance of a victory. But Dizzy was too
quick for her tonight and just brough too
much to this match to be defeated. Not
just physically, but mentally. Dizzy is
on a mission since last year, and she wants
the entire world to see how awesome she is."
Mr. Figaro: "Well, maybe if she stopped dating Frog and
started to, get some more action, we'd
be able to REALLY find out!"
Mr. Clyde: "I think Dizzy is focused on showing everyone
why she is the Ace of OG-Joshi, much to
Holly's chagrin, and for tonight, Visper's."
Mr. Figaro: "Well, Dizzy just beat someone who beat Holly
a month ago, so Holly won't be happy!"
Mr. Clyde: "But what matters now is Dizzy, as she has
made it to Evo.R. She will be one of two
wrestlers representing OG-Joshi, and based
on all we've seen from her this whole year, I
can't think of a better candidate then her."
Mr. Figaro: "She was one of the three original OG-Joshi
wrestlers, and the first Champion."
Mr. Clyde: "And now, let's see who she'll be facing at Evo.R."
*END POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "Time to get to Kaori NiGHT vs. Yoyo BANZAI!!!"
Mr. Clyde: "Arguably, two of the wrestlers who made the
biggest impact in matches on last week's show.
Yoyo was in what was probably the most
competitive match of Emergence: Evolution.
Her and Lisa Robinson had a war, and one
based on personal matters as well. But Yoyo
was able to outsmart and outwrestle her with
a beautiful powerbomb reversal at the end
of the match to gain the victory. Yoyo had
brought her mind games and...
Mr. Figaro: "Bring it girl, bring them games!"
Mr. Clyde: "Yoyo's mind games have led to her being
dominant over any opponent who plays them."
Mr. Figaro: "But Kaori NiGHT, she is also a master of
mind games. And she has not fallen for
Yoyo's. If anything, Kaori has shown
the power of her mental acuity and
influence by actually causing her
friend, Jenny McLanahan to break down
crying last week! And that's just cruel!"
Mr. Clyde: "Yes, not to mention she was the second girl
in the last two weeks who has had problems
handling her emotions. General Celes is
considering holding a seminar about keeping
one's emotions in check. Her and I will
co-teach it. And I'll sign YOU up, Figaro."
Mr. Figaro: "Oh yeah, I'd be a great teacher! I'd even
tutor the girls at home on how to
"hold it in."
Mr. Clyde: "Actually, you'd be a student."
Mr. Figaro: "I'm a student of the game Clyde, we all are."
Mr. Clyde: "Forget it. Just know that Kaori is not
prone to fall for mind games. She's
even been able to shake off Holly's
more acerbic insults at her."
Mr. Figaro: "Holly told me today that she attributed
any sexual success Kaori has ever had to
the great miracle worker, Sir Mix a Lot."
Mr. Clyde: "That's...harsh."
Mr. Figaro: "Yeah, well, Kaori will have a chance to
tone herself, if need be, in tonight's
match. Not saying I agree with Holly..."
Mr. Clyde: "Yeah, you'd take Kaori if you had the chance."
Mr. Figaro: "I'd take her on a magic CARPET ride!"
Mr. Clyde: "Ewww..."
Mr. Figaro: "Now, um..."
Mr. Clyde: "Aside from both their tendencies to play
mind games, they each have many other
attributes in the wrestling ring."
Mr. Figaro: "Kaori is a dangerous striker, an even
more dangerous high flyer, and yet can
finish you off in an instant with one
of her, yep, dangerous suplexes and slams!"
Mr. Clyde: "In fact, we'd like to point out that last
week we actually failed to point out just
how devestating that brainbuster was that
Kaori used to beat Tigress Mask."
Mr. Figaro: "It turns out that Kaori NiGHT used to
use that specific brainbuster as her
main finishing manuever!! She calls
it the "Decresendo"."
Mr. Clyde: "A very effective finisher as we saw
last week."
Mr. Figaro: "She busted it out, after not using
it for a while, just to ensure she
would beat Tigress Mask."
Mr. Clyde: "I think all their encounters in the
ring, especially at Emergence, gave
Kaori an in ring respect for Tigress.
And since Tigress was pushing so hard
in the match last week, Kaori wanted
to ensure her victory by using her
Decresendo brainbuster when she finally
had gotten a free second to do it.
Mr. Figaro: "Now that we've all seen it, we have
to figure Yoyo is going to do all
she can to either stop it, or, in
true Yoyo fashion, reverse it."
Mr. Clyde: "Along with being very adept at
reversing moves, Yoyo is also
great at evading them. Though
her speed and mental ability."
