Renovations

We've seen this place before, Chez Cross, but last time [see issue 1, Ed] it wasn't going through some major redecorating! We find Kim sat on a dust-sheet covered chair in the middle of a half-painted room.
Kim: Well...
Kim sits in silence, rolling her gaze around the room. After some time she starts biting her lip.

Someone off camera coughs.

Kim: Soooo, I'm having quite a hard time coming up with something to say in regards to my victory over Jo...It's difficult to gloat when it was so obvious I was going to win. I can take a bit of satisfaction in beating the old bag that made Figaro tap-out, but...she's just not in my league. She's a warmup, an opening act to bigger, better things. One thing I can say though, is that Jo is the first of many. By that I mean she represents the old guard, emphasis on the old, along with alot of the other ladies on the roster...whilst I represent the new. Of course, there are girls that are even newer, but they're just not of the same caliber, I mean...I'm Kim Cross.
Much like this place, OG-Joshi needs some changes. I'm looking to shake things up, so all you "legends" need to keep an eye out.
Not because the winds of change are coming, but because I'm going! I'm going straight to the top! Which is unfortunate for you, because you're in my way, but just great for me, because...I'm Kim Cross.
