**A repetitive sound fades in. It is a large crowd, chanting something that is 3 syllables. As the sound fades in and gets louder, it becomes apparent what the crowd is chanting
BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV!
**Fade in to a shot of a large audience, obviously doing the chanting,
shaking their fists high in the air to the rhythm of the three syllables. The
camera pans to the right, showing the excited throng of viewers. The camera
then slowly moves to the center of the arena, where a ring is full of people,
one of which, a blonde wearing blue, is being hoisted onto the shoulders of a
few others.
BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV!
**The camera zooms out and focuses on a man close by. It's British announcer,
Kent Golding.
Kent (speaking loudly): "It's pandemonium here at Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev,
Ukraine. Tonight, Haley Cannon, the reigning OG Joshi World Champion, battled
the Russian National Sambo, Judo and Wrestling Champion, Valeriyah Belikov,
whose name can be heard as we speak, being chanted by this capacity crowd."
BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV!
Kent (still speaking loudly): "In the last two months, Miss Cannon has earned 9
straight victories in 9 different countries throughout Europe, including a few
very convincing matches won under 3 minutes in Greece and Italy. But tonight
is different. Minutes ago, tonight's New Years Day main event ended in a time
limit draw after 30 minutes of some of the finest wrestling I've ever
witnessed.
The match started with a bang as Valeriyah Belikov surprised Haley with a very
quick back spin kick that caught the OG Joshi Champion square in her
midsection. Belikov seized the opportunity and took Haley to the mat,
attempting to finish her off, but Haley's resilience showed as she defended
herself from Belikov's pin attempt and subsequent submission attempts.
**We are shown a clip of that opening sequence, clearly showing the impact of Belikov's back spin kick and followup takedown.
Kent: "5 minutes of this match was comprised of Haley fighting off Belikov's rear
naked choke attempts. Belikov showed amazing kicking prowess as well as solid
mat skill. But it wasn't enough to put Haley Cannon away."
**A clip of Haley struggling out of Belikov's rear naked choke is shown. It is obvious she has difficulty escaping, but eventually does so
Kent: "After 20 minutes, it appeared Haley had the match won, as she got into position
for her crippling Lancashire Death Trap. Belikov showed amazing fortitude by
withstanding the submission attempt, but would exceed that triumph by escaping
it another 3 times!
**Four short clips of Belikov escaping and enduring the LDT
When the bell rang for the 30 minute time limit, the entire stadium erupted in
tumultuous applause and cheers for Belikov, which eventually became the chant
you can still hear now."
**A clip is shown with both competitors on the mat fighting for position, when the bell is rung and the crowd erupts.
BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV!
Kent: "When we return, we'll try to get a few words with the reigning OG Joshi
Champion, Haley Cannon."
**Fade to black as you still hear the crowd chanting
BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV!

**Back to Kent Golding, outside of the locker room with a lot more of the
press.
Kent: "Welcome back, everyone. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we're going
to be able to get a word from Haley tonight. We are told she is exhausted and
is flying to Japan early tomorrow to continue her rigorous schedule.
However, the question everybody is wondering is will there be a rematch? The
Russians are demanding it, and so is Belikov, saying that if there would have
been more time, Belikov would have emerged the victor. But Haley's tour is now
taking her to Japan and doesn't have time for a return trip to the Ukraine.
And after the tour is over, she returns to the OG-FPD venue for her obligations
there, so it is uncertain if and when a rematch will take place."
**The door to the locker rooms opens and two women emerge. One speaks in
English, while the other repeats in Russian:
Woman: "Miss Cannon will be out to answer a few questions, but only if they are
asked in an orderly fashion. She is tired and must head back to her hotel."
**The woman peeks her head into the room and Haley Cannon comes out with a
towel draped across the back of her neck. The members of the press begin
taking pictures and asking questions feverishly and are subsequently hushed by
the woman while camera flashes ignite everywhere. She then picks one press
member to ask a question:
Press1: "Miss Cannon, do you think you could have won if there was no time
limit?"
Haley: "At this point, I have to say that is uncertain. Miss Belikov was a
formiddable opponent, the likes of which I haven't seen. In all honesty, after
30 minutes I didn't feel as though I had her where I wanted her. On the other
hand, I didn't feel at risk of losing either. It could have gone a long time."
Press2 (in Russian): "Miss Cannon, will there be a rematch, and if so, when?"
**Haley's interpreter translates
Haley: "I don't know, as that's not up to me. I'm leaving for Japan early
tomorrow morning where I will finish my tour. If there is a rematch, it will
be up to OrochiGeese to determine when and where it will take place. What I
can promise, is that I, personally, want a rematch. And if I have it my way,
there will be no time limit. Miss Belikov has at least earned that much."
Kent: "What are your thoughts on tonight's match and your opponent?"
Haley: "This was a gruelling match with a very worthy opponent. Valeriyah
Belikov is calm, in control and even tempered. You can see it in her eyes.
She has phenomenal execution and an incredible submission defense. It is
obvious she has a lot of experience in the ring. The match itself is what
wrestling is all about to me. Not only that, it's what OG Joshi is all about.
When I began my tour, I told my opponents to be ready for me and for the spirit
of OG Joshi. Valeriyah Belikov was ready and she showed the true spirit and
intensity of OG Joshi. I wish her well and hope to face her again some day."
Press3: "Any final comments?"
Haley: "Only this: tonight I was tested and taken to my limits. I did not
emerge victorious, but I also did not lose. I am STILL OG Joshi World
Champion! It is in matches like the one I just had that we are pushed to learn
more, about our skills and strategies, but also about ourselves. Tonight, I
emerge a wiser and more skilled opponent than I was when I walked into the
stadium. I will only be tougher to defeat now. So as I said again, to those
who challenge me, be ready. Be ready for ME, and be ready for the intensity
that is OG Joshi!"
**Haley goes back into the locker room while the press tries to squeeze one
more question in, but is pushed away.
Kent (to the camera): "Well, it seems Haley has been able to retain her focus
and keep her objectives in sight. If there is ever a rematch, it should be a
phenomenal bout.
Thank you for joining me, this is Kent Golding. Good night!"
**Switch to a scene outside the stadium where fans are exiting the building and
still chanting:
BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV! BELIKOV!
**Fade out
