*We join up with Alicia Gordon and Thunder Strike minutes after Alicia left the September 5th Voltage show. They are now outside walking through the parking lot.*
TS: "How did it go?"
Alicia: "It had to be done and I stand by what I said. But as I expected, Diane didn't take it well and I...*Alicia looks down, regretfully* I lost my temper with her. *She raises her head again with an expression of protest* But she had her chance to do the right thing."
TS: "Yes she did. Multiple chances. So don't worry about her anymore. At this point she's at best, an obstacle, and no longer a real ally. Now listen, is Holly in the building tonight? Do we have our chance?"
Alicia: "No...she's not so we have no more business here. So let's just go. After all, we've got some planning to do...not to mention...a celebration."
*Alicia briefly breaks into a smile, one of the few we've seen from her over the last 9 months*
TS: "Of what?"
Alicia: "Oh I dunno, that little matter of you HUMILIATING OrochiGeese and beating him til he was unconscious at Unchained!!"
TS: "Oh...that."
Alicia: "Yeah, THAT! Shouldn't you be happy or at least a BIT satisfied!"
TS: "Only fulfilled because I believe it helped our cause. But any emotional satisfaction before the mission is completed is dangerous cause it leads to stagnation. I'm just as hungry, angry, and motivated NOW to eliminate Geese as I was after his so called "big reveal" a few months ago. I got a measure of revenge at "Unchained" but that just means I have to be more vigilant then ever now that he sees what I can do. In proving I wasn't a joke, I grew larger on his radar ever since."
Alicia: "If that's the case, then why did you even do what you did at Unchained? Why not just wait until you could totally destroy Geese in one action?"
TS: "Unfortunately...he's simply too strong to take out in one fell swoop. I have to destroy his vital points, ALL of them. And to do that, I have to drain them over time, I injured two of them at Unchained: his pride and his sense of control. He's more desperate now as a result."
Alicia: "But doesn't that makes him potentially more dangerous?"
TS: "It also makes him more dependent on rage, which means he's thinking less then usual. And certainly thinking less then I am."
*Alicia nudges him but he doesn't respond. She then punches him in the shoulder*
TS: "Sorry, thinking less then WE are. *Alicia grins* And just like OUR *He rubs his shoulder and Alicia grins again* plans have caused Holly to be reckless, Geese is more apt to make a mistake now too, that's the key. He's lost some control and he knows it. And that angers him so much that his immediate response is to flail away with violence...thinking he can regain his upper hand by taking out anyone that angers him. But that mindset just makes him lose even more control. It's a cycle of self-destuction and rage that we started for him. And I hope to finish it and him at our Universal League match on October 21st, if not beforehand."
Alicia: "You have more chances with him then I do with Holly at the rate she's hiding!"
TS: "And the way things have been going recently, I'm sure I'll have to stop Geese yet AGAIN from trying to end someone's career. Jason Hyde is in his sights now and I'm not sure WHAT Geese has up his sleeve. But you can bet its not good for Jason. I know he said he can take care of himself and he's turning into a great fighter, but no one can truly fight alone when Geese is in this state of rage with the power and allies he still has. Not Jason, not McLanahan, not me. We ALL need someone watching our back. In fact, I talked to Jang and from now on, he's gonna be there for every league show to do just that. It turned out good for us that Geese didn't allow him in the actual league, cause he'll be fresh back-up for me when needed."
Alicia: "Sounds like we have things under control with Geese."
TS: "As we do with Holly. You have your match with her at the 12/13 Anniversary show. Optimally, we'll find a way to eliminate her even before that."
Alicia: "Or at least stop her from hurting anyone else til then."
TS: "Exactly. Right now, winning the title from her is just a secondary concern. Eliminating her from competition to protect everyone else is foremost. I know you can do it in your match, but if you can manage it earlier, all the better. Unfortunately. that next immediate step is a bit unclear because it relies on Holly being present. It seems like she's avoiding you, and for good reason. Had it not been for Geese and the Curs, you would have finished her at the LAWL show. A show I wish I would-"
*Alicia puts her hand up*
Alicia: "Stop, we talked about that already. You were here in NY for a UBL show that same weekend I was in LA. Not even YOU can be two places at once."
TS: "Not YET at least."
*Alicia chuckles but then falls silent, After a few moments of deliberation she speaks up.*
Alicia: "TS...something's been bugging me."
TS: "Yes?"
Alicia: "I don't know where General Celes stands. And that's dangerous for us. Recently she's SEEMED cold to Geese but I don't know if this is just a phase or maybe an act to trap me."
TS: "I told you from the start not to trust her and I stand by that, but you can still benefit from her decisions. She seems to have hated Holly long before you or I came on the scene so I don't think that's an act. BUT that doesn't mean that trusting and divulging in her fully won't compromise the mission. Play your part but don't let her in, ok?"
Alicia: "Ok."
TS: "I have a feeling that situation with her and...'them' may just work itself out if recent events are any indication."
Alicia: "What do you mean 'work itself out'?"
*TS looks around furtively*
TS: "We're too close to their arena to discuss this in detail. There could be spies around here. So let's go and I'll tell you on the way."
Alicia: "On the way?"
TS: "We're going to LA to train with Jang this week."
*Alicia gets a sudden look of realization on her face*
Alicia: "Of course! For his match against Mr. Clyde! Alright, let's jet."
*They get into Thunder Strike's jeep and drive out of the parking lot on the way to the airport*
