New promo's solid as always Geese, but I'm confused regarding Alicia's life being "ruined". Holly goes on and on about Alicia's "remaining dignity", Jean Carter acts awkward around Alicia, etc. What happened with Alicia?

Well it's a very long story and you'd want to check out the past shows to really get the full picture but as a summary:
1) Juli Krieger joins OG-Joshi under the guise of a peaceful competitor. This is in 2005 I think.
2) Juli Krieger almost cripples Alicia Gordon (who is still a rookie in OG-Joshi) in a match shortly after Juli's debut. Alicia has a broken neck and is close to never wrestling again. She spends months in the hospital.
3) Alicia changes from a mixture of happy-go-lucky and competitive (in a face way) to much darker as she wants to avenge herself against Juli and can only do so by becoming more serious and violent.
4) It is revealed later on that Holly was the one behind the attack on Alicia due to a grudge started at a LAWL show. (When Alicia and Marie "kicked" Holly out of LAWL by embarrassing her)
5) Alicia wants immediate revenge on Holly and wants to do to her what Holly had Juli to do Alicia.
6) Alicia's HAWT*Wing stable mate Dizzy does not want Alicia to become violent. This causes a rift between them and Alicia goes further to "the dark side", rejecting Dizzys message of honorable competition.
7) Holly, Juli, and Sandy injure Dizzy at the last PPV as a message to Alicia about what happens when someone gets in their way. Alicia feels responsible for the Dizzy injury as she was given the "possible" (but likely illusory) chance to stop it but instead was frozen from indecision about whether to save Dizzy or end Holly's career. Holly escapes unscathed (and with her title) and Dizzy is crippled. (Since Dizzy is Jean Carter's favorite wrestler, Jean then begins to feel awkward around Alicia as she could have saved Dizzy).
8) This pushes Alicia further to the dark side and Holly takes credit for that corruption of Alicia's personality and morals. Alicia has a 1 track mind now of eliminating Holly from competition no matter what it takes in a total "ends justify the means" philosophy, which is very far from what Alicia started with in her career.
So that's basically how the story goes. Holly was the impetus to Alicia's career and life changes. Though others along the way certainly helped but Holly really is the biggest part.

Wonderland was awesome enough to offer to take high resolution pics of ALL the UBL roster members. In fact, he actually took pics of my entire memory card and that deserves cake or spaghetti or something. So please say a word of thanks or allow Nuderland into your forest and/or garden gnome settlement  I'm going to be editing my bios to include the new roster pics and will do the same for everyone else who has them posted. I think what I may also do is make a thread of roster members who don't have bios and put their pics there, that way people can at least identify with them when I do text matches of them. Oh and yeah, the ships hasn't sailed on the mini bio idea, i'm just kinda overwhelmed right now ;D Again, huge thanks to Wonderland for doing this |

I just replaced many of the bio pictures with the newer, higher res pics that Wonderland took. Of course feel free to shuffle the pics around in your bios, I just put them where I figured they would be seen best but in cases where there are other pics already there, I wasn't really sure. But yeah you have the links I'm going to be making a thread with pics of edits that don't have bios. If your edit is there and you make a bio, feel free to use the pic link and I'll eventually take the edit out of that big thread. Oh I'm also adding bios that I never ported over from the old board. Better late then never! ;D |

Wondy did absolutely ace work with the new bio pics. Also, ace work no your part updating EVERY bio (even porting the old bios).  ...............................................................................................................................................................FP doesn't do female faces well, does it? |

Just made the new thread with edits who don't have bios yet. And really, since so many of them haven't even debuted yet, there's no pressure or anything to get those bios up. Just wanted to get the pics in the thread so you guys can use the links when the time comes LOL FP can have issues with female faces - especially the ones that aren't as feminine as the WWE ones. I happen to like Ruby Moreno's face but yeah, it can be tricky ;D |

Ruby and Kristin Blade's faces are the only normal looking ones lol (everyone else seems to have disproportionately huge lips. That or it looks like their faces are melting off ;D  ). Firefly's half open eyes actually make her look stoned lol (Firefly to Wonderbeards shuld we do it?) Nevertheless, many, MANY thanks for creating the thread. ;D |
