VTJT - Joshi Title Match: Diane "Dizzy" Cavuto (c) vs. Haley Cannon
VTJR - Jo Ryder Farewell match: Jo Ryder vs. Holly
VTJM - Kaori NiGHT vs. Alicia Gordon
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*We open to see two green snake shaped pillars. They face each
from opposite sides of the entrance ramp. All of a sudden,
venom colored pyro erupts from each head as the crowd goes wild*
Mr. Figaro: "Hello and welcome to OG-FPD's biggest PPV ever,
Venomous Ties!!!"
Mr. Clyde: "We have a huge card for you tonight, with two very
big title matches, including the OG-FPD Joshi Title"
Mr. Figaro: "Tonight you will see these SIX matches"
*A graphic appears on the screen with the matches*
Venemous Ties Match Line-up
Mr. Clyde: The first of our matches tonight comes from our
very exciting OG-FPD Joshi Division. This match
has been unofficially billed the "HiGHliGHT of
the NiGHT" match. That is because the two
combatants, Alicia Gordon and Kaori NiGHT,
have a bit of a rivalry over who ...
Mr. Figaro: "A "BIT" of a rivalry? Clyde?! These two women
have been battling it out for months now over
who is the more exciting and downright better
wrestler! And it all comes to a close tonight
as they face off in their very first one on
one match! At a PPV nonetheless!"
Mr. Clyde: "Kaori NiGHT is no stranger to huge matches.
This will be her second OG-FPD PPV and yet
another big match in what can be called one
of THE most impressive careers in Joshi
wrestling. When you think of Joshi wrestlers,
Kaori NiGHT immediately comes to mind."
Mr. Figaro: "Alicia Gordon, on the other hand, is just about
beginning her career. She has a very
impressive martial arts background but has
only been wrestling for 2 years. She came to
OG-FPD from the LAWL promotion after she won
numerous matches, titles, and fans. And despite
her lack of years wrestling, she has shown herself to
be very talented in that ring. She has already
amassed a few victories. In fact, she is
currently undefeated in OG-FPD Joshi in both
singles and tag competition. She also posseses
a very upbeat attitude and is looking forward to
going all out for our PPV fans in this match."
Mr. Clyde: "And Kaori wants to prove that she is still one of
the best despite this new crop of Joshi wrestlers"
Mr. Figaro: "Can Alicia out-hiGHliGHT Kaori? Can Alicia BEAT
Kaori? Can we continue pronouncing words in that
odd "LiGHT" way throughout this match?"
Mr. Clyde: "Well, we'll find out the answers to all of these
questions, especially the first two, coming up
now. As we are ready for our first match of the
PPV: Alicia Gordon vs. Kaori NiGHT."

*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "Kaori NiGHT wins! What a match!!"
Mr. Clyde: "In the end, it was Kaori NiGHT's technical
proficiency that won her the bout. Both
women seemed quite entertaining though in
their HighliGHT rivalry throughout the match."
Mr. Figaro: "I'd give the edge to Kaori in THAT rivalry
though, at least for tonight. And there is
no doubt as to who is the better wrestler
at this juncture. Alicia put on a great fight
but Kaori is too experienced for her."
Mr. Clyde: "But a relative lack of experience is just
something that Alicia will eventually
get past. As she certainly has the skills
to make it big in Joshi wrestling."
Mr. Figaro: "There is no doubt there, Clyde. She has the tools"
Mr. Clyde: "But I think Alicia may be suffering from a bit
of a styles identity crisis"
Mr. Figaro: "Um, she thinks she's AJ Styles?"
Mr. Clyde: "No...no, not at all, actually. Ugh."
*Mr. Figaro chuckles loudly*
Mr. Clyde: "What I'm referring to is that Alicia is not
quite sure whether she wants to be a striker
or a lucha wrestler. There ARE ways to
properly incorporate both styles. But sometimes
it is hard for a new wrestler to find that
specific balance they are comfortable with."
Mr. Figaro: "Well, don't let that issue take anything
away from Kaori. Even if Alicia was focused on
one style, I don't think she could have beaten
an intensely skilled and focused Kaori NiGHT...um, TONiGHT"
Mr. Clyde: "I agree with you on that, but I do think Alicia
needs to continue to find her styles balance."
Mr. Figaro: "So what you are saying... *chuckle* ...is that
Alicia is suffering from... *louder chuckle*
Mr. Clyde: "Don't say it please..."
Mr. Figaro:" A "Styles Clash?"
*End Spoilers*
Mr. Clyde: "And now we cut backstage to..."
Mr. Figaro: "NO!! Not OrochiGoose! PLEASE!"
