We cut into the press conference room at Orochi-O's Inc, where we have a man becoming regular in OG-FPD - Twinky McLanahan - meeting with OG-FPD official (and OG-Joshi General), General Celes...
[Twinky:] Hello, all you peoples out there! I've been
invited to speak by the honorable General Celes,
because see... I guess you've seen the "Donnybrook"
main event which saw McPro superstar Bak Fu hand Samoa
Joe his first loss in OG-FPD - not just his first
loss, but a loss by SUBMISSION! People will say it
wasn't REALLY a submission because he was pretty much
dead on his feet, so it was more of a ref stoppage,
but from my angle? Totally a tap out.
[General Celes:] That said, if we could make this more expediant...?
[Twinky:] OH, right! See, Bak Fu liked fighting Samoa
Joe - Samoa Joe might be angry and want to come
STORMING into McLanahan Pro, but see... to be
completely honest... McPro's a little uh, shaky right
now. We've got our problems, just as OG-FPD has its
own - and we can't afford to have people just randomly
running in and attacking people.
So, we came up with a compromise that'll make
EVERYBODY happy - a nice big match at the December
13th show!
See, it's gonna happen like this: "Donnybrook" was
like a wimpy little brother compared to the kinds of
intensity we can bring in the ring with four people -
SO LETS DOUBLE THAT! A four on four SURVIVOR rules tag
match, a SERIES going onwards through the entire
match! Why, this could become the most horribly
one-sided match ever, or it could be the EPIC EVENT
that people have been waiting for!
[General Celes:] As Mr. McLanahan specializes in
babble, let me simplify: A survivor rules tag match
will have four men on both team - when one is made to
submit, or is pinned, they will be eliminated. The
winning team will be the one who, fittingly, survives.
[Twinky:] Obviously, Orochi Geese and Samoa Joe are
going to want to be on the opposing team, and today, I
have the HONOR to announce Team McLanahan Pro: Myself,
Twinky McLanahan; Mr. Head Drop, Bak Fu; Mr. No
Nickname, Eddie Swan; and the fourth man... McLanahan
Pro's Golden Boy, Nick Strife!
[General Celes:] Nick Strife? Who may I ask is that?"
[Twinky:] Just you wait and see! Nick Strife is an up
and coming name in the world of pro (e)wrestling, and
fittingly, he's my apprentice - the best men in pro
wrestling aren't known for who they faced and what
they did: they're known for the legacy they leave!
Nick Strife forwards that, taking my "True Path Of Pro
Wres," Snack Road, and turning it into a way of
competition.
[General Celes:] Because of the volatility of these
men involved, we'll hear the official announcement of
the Orochi Army team at a later point in time. It is
already due to the issues between Mr. McLanahan
and OrochiGeese that they could not BOTH be present
here today, without fear of another brawl breaking out.
But I have confidence that Geese will announce his
Survival team at the next Voltage on November 12th.
Thank you, Mr. McLanahan, for your time."
*The assorted members of the (e)wrestling press assembled in the room start snapping photographs and try to ask questions, but Celes and Twinky simply leave. The Goose is sent in to clear the room.*
