Ok so Voltage is done, posted, confirmed to still exist ;D I was a bit unnerved at seeing that over a year had passed since the previous Voltage - but we did have the PPV and a bunch of O's TV shows so it's not like nothing has happened since then. The more I thought about it, I think we've been pretty good here, or at least in an upswing, ever since the PPV. Certainly in the last few weeks. I'd like to think Voltage took us further in that direction as well. Next step is Amplitude. I already have one big announcement planned and I'd like that to really be the centerpiece of the entire brand for the upcoming months. Some of the smaller stories are important and will work around the big one, hopefully via RP's. I'll get an Amplitude written rather soon with an emphasis on the big announcement and a few planned matches to accompany it. I think I'm gonna go for shorter Amplitude shows with less dialogue and more narrative to just take us where we need to go. Anyone that wants to explore things further can do it via RP's Voltage won't keep the big format for too much longer either. Part of the reason for the change will be storyline-based and the other part is cause it takes too long to get shows out. Both Voltage and Amplitude need to be the driving shows of their respective rosters (rather then O's TV which should really be mostly for rookies or just wrestlers who haven't had recent booking) and not mini PPV's so I hope to get a quicker pace on both in the coming months. Cause preparing for longer shows is just stalling things and isn't really working any more. Once the UBL Battalion is over, I'll likely be switching overall UBL show formats to a quicker and easier one to write. (Having Circuit shows function more like basic house shows). I've always said the best e-fed show format is the one that actually produces shows ;D

Amplitude is a little more then half-written. The summary style has helped me focus on the important things. I've also got the schedule for the shows up until the next PPV which is....finally good to have So expect things...big things... to continue to happen! ;D

Amplitude has now been finished and it will be posted later this week Gonna start work on writing the second Voltage soon too. This is going to be a shorter PPV cycle then usual for a number of story reasons. (some teased here) There will be a total of 2 Voltages and 3 Amplitudes in this cycle. I have all of the matches booked for each as well as for the PPV. I also have two and a half shows of Orochi-O's TV done for random scatterings

The next Amplitude has now been finished - expect it mid next week I have started on the next Voltage. It is rather important and shall be rather large. But I still hope to finish and post it by the end of March. Meanwhile I have 2-3 Orochi-O's TVs that I can use between Amplitude and Voltage. After that Voltage, there will be one final Amplitude before the PPV I'm moving rather quickly here. The reasons are that the OG-Joshi and UBL stories are connected and I want to hit the points I need in a certain order to get past the Battalion and the OG-Joshi PPV. After that, I can start changing shows around to make them a bit easier to produce for both feds. That way if I ever get hit by any major delays or distractions, I won't be as stalled as I was in recent years. So I'm basically moving fast now to ensure we don't ever get to a total standstill again. And also cause after about two years of preparation and delays, I'm finally getting into big stories of fed-changing importance The stuff I've had in my head since like 2006. It's about damn time. Let's just hope we get there without any more silliness. I'm looking at YOU, Patata Dulce. Don't steal my microwave again.

So another update seems appropriate There will be a UBL show this weekend. Next weekend will have a LAWL show (!). And the following weekend will either be an O's TV or, if I'm done, the next Amplitude. That show is about one-third done but really won't take too long to finish. I'm probably gonna go with a video match main event of Lina vs. Eris and I have about half of the rest of the show written. So shouldn't be too hard. After Amplitude is done, then it's just a matter of finishing up the PPV (which will be named at Amplitude). The good news is I think I can get the PPV out quickly. In fact, I just got two matches tonight. The Amplitude Title match is pretty damn awesome - it may be the MoTN This PPV will hopefully hit around June and probably be a bit more lowkey in terms of stories and horrific injuries (Yea!). Due to the commentary situation and overall "Renaissance" mood, I think we may just have things more or less in the ring-centric. I'm not 100% sure if I even want to do commentary (and who would do it) but I'm not ruling anything out. Once I get all the videos, I'll probably figure out what I want to do. There will be at least two write-up matches for the show so we'll have a text base anyway. Having some light commentary by even Jean herself (and maybe Luke as commentary partner?) could work. I like the idea of this being a very in-ring focused PPV though and then I have plenty ready for you guys story-wise for the following Amplitude and Voltages. If anyone is confused with where your character is for the near future, let me know. I hope to work more rookies into the Amplitude shows after the PPV too.