Mr. Clyde: "Rather then break the news, i'll say nothing"
*OrochiGoose is sitting backstage, wearing a pair of oversized,
though for him just right, sneakers. He is whistling while rocking
his legs back and forth. He has cotton candy in one hand (and all
over the side of his cheek...and stomach...and arm...) and is
wearing a "Where's the beef" t-shirt with miscellaneous stains*
OrochiGoose: "Hi kids!!! I'm here to talk to you all about
the hidden dangers of not having Goose babysitters!"
Mr. Clyde: "We discussed this already and said you will NOT
talk about this. We do not want to have another lawsuit..."
OrochiGoose: "Ok, ok, *gives a cartoony laugh* hoohoohooHOO!!
Then, instead, we'll turn my frown upside-down
and talk about tonight's big event!"
OrochiGoose: "Venemous Ties is a special time in a Goose's
life because its when we learn to tie our shoes!"
*OrochiGoose takes out a pair of shoelace ties, each emblazoned
with the Venemous Ties logo, and snakes the laces through his
very loud looking, colorful sneakers. After accidentally tying
his right ankle to the bench, and having OG-FPD staff untie
him, he finally gets the laces in right and smiles*
OrochiGoose: "So first thing we have to do in order to tie one's
sneakers... is to get somebody to help me do it!"
(OG-FPD match takes place)
Mr. Figaro: "No doubt it was a great match and night so far."
Mr. Clyde: "And I'm getting word that we have backstage..."
Mr. Figaro: "No...not OrochiGoose again!!"
Mr. Clyde: "Don't worry, we're cutting backstage to Holly..."
Mr. Figaro: "Oh thank the norse deities!"
*Camera cuts backstage to Holly sitting in her dressing room with OG*
OrochiGeese: "Holly...are you ready?"
*Holly sits on her bench, staring downwards at the floor*
OG: "Holly...look alive!"
*Holly jumps up and delivers a sharp high kick to one of the
swinging locker doors...sending it careening from its
locker and onto the floor with a crash*
Holly: "I've been ready for years, Geese...
OG: "I brought this for you..."
*OG takes out a broomstick from one of the lockers and, with
a sick twisted smile, lovingly hands it to Holly*
*Holly receives it with an even greater smile and breaks it
over her knee. Then she walks out of the lockerroom with
a cold, focused face that makes even OG shiver a bit*
Mr. Figaro: "I would hate to be Jo Ryder now..."
Mr. Clyde: "Green isn't really your color anyway..."
Mr. Figaro: "Heh. And it looks like its now time for
our special attraction "Jo Ryder Farewell
Match" between Jo Ryder and our very own, Holly."
Mr. Clyde: "As we said back at the 9/10 Two match show,
trying to properly recap the Jo Ryder/Holly
feud is quite a feat. These two have been
literally at each other's throats for almost
a full year."
Mr. Figaro: "And years ago, they were IN each other's
throats!"
Mr. Clyde: "Yes...and THAT is when all of this really
started. Years ago, a young Robin Walker,
who now refers to herself as Holly, met
Jo Ryder, a successful local businesswoman.
From there, Holly began envying her and
got a job working for her. The envy turned
into a friendship which then blossomed into
a romantic relationship. After they continued
getting sexually closer, Holly gave up everything
in her life in order to be with Jo. Everything,
including some of her integrity, as she allowed
Jo to perform brutal acts on her involving
broomstick penetration and other sick things.
After this perversity, the unthinkable happened:
Jo demanded that Holly leave and never come
back. This episode was the defining period of
Holly's life as it shaped who she became, and now is."
Mr. Figaro: "But Holly never thought she'd see Jo again,
at least that is until she bumped into her on
the Joshi pro wrestling circuit. Holly actually
wrestled Jo Ryder as part of a Team Ryder Expo
show and then, as they say, "it was ON".
Mr. Clyde: "Holly began making very personal insults and
allegations towards Jo Ryder. No one, including
Jo, knew why or how Holly got her information.
Eventually Holly, after 6-8 months of acerbic
comments, began telling her story to everyone
about her above-mentioned past with Jo. Although
Jo did not readily admit to it, she did
acknowledge that it was possible and that she
felt responsible for what happened to Holly,
whether Jo remembered it or not."
Mr. Figaro: "This led to a match on September 10th between the
two. Although Jo Ryder won with her finisher, the
Ryder Crossface, Holly came closer then ever to
beating Jo Ryder in a one on one match. Holly
has achieved victory over Jo in some matches, such
as knocking her out cold and eliminating her from the
Murderers Row Joshi Title match. AND beating her in the
Team Orochi-O's vs. Team Ryder elimination match.
A match where Clyde, Geese, and I did our fair
share too, of course. But Holly has yet to win
a one on one match against Jo Ryder. And with
Jo Ryder planning on taking some time away from
actively wrestling...making this her last OG-FPD
Joshi match for a while...this will be Holly's
last chance to get this decisive singles's win."
