LAWL puts the sizzLAWLe into the season with Summer SpectacuLAWLer 2008!!
After the shocking events of LAWLiday 2007, two huge main events have been signed! One event so controversial that it won't even be put in front of the usual impressionabLAWL audience!!
At LAWLiday, Marie Reyes challenge her longtime enemy and schoolyard bully Cynthia San Martino to a CAGE match! However, LAWL head Gloria Reyes refuses to have such a barbaric and violent match on the hoLAWLowed (??) sacred ground of the LAWLatorium!! So the good folks of Orochi-O's has stepped in to film this match in front of their OWN audience on the same night in a different arena. And so, this match WILL be featured on the Orochi-O's produced DVD of the show!! Alicia Gordon will be allowed to be in Marie's corner, while Grace will be in Cynthia's in case either competitor suffers too much damage.
For the rest of the show taped in front of the usual LAWLitorium audience, we bring you THESE matches!
- Main event: Jenny McLanahan/Gloria Reyes vs. Holly/Juli Krieger
At LAWLiday 2007, Holly led her team to victory against HomeLAWL Security and, in doing so, earned herself a shot at any LAWL title she chose. But before that match will take place at the next show, Holly accepted the challenge of Gloria Reyes for a tag match to be held for SpectacuLAWLer. Watch as former OMG Champion and LAWL Legend, Gloria Reyes teams with new OMG Champion, Jenny McLanahan to face the monster Juli Krieger and the OG-Joshi World Champion and self-proclaimed "Ace of Joshi Wrestling" Holly.
- 1337 Title Match: Kat Black vs. Lucy Cutlass
Kat Black has earned this shot in two ways. First, by defeating FIASUKO at LAWLiday as well as many other LAWL opponents in the last year. Secondly, by directly receiving Alicia Gordon's blessings to take this match in lieu of Alicia's own guaranteed rematch after losing the title to Lucy. This is due to Alicia's desires to be in Marie's corner later that night and hope that Kat can claim the title for ROFL. Lucy Cutlass is the new 1337 Champion after questionably beating Alicia and just narrowly retaining her title against Pea Shooter at the LAWL + LLAMMA = Life show. But can Lucy defeat a woman with the momentum and skill of Kat Black?
- Open Tag challenge: After dispensing of all their other competition since winning the titles, A/S/L Champions, the Jacquelyn-Hyde Connection, invite any willing tag team to face them in a non-title match.
- ScrambLAWL match: Kata Mary vs. Pea Shooter vs. FIASUKO
Three up and comers face off for a big prize! Whoever wins this "1 fall to a finish" match will get a guaranteed 1337 Title shot at the next show! Pea Shooter almost tasted victory against Lucy Cutlass but fell just short. FIASUKO impressed the world in her competitive match with Kat Black at LAWLiday. And Kata Mary is regaining back some of her old momentum thanks to the support of her fans.
We will also feature the in-ring debuts of new LAWL wrestlers: Maxine Warner, Patricia Jackson, and Apple Betty!! Don't miss LAWL Summer SpectacuLAWLer coming to a DVD store near you in early September!!
