Fade in to a sunny afternoon in front of a beautiful home. Lounging in a deck chair, a small table beside her, is Kaori NiGHT, who appears to have renewed her blonde dye-jobbed hairstyle. Kaori sits up and removes a pair of sunglasses from her face, legs crossed and hands folded in her lap, smiling with ruby-red lips.
[Kaori:] I know that my timing is a bit poor, with Evolution.R coming up tomorrow and all, but I felt the need to think long and hard about what I had to say. I trained, and I worked out, and I even had some unexpected difficulties thanks to a couple of green-clad bitches. And I realized something, Dizzy - Diane, as we might as well drop the formalities. I realized that there's something you just don't get. And I don't hold it against you, because you're still young, new - a fresh face. You see, I don't need to spend my time studying the whole of Team Ryder in an attempt to figure out what you're going to try in the ring, because whatever you may try in the ring won't compare to the people you're copying off of. You might throw an elbow like Frog, but it's not the same as a "Frogsawa" Elbow. You might wrestle like Jo Ryder, but not how Jo Ryder wrestles. You may hit a suplex like Eddie Swan, but not with the same skill. You see where I'm going here, right? You might be good at pantomiming other people, but what you can't mimic is the driving force behind those people, those movements, and that makes them hollow.
Kaori picks a glass off the table beside her and takes a drink from it.
[Kaori:] Let me give you an example here, to help illustrate my point. If Jo Ryder ever bothered to show up for one of our big, scheduled match-ups, she and I would put on a clinic. We would both be extremely motivated to put on an amazing, one-of-a-kind match-up, as only we could. Our motivation, our dedication to each other and to the crowd, to prove that we are the top of our field, and not only that, but to prove that the victor is the true Queen of Professional Wrestling. That is the kind of intensity, the kind of ferocity, the kind of expertise that Jo Ryder and myself bring to the ring. But not you. You can try to copy her style, but you can't with true success because you lack the motivation, the experience, and the mentality to properly drive that style.
And to even further prove that point, look at what happened not even three weeks ago at NDP’s FORSAKEN Supercard. I had trained and worked myself up so much, pushing myself to my limits so that I could finally face down Jo Ryder, and got myself in a mindset to wrestle her, to counter her, to beat her… and I was thrown a curve ball. That wench Holly shows up, and I was so completely unprepared for anyone except Jo Ryder that I was really defeated before the match started.
Do not understate me, however. I know that you are a fantastic athlete, a fantastic wrestler. As my partner Jenny McLanahan might say under better circumstances, you make this sh¡t look good. But you are not Jo Ryder. You are not Frog Jones. You are not Eddie Swan.
Evolution.R is coming up tomorrow, Diane. You might have had to study only one person, but there is a large amount to cover on that one person. You're not going to be ready for everything I can do if you just look at the past few years. You will have to go back, you will have to look and research and devour every little bit of information you can to truly be ready for me, just like I've been doing for myself. You can ask Tigress Mask about that; it's been a long time since I used the Decrescendo, but it's still as effective as ever.
It's been years since I've done a lot of things, Diane, and I'm curious to see if you'll be ready for them.
Fade out.
