Rock Band's character creator is on par with Fire Pro's - I just haven't sat and played with it, because nine times out of ten, I usually just go straight to playing music. In other news, we have Amplitude on its way - barring any unforeseen difficulties, there's no reason why it shouldn't be up by the weekend. Except for laziness. |

Rock Band pics. Very nice. I've noticed that one of the defaults looks like a short, not-centered-on-destroying-you Nicole Dramesi.

Rock Band pics. Very nice. I've noticed that one of the defaults looks like a short, not-centered-on-destroying-you Nicole Dramesi. Well; the funny thing about Rock Band's character creator is how you really dont' have to put in painstaking hours of effort to make someone look like you imagine (I'm looking at you, Mass Effect/Fallout 3/Oblivion) - and its amazing how well the personality of the character comes out in game, too. For example, Jenny, pre- and post-song, is all energy, bouncing around and cheering; but during the song, her head is low - the camera never goes below the rim of her hat - and she's all business. Its little details like that, that would make recording Rock Band videos fun. |

I feel like what Rock Band could really use is music videos. Almost all of the backdrops and performances in both Rock Band and Rock Band 2 are for live performances. I would love to see more crazy music video sets.
Also, Rock Band Lina is pure energy. She's all about rocking the fuck out. One time in a post- song celebration she jumped on me and knocked my head into the drum set. Swear ta Bob it was the funniest thing I ever saw in Rock Band.
