The scene opens to the Peter Venkman Memorial Arena, OG-Joshi Wing. The camera angle shows nearly the entire arena from close to the roof, and the arena is empty, as there isn't a show scheduled for some time. The arena is set-up as it always is, and a few of the arena lights are on. The entryway spotlight brightens to life, and a figure is seen walking down the entry ramp. The camera angle changes to one at the entry ramp, and we see the figure, being tracked by the spotlight, is the OG-Joshi World Champion, Visper Karr. The color is nearly drained from the camera angle; the OG-Joshi World Championship's gold plates stand out against a mostly black-and-white scene. As Visper walks, she's humming something, a familiar tune, and as she sings the line "When I'm walking in the streets, I am a bullet," before continuing to hum, you know it's her own entrance music she's got stuck in her head.
Visper stops at the base of the entrance ramp, and aims a remote toward the lighting rig above the ring and presses a button, and the entire lighting rig explodes in light - a bit too much, frankly. Visper seems to agree, and she begins fiddling with controls until she finds a level of light that works for her as she enters the ring from the apron. She stands in the center of the ring, looking around at the empty arena, and the camera angle changes to one inside the ring. Visper takes a deep breath, and stares into the camera.
[Visper:] It is a new year. 2010. A nice round number. But for OG-Joshi, January 2010 isn't just the beginning of a new year, it is the beginning of a new life. OG-Joshi has spent too long at the whims of a vile tyrant; someone who has sought only personal gain and the means to take vengeance upon people that only wanted to do something they were passionate about. But as Holly Walker lost the OG-Joshi World Championship, that hatred-fueled reign of a pathetic little girl ended. OG-Joshi has the opportunity now to be reborn, returned to its original form as a place where competition is not just allowed, but desired and championed.
But it won't happen *snaps fingers* just like that. Only OG-Joshi can save OG-Joshi. We have a wonderful, talented roster here. Some of the best wrestlers in the world compete here in OG-Joshi. And we all have the will, the desire, to return OG-Joshi to its glory. The corrupting touch of Holly Walker can be erased if we work together for it. She would want us to be afraid. Afraid that we might end up broken like Dizzy Cauvito. That we might end up tormented and corrupted like Alicia Gordon. But we can't be afraid. We mustn't be afraid. We mustn't let our passion be stolen by the cowardice of a few that would turn it against us. We can succeed. We must succeed.
The fact that I am the OG-Joshi World Champion is proof that Holly Walker's grasp on OG-Joshi itself is failing. She took all of her rage, her avarice, her fear, and aimed it toward me. She belittled me. She threatened me. She did all she could to make me cave, and I took it all. And I stood there, and I never shook. I stood there with love and compassion, and let her believe she was in control.
And then a strange thing happened; people began to hope in me. They saw that I was the one in control. They saw how I handled myself. And they hoped. And hope is the most powerful force in existence... but useless if there is no willpower behind it. Thankfully, Holly Walker is more than capable at giving someone the will to beat her. So I continued to take her abuse, her vitriol. And it fueled my will and made me strong. And when we fought, I took all of that rage and avarice and fear she had directed toward me - I took the power of her misguided actions - and the hope of the crowd, the love and compassion of my fellow competitors, and my own will, and I burned Holly Walker alive with it.
They tell me it was over an hour before she even realized she had lost the match.
And I know that even as I speak, she and her cohorts, her lackeys, her "boss", are all doing what they can to come up with a plan to take the OG-Joshi World Championship from me; to take the soul of OG-Joshi and leave it dead in a ditch again. And she will try. And she will do horrible things. But she will never win, because all her scheming will do is leave her weak-willed and fearful. And she will fail. And that will make any trial endurable.
Visper removes the OG-Joshi World Championship from her waist, and holds it in front of her chest. The camera zooms in, showing only the faceplate.
[Visper:] This is not just my Championship reign, or the "Visper Karr Era"; this is my life. This is my cause. And this...
The lights brighten up the view of the camera, and there's a dull noise, like a crowd far away, and the camera begins to pull back. The view is of the OG-Joshi Wing of the Peter Venkman Arena, a crowd full and packed to the rafters, all cheering as lights fill the arena. And in the center of the picture is Visper Karr, the OG-Joshi World Champion, holding the World Championship in her hands, surrounded by nearly the entire OG-Joshi roster. Haley Cannon, Kim Cross, Kat Black, Kristin Blade, the OG-Joshi Tag Team Champions Kaori NiGHT, Jenny McLanahan, and Juli Tanaka, Lori Cuozzo, Tigress Mask, Jill Chambers, Eris Byrne, Gutter, the Royal Deities, and more. Even the Dods! They all stand around Visper Karr, looking into the camera with looks of happiness or determination on their faces.
[Visper:] ...this is my OG-Joshi!
The camera holds on that image, of nearly all the OG-Joshi roster surrounding their World Champion in a show of unity.
Fade out.
