Re: Orochi Army, Dods, Diva/Natalia
I continue to scratch my head as to the antics of my associate Mr. Figaro, and I'd like to extend further apologies to the Reed Sisters and audience as a whole after what they witnessed this past Voltage. But, as I promised Melody and Harmony, they will get another shot at Kat and Kim, and this time Mr. Figaro will be banned from the ring. This rematch will take place on the Voltage scheduled for Sunday, November 18.
On a more serious note, both Lana and Lisa Robinson were injured at the hands of Polly Dod. I had been warned by certain members of the roster as to the power of Miss Dod, but when faced with the question of adding her to the roster or not, I had no rational choice BUT to sign the much lauded former PW-W Women's Champion so as to further enrich the level of competition here. In the future, I hope that Polly will exercise more restraint but I do not think punishment is necessary for this situation as I understand her desire to make an impact on her first night here. While no one can doubt her destructive power, her intentions did not strike me as vicious enough to qualify for sanctions. If anything, I think she does not quite appreciate just how truly powerful she is, a trait shared by fellow OG-Joshi wrestler, Jenna Stone. With Polly's actions, she displayed the exact power and dominance that many have attributed to her. I am sure the wrestlers of OG-Joshi will rise to the occasion in competing with yet another legend of women's wrestling, as Polly can seek to continue writing her legacy here against the best women wrestlers in the world.
As stated, both Lana and Lisa Robinson had a very rough night this past Sunday. After Polly's power bomb, Lana collapsed onto the mat in an unconscious state. Much of her fatigue, of course, was due to her grueling match with Jane, a match that many have called the match of the night. But Lana has been treated for exhaustion and has stayed in the hospital the last few days just as a precaution. Her prognosis is good and aside from some soreness in her back and some stiches to her face, she should be back on her feet and in the ring in no time. There are few women on our roster, if any, tougher then Lana is.
Lisa Robinson sustained the brunt of Polly's attack, and was clearly injured more severely. However the extent of that injury is not fully known yet. If she can make it back by the next Voltage, then she can be part of a six woman tag match pitting her, Lana and Juli Tanaka against Eris Byrne teaming with Jane and Polly Dod. In the case that Lisa does not return in time, then I will find a suitable replacement.
Finally, it was a pleasure to watch Natalia Nogaard face DARKNESS Diva in their match and even their series. They both have expressed interest in facing off in a final match, to break their current tie, and I will allow them to do it on the next Voltage. The final match listing for the next two shows can be found here.
Sincerely,
General Celes