Mr. Clyde: "Jo Ryder wants to finally get Holly off of her
back so that they can both move on from what
happened. And if Jo beats Holly one more time,
perhaps Holly will finally drop this matter. And Jo
certainly wants her final match here for a while to end in victory."
Mr. Figaro: "I don't know if Holly will rest until she beats
Jo. There is so much emotion...built up over
years, riding on this match! Holly wrestled with
Jo extremely well during the last match and
really punished her in that ring. Tonight Holly
is looking for victory and overall revenge. In
fact, tonight Holly is dressed in the same
outfit she wore back when she interned with Jo.
She is doing so in order to further jog Jo's
memory, and for vengeance to come full circle."
Mr. Clyde: "This weekend I saw, firsthand, the tension between
Jo and Holly. They agreed to have a face to face
meeting at a local coffeeshop. For those who did
not get a chance to see what happened, see:
Jo Ryder and Holly face to face
Mr. Figaro: "The things said by both women were beyond the realm
of just a "rivalry". This is very much a blood feud
and tonight promises to be the final chapter.
Mr. Clyde: "This has been one of the defining feuds of OG-FPD.
It has produced arguably the best match we have
ever seen in the 9/10 match. And now...for your
and our viewing pleasure...we present to you,
Joann Laine Ryder vs. Robin "Holly" Walker."

*POST MATCH SPOILERS* (seriously, SEE THIS MATCH)
Mr. Figaro: "And...it is over..."
Mr. Clyde: "25 minutes later, Holly has finally done it."
Mr. Figaro: "Let me be the first to congratulate our
Orochi-O's friend Holly for FINALLY getting
a "Ryder" off of her back! She did it!!"
Mr. Clyde: "Jo Ryder wrestled a brilliant match, she
really did. Any other night she would have
been victorious against anyone. But tonight,
Holly would not give up, she would not come
out empty handed. She used every bit of
skill that she had. Tonight was Holly's night."
Mr. Figaro: "Tonight Robin Walker has beaten Jo Ryder."
Mr. Clyde: "No..."Robin" didn't do it...Holly did. It
was Holly who went through this last 9
months of brutal training...of working harder
then she ever did before...with you, with me,
with Geese... to become stronger in that ring.
She might have gotten revenge FOR who she used
to be. But it was who she BECAME...who she IS
NOW, that won that match. "Robin Walker" was an
unfortunate, naive victim. Holly is a skillful
aggressor...it was her ability and training
that won that match. Not her long time past."
Mr. Figaro: "Well said Clyde, well said. And congratulations
to both women for providing yet another match
of the year candidate for all of us."
*OrochiGeese walks down the entrance ramp and gets into the ring.
He hugs Holly tightly and raises her arm in victory as Holly's
theme music "Kick him when he's down" blares from the speakers.*
Mr. Clyde: "This is a great moment for Holly, I'm sure she
has dreamed of it for months now, and some form
of it for years. Holly has now conquered her
greatest personal demon and her greatest life
adversary. And if you look at her now, you
can say for sure that she is stronger because
of her struggle. The only question is: what next?"
Mr. Figaro: "For now, I think she deserves to celebrate. And
I know for sure we're all gonna be partying like
crazy later!! Maybe not you, you don't really 'party'"
Mr. Clyde: "I am happy for Holly, and am honored to have seen
such an excellent match. Let's not take anything
away from Jo Ryder...she again showed why she is
such a force in that ring. And although Holly
may not feel this way, I do look forward to seeing
Jo's competitive return to OG-FPD Joshi whenever
that may be. She certainly helped OG-FPD Joshi
establish itself as the premiere Joshi fed."
Mr. Figaro: "I think OrochiGeese mentioned something about
that actually...and a surprise for Jo during
the next Voltage, on September, October 16th."
*END SPOILERS*
*Commercials for the OG-FPD 2 year Anniversary show on 12/13/05!*
Mr. Figaro: "That is going to be a huge show from what OG told
me. He is going to announce the main event of
that show during next week's Voltage. It seems
as if the 12/13 show will be almost a mini PPV."
Mr. Clyde: "But now it is time for our main event tonight.
The OG-FPD Joshi Champion, Diane "Dizzy"
Cavuto will be defending her title against the
#1 Contender, Haley Cannon."
Mr. Figaro: "Dizzy won the Joshi Title back at Murderers Row
on March 18th. She's defended it against Holly
and has been very successful in many tag team
matches along the way. Dizzy has shown herself
to be a true Joshi Champion and, in doing so,
really helped give this new belt immediate
credibility through her defenses and actions."