*Claps*I just got an INCREDIBLE Lina vs. Eris video match for the upcoming Amplitude. Wow Probably each of their best matches in OG-Joshi so far. Fitting it's against each other

I just finished writing Amplitude tonight! It will be posted next weekend Hope you enjoy the O's TV matches tonight - I especially loved the tag match. So we got Amplitude next week and I've already begun work video capping the PPV. I still hope to have that done by July but delays are possible on account of SSF4/Red Dead Redemption/Mario Galaxy/etc. Still, let's hope the siren song of OG-Joshi keeps a'singing ;D Holly: "Either that or a swift kick to the nads."

First off, run and don't walk to Lina's new RP. Hilarity + Brilliance rolled into one ;D Secondly, I'll have the next O's TV lined up for this weekend Thirdly, the PPV has some good progress but with Red Dead Redemption out today, i'll likely be taking a few week hiatus from producing any new fed content. The game is awesome and i just want to immerse myself in it fully for a bit. However I have enough O's TV's to last a few weeks and other RP's lined up

Illumination remains in production. Tonight I finished another video match and I just have one left Unfortunately this was one of those shows where some matches outright weren't behaving. I actually had like over half the show done before Red Dead even came out but when FPR doesn't want certain wrestlers to win EVEN WHEN I GIVE THEM NEVERENDING SPIRIT AND LOWER THEIR OPPONENTS POINTS, then things get necessarily delayed. I know when I shirk on things but this time, the game just was infuriatingly unhelpful for like 50 sims. It's not like those matches were bad either, it's just that the wrong wrestler kept winning. And while sometimes I tack on endings by myself, I prefer having "natural" ones. Especially for PPV. Anyway, there will be another O's TV in the next week. After that, the Battalion. I may do another O's TV in between that and Illumination so that I'm not releasing two huge shows in a row. I'm hoping to have Illumination done by late July really. As I haven't started writing it yet I can't fully predict what will happen but since I already aimed to have it as a shorter show (due to our commentators being unceremoniously fired), it shouldn't be too difficult. There's definitely gonna be a bit of a transition period between the old Voltage/PPV format and what I end up with. Amplitude is fine as is but I'm not sure I want Voltage like that too just cause i tend to prefer different formats for different shows. Then again, as I could see myself using more summary write-ups for Voltage in place of video matches (not all, just more then in the past), the Amplitude format may work and also kinda further legitimize Amplitude if both shows are using a similar format. I'm gonna continue to give it some thought. I'm not sure I want another commentator team, at least not so soon after Clyde/Figaro. And introducing more NPC's isn't something I'm ready for right now. Also - for those fans who are LAWL-inclined, tonight I finished the final match needed for the OMG #1 Contender tournament show. That will be up at some point in August

Ok...
I got it. I got the final match. This has to be a new record. I believe it has taken me over 50 tries to get a match where the right person won. And damn if the other girl didn't go down kicking and screaming.
Now that all the Illumination videos are done, I can start writing the show. I'm still aiming for a late July release. I have an idea of what I'm gonna go for here - a stylized reason for a rather stripped down show. No commentary, minimal angles. Just matches and very good ones for the most part.
The sooner this gets done, the sooner I can go back to regular storytelling which should get pretty major at the next Voltage and Amplitude. As the PPV will really have an emphasis on wrestling, I think keeping things simple works best. And I don't want to burn out on writing before Voltage/Amplitude.
So yeah, sorry things have been a bit slow around here but June is always busy for me. Things should pick up again within the next month and I plan to have a very easy (to write) format after the PPV to allow me to keep things going and emphasize the parts of OG-Joshi that really keep me interested the most.
The match videos are no longer one of those parts as FPR just isn't cooperating to the extent I need it to.

I ended up actually getting one more video match for the show. I was planning on writing the Alicia/Haley vs. Jill/Juli match but I was kinda interested in how video would turn out and if FPR could actually follow the complicated story here (that of Alicia and Haley needing to show restraint for any win of theirs to count). I did make two small changes to the booking. Now it's a tornado match (which will make Alicia even more frazzled and harder to control) and I put Linda Parker in place of Jill Chambers (as Alicia dislikes Linda more then Jill). I got some excellent sims and one really just clicked with me. So that's a video now and the match was so good it helped me clarify a story I was a bit off with. So after the ragging I did on FPR the last week, I felt it was only fair to compliment it here ;D I started the basic format for the PPV write-up. I really want to go small on this and damn...wow, the second I typed this sentence, I came up with a great idea on how to allow myself some "commentary" but keep it limited and logical. I think I'm set with total format now! I finished two others shows tonight (including a LAWL one for those inclined) so Illumination is squarely on my radar now with no other fed distractions. I think I can finish it by the end of the week if I'm diligent