Mr. Clyde: "And Kaori will have to watch out for
Yoyo trying to do all that to every
move Kaori does. As well as watch out
for Yoyo's powerful strikes. Yoyo has
a very painful looking flying knee
as well as a great arsenal of punches."
Mr. Figaro: "She also is very adept at attacking
her opponent's legs. We saw what
she did to Lisa during the KNIT.
Kaori's legs are a bit stronger
then most though due to her
offensive kicking training."
Mr. Clyde: "But if Yoyo targets Kaori's legs,
that will take a substantial edge
OFF of Kaori's kicks as well as
soften her up. Attacking your
opponent's legs always has benefits."
Mr. Figaro: "Not to mention taking some of the
edge off Kaori's breakneck speed!"
Mr. Clyde: "So we truly have another great
matchup here, and neither woman
will be wary of doing what ever
they it takes to win this match."
Mr. Figaro: "So let's get to it OG-Joshinis!"
Mr. Clyde: "Didn't I tell you that wasn't
a good name for our fans?"
Mr. Figaro: "Yeah, and I didn't listen!"
Match 2-2: Kaori NiGHT vs. Yoyo Banzai
*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "And one of these women have won!
Mr. Clyde: "Uh, they probably guessed that."
Mr. Figaro: "Oh!! Then, uh scroll down more!"
*REAL POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "Now then!! Kaori NiGHT has won this match
with a spectacular manuever!"
Mr. Clyde: "Which she calls the NiGHTSault."
Mr. Figaro: "Heh heh, we're on top of her move names
THIS week!...we hope, but yeah, we are!"
Mr. Clyde: "What I liked about it was how she set
it up. She first hit a painful looking
stomach drop, causing Yoyo to actually
writhe in pain, rolling over to her
back on the mat. As she was doing
that, Kaori readied herself for
the NiGHTSault and hit it before
Yoyo had a chance to get her bearings
and avoid or reverse it. Kaori used
her significant speed to cause Yoyo
to be unable to use her evasion and
countering tactics."
Mr. Figaro: "Wow, the way you said that all, it
certainly made that ending flow! After
all, it wasn't randomly generated
in a video game or anything!"
Mr. Clyde: "Quiet, you."
Mr. Figaro: "Yoyo Banzai has absolutely nothing
to be ashamed of in this match. And
I think she should also be considered,
along with Visper Karr, as one of the
rising stars of OG-Joshi in 2006."
Mr. Clyde: "Absolutely. She battled it out with
Kaori tonight. Kaori NiGHT, a wrestling
icon and self-proclaimed "Queen of
Professional Wrestling." But it took
Kaori a LOT to put Yoyo away. And
Yoyo would not back down at any second.
She would not be intimidated at all.
In fact, she was one of the only
OG-Joshi Wrestlers not intimidated by
Kaori NiGHT, before or during the match."
Mr. Figaro: "Yoyo has a very bright future. But right
now, it's Kaori's future that we must
discuss. As...wow...I think..."
Mr. Clyde: "You can say it, we're all thinking it."
Mr. Figaro: "We have a DREAM MATCH on our hands!!!"
Mr. Clyde: "Not only are Dizzy and Kaori NiGHT
two of THE biggest names in OG-Joshi,
and Joshi Wrestling in general. but
they have never faced each other
in a one on one match before."
Mr. Figaro: "The only times they were ever in the
same ring were in a tag match before
Venemous Ties and in a 6 Joshi Tag
over last summer. And in that Tag
match, they were actually on the
same team! That caused Kaori some
chagrin actually, as she didn't
really want to be on the "Team Ryder"
side. But the only time they actually
faced off was when Dizzy teamed with
Alicia Gordon to take on Haley Cannon
and Kaori NiGHT. But that was just
a tag match, and they didn't have
the chance to go against each other
for very long at all."
Mr. Clyde: "This will be an epic meeting between
them, and it will happen on one
of the grandest stages possible,
Evo.R. General Celes must be
very happy that OG-Joshi will be
providing Evo.R with this dream match."
Mr. Figaro: "I can't wait, Clyde. This...this is
going to be AWESOME!!!!"
Mr. Clyde: "We are now officially on the road
to Evo.R with a dream match."
*END POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Clyde: "We hope you enjoyed both Evo.R
tournament shows. We will be back
to our regular Voltage schedule
starting Sunday, April 9th."
Mr. Figaro: "And since Evo.R isn't until late
April, the two OG-Joshi wrestlers
that won tonight and are headed
to Evo.R, will certainly be
conversing with each other!"
Mr. Clyde: "I look forward to what they will
say to each other, and all of the
fans. And I look forward to their
Evo.R match. Should be a classic."
Mr. Figaro: "But for now, see you on April 9th
for an exciting episode of Voltage!"