Mr. Clyde: "Haley Cannon won the #1 contendership by beating
Kaori NiGHT at the Darkness Falls PPV. Just like
Dizzy, Haley has carried herself with dignity
and good sportsmanship since joining OG-FPD. She
is an MMA submission expert, something Dizzy has never
faced in the ring before. Haley is extremely
intense in that ring and is a wrestler first and
foremost. She also refuses to pin as she belives
the only true victory comes from submission or
knockout. But will her refusal to pin get in
the way of a chance to win the title if a good
pinning opportunity comes up?"
Mr. Figaro: "And don't underestimate Dizzy's submission skills
as well. Although she does not have the same
MMA experience as Haley, Dizzy has a lot of
experience with lucha submissions. She is also
probably the quicker one here and more dominant
with aerial maneuvers. She has to do her best
to stay off the ground and keep moving. Haley's
grappling is a sight to behold for us, but one
that Dizzy may not find so enjoyable."
Mr. Clyde: "Haley's main target point will be the leg. Not
only is that where her Lancashire Death Trap
finisher targets, but its also the smartest
way to take Dizzy off her game. Dizzy, as fast
as she is, relies on her leg strength and foot
speed. Taking that out of the equation would
hurt Dizzy's arsenal as well as soften her up
for that devestating LDT. Dizzy, needs to
use her speed early on to avoid Haley's leg
attacks and to pepper Haley with offence.
Dizzy has a very varied moveset, but her main
key is speed. If she utilizes it and sticks
to her gameplan of keeping Haley off balance,
then Dizzy should be able to wrestle her match."
Mr. Figaro: "Of note especially in THIS match are the two
women's attitude's towards each other.
Mr. Clyde: "Unlike every other match on this card tonight,
these two women seem to respect each other a
great deal and there has been no hostility.
They both want to be the best and hold that
title, but they have both complimented each
other on being great competitors. We should
see a clean fight here..but don't mistake a
"clean fight" as one that isn't intense. I'm
sure each will do what they need to do to
win the match, and take each other to the limits."
Mr. Figaro: "Or....will the Joshi Title be such a temptation
that either woman would bend the rules just
to get it, and fight dishonorably? I don't really
think that's in either girl's character. But
I can assure you that neither girl will hold back
from using their arsenal to the fullest extent,
no matter what the results will be."
Mr. Clyde: "There are no limits when a match like this, when
a TITLE like this, is on the line. And with that,
it is now time for our MAIN EVENT of the evening.
[Code: VTJT ]
OG-FPD JOSHI TITLE MATCH: Haley Cannon vs. Dizzy (c)
MAIN EVENT: OG-FPD JOSHI TITLE MATCH
*POST MATCH SPOILERS*
Mr. Figaro: "We have a NEW CHAMPION!! Haley Cannon has
defeated Dizzy via tapout with the LDT!"
Mr. Clyde: "Haley's LDT put so much pressure on Dizzy's
leg, the leg that Haley has been targetting
all match, that Dizzy's leg appears to be
hurt. Dizzy had to tap out from the pain."
Mr. Figaro: "We're not sure if her leg is broken, it appears
Dizzy is still able to walk, but she definitely
has much discomfort. Haley's LDT is devestating."
Mr. Clyde: "Haley has made the former Joshi Champion tap out
and has earned the title. Ladies and gentlemen,
your NEW OG-FPD Joshi Champion: Haley Cannon."
Mr. Figaro: "And what a match it was Clyde! Going nearly
19 minutes of pure action! Another OG-FPD
PPV main event that exceeded expectations.
Another match of the year candidate. I think
Holly might be pissed that this match could
have stolen her match's thunder!! Kaori too!"
Mr. Clyde: "All 3 Joshi matches tonight have been excellent.
That is why our Joshi division is held so highly
in esteem by us and our fans. These women get it
done in every match they've been in. And what
a match to start Haley Cannon's reign...and
for Dizzy to have in her resume as well."
Mr. Figaro: "Dizzy wrestled a great match, and she was truly
an excellent champion. We'll have to see how her
leg is, and what her plans are now. Will she
ask Haley for a rematch? I'm sure Haley would
give one to her. Or will Dizzy go onto other
OG-FPD Joshi prospects? Maybe we'll find out
next week at the 10/16 Voltage."
Mr. Clyde: "And if Dizzy is not going to be Haley's first
challenger for that title she now holds proudly,
who will be? I'm sure OG will sort this out."
*In the meantime, Haley Cannon stands in the ring with her
new OG-FPD Joshi Championship belt, and waves to fans*
*End Spoilers*
Mr. Figaro: "And that just about does it for Venemous Ties.
We hope you enjoyed all of the action tonight
and we look forward to seeing you NEXT SUNDAY
at a VERY important Voltage. OrochiGeese will
have many announcements to make and hopefully
we'll hear more about the Joshi Title picture."
Mr. Clyde: "Thanks for watching the PPV and we'll see you
all next weekend folks. Bye now."

show and then, as they say, "it was ON".

Bye now."
