*** Former OG-Joshi World Champion, Haley Cannon, stands before an OG-Joshi banner, out of uniform and looking quite happy.
[Haley]: "Good day to all of you! I apologize for my lack of public appearances of late, but I assure you, it was for good reason. After my defeat at Unleashed, I devoted my attention to the upcoming Tag Team title tournament. My entire career has been singles matches, and given my performance in the Triple Threat, I decided it would be good for me and a lot of fun to take part in some tag team wrestling.
So I considered who my partner should be, and had no trouble making that decision. Very few have challenged me at my own game, and one in particular stood out. She is a fine competitor and a great wrestler that won my respect. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my tag team partner, Valeriyah Belikov."
*** Haley gestures to her left and Valeriyah Belikov walks into view in front of the banner
[Valeriyah] (in her Russian accent): "Hello! I was very pleased when my former opponent, Haley Cannon, asked me to be tag team partner. It is an honor. I think we make very good team with our similar style. Haley is tough woman and I am tough woman and together we even tougher. Haley teaches me a lot and I become even better. Tag team is lot of fun and I can't wait for next match!"
[Haley]: "And Valeriyah, thank you for accepting my offer. Our last match was, indeed, a lot of fun. Thank you."
*** Haley hugs Valeriyah, who then walks off screen.
[Haley]: "So for the last few weeks, Valeriyah and I have been working together and practicing for the tournament. As you can see, our efforts have so far paid off, and I think everyone will find that we are no easy meat.
But allow me for a moment to address Holly. Holly, most impressive. You said that the silence following your victory was proof of acceptance, and you're right. I'm not a fool, you won the Triple Threat match fair and square, with guts, skill and intensity. You *earned* the title. I'll make no excuses for myself. Well done. I'm not upset either. This is what competition is all about. You don't improve much when you are faced with easy challenges. It is not until you are defeated and you once again find more strength and skill in yourself, and climb to new heights, that you truly improve. And there is nothing better than the competition of somebody who tests your skills to the limits or beyond. And that reminds me...
I feel that Jo Ryder deserves accolades for the constitution, tenacity and sheer guts she displayed in our recent tag team match. I lost count of how many times I thought I finally had her in a position where she would have to submit. That is competition at its finest. My compliments, Miss Ryder. I do hope we can meet in the ring again.
Now, just because I'm in a strong tag team, don't think I've forgotten about the OG-Joshi World Title. I'm not going to just let Holly flaunt it about. Now that she has earned it, she will have to fight to keep it.
And I want to be the first to test her."
**** Fade out, man
