Re: OG-Joshi World Title match, Team Ryder, Alicia Gordon/Juli Krieger.
Greetings. As some of you may know, the next OG-Joshi World Championship Title match has been heavily discussed in recent weeks. Holly has informed OrochiGeese that, despite her broken leg, she plans to defend her World Championship against Haley Cannon during the OG-FPD 3 Year Anniversary PPV on December 13th, 2006. Haley has notified me that she accepts Holly's challenge and I very much look forward to their match.
Should Haley and Valeriyah advance to the final match of the OG-Joshi Tag Team Title Tournament, which will take place at the same 12/13 show, we will space the matches out to give Haley ample time to recover between matches. However, Haley and Valeriyah must first defeat HAWT*Wing to even get to the finals.
And with Jo Ryder's recent announcement about the disbanding of Team Ryder, it appears as if Dizzy's leadership role in HAWT*Wing, and tag team partnership with Azumi, may intensify. Haley/Valeriyah vs. HAWT*Wing is one of the most anticipated matches in the Tag Team Tournament and we will see how Dizzy has prepared for Haley over the last year. On a personal note, I respect all that Team Ryder did in professional wrestling but look forward to seeing the continued individual success that Jo Ryder, Dizzy, and everyone from that former organization will have. Though I'm sure my friend and colleague Mr. Figaro would disagree.
Finally I get to another matter involving a member of HAWT*Wing: Alicia Gordon's continued blood rivalry with Juli Krieger. We saw Juli come to the forefront again during the October 1st Voltage as she attacked Alicia during her match with Yoyo Banzai. Juli's attack was not quite as effective as her attack earlier this year. That is due in part to HAWT*Wing coming to Alicia's aid as well as Alicia's own increased skills. However, Alicia was still hit by the "TODESTROPFEN" and needed some time in the hospital for monitoring purposes. Luckily, Alicia did not suffer any more serious injuries then some minor soreness and post-match vertigo.
Alicia has spoken to me since then and has demanded another match with Juli Krieger. In Alicia's own words, "I beat that cowardly bitch in a REAL fight at Unleashed, but I'll face her again in ANY match of her choosing. Just let me know soon enough if it's a pie eating contest so I can start getting in shape for it." While I appreciate Alicia's ability to keep a sense of humor in this situation, likely due to her LAWL background, I do inform her that OG-Joshi doesn't use pie eating contests for matches...partially because we are a pro wrestling organization, but mainly because of the Pandora's box that would be opened in regards to a certain aforementioned member of our commentary team...and the resulting eternal sorrow of his ninja partner.
Now, I have attempted to contact Juli Krieger about Alicia's challenge but have not heard back from her. As stated by Alicia, Juli may pick the match stipulation of her choosing and Alicia will grant it to her. The match will take place on the next Voltage, which is to be held on November 12th.
I also would like to mention that OG-FPD's "Donnybrook at Pier 6" PPV which will be main evented by the very owner of OG-Joshi, OrochiGeese, will be held this coming weekend. And our esteemed OG-Joshi commentators, Mr. Clyde and Mr. Figaro, will also be involved in singles matches as well. That PPV will be followed shortly after by the public release of the HaLAWLoween show DVD which will feature matches from OG-Joshi superstars such as Alicia Gordon, Kat Black, and Angelica Hyde. Voltage will return on November 12th.
