The August 2008 Open show is online! Blog too!Here are the matches: 1 - (T) Gene Starr vs. Park Hyun Soo 2 - Hank Panky trial series: Hank Panky vs. Corey O'Brian 3 - Trial by Fire 2: Dambman vs. Vert Triangle vs. Perfectshawn Stephens vs. Dude Thunder 4 - Jakob Furis vs. Indy James 5 - (T) Elvis Archibal vs. Crimson Tide 6 - (T) Jang Bae vs. Elader 7 - SwashBuckLAWLers vs. GeNEON 8 - (T) Kyle Walker vs. Bak Fu We have seven video matches and four of those are Nexus Tournament matches. We also have the debuts of five (count' em, five!) singles wrestlers and one tag team!! There's also a heaping plate full of Furis shenanigans (for those that like such distasteful things) and a huge main event! Enjoy the show

HOLY MOON ROCKS!! The fourth show of the Universal Battalion 2008 is online!! Tonight's Card:Special UBL Reserve Exhibition matchBlock B matches:Mad Gear Gang vs. Legitimate Businessman's Club Team BATT vs. Team NDP Team McPro vs. Freedom Brigade Interblock Match: Delphin Army vs. Los Salseros Americanos Block C Matches:PTFW vs. Black Venom BINGO-1 Heroes vs. Los Rudos Infernos Team Moon Gas 200 Yen vs. ARMADA This show has been a long time coming and I hope everyone bears with the size of it. (It's unlikely I'll do an all-write-up show again but FPR skimped on a lunar arena.) I do not exaggerate when I say a cosmic incident happens on this show, not to mention the main events of both Blocks and some lunar lunacy (Blogspot is supposed to have maintenance tonight at 8pm PCT for 10 minutes but should be fine after that. There are no vids for the show though so no "embedded" advantage for using blogspot anyway.)

While I expect future shows to be shorter (and less rambly), I wanted to give a bigger show here since it's been so long since the Moon show or since I really posted a show at all. Block C matches:Fatman Pro Wresling vs. Team SMN Canada Brothers vs. Orochi Army PCW Originals vs. Dod Squod Interblock Match: Clan of the Sun vs. Los Rudos Infernos Block D Matches:Los Salseros Americanos vs. BINGO-1 Heroes TMG 200Y vs. Black Venom Pure Technical F'n Wrestling vs. ARMADA Battalion action returns in a somewhat shorter format in the hopes of this thing finishing before 2010!! The PCW vs. Dod match is not to be missed and we're one show away from a Dod vs. Orochi Army cataclysm, provided Orochi Army doesn't implode before then Also, LRI antics and crowd control problems!

Block D matches:Los Salseros Americanos vs. Los Rudos Infernos Black Venom vs. ARMADA Pure Technical F'n Wrestling vs. Team Moon Gas 200Y Interblock Match: SNUH vs. BINGO-1 Heroes Block A Matches:Team KABOOM vs. Team 4CPW Cuban Assassins vs. Busch Brothers J.U.S.T.I.C.E. vs. Snake Mountain Battalion action returns to it's original home in Bakumatsu Arena and features a big main event involving 3 UBL Originals. As the league winds down, this show features some matches that will eliminate certain teams from having any statistical chance at winning their blocks. Also a special interview with a figure from UBL's past. There are just three shows left after this one and we may just finish by 2011! Yea ginormous leagues!
